Hotel is in the heart of Chania tourist area. Small room but it had a small bed higher up, accessible by a small ladder. Finding the place was tricky as few Ink's in the area. Confusing part was getting the key, which you get from an alternate Ink location. This was not notified in the reservation detail and I only found out because one of the guests told me. Recommended Very impressed - for the price compared to comparable properties, the room was impressive and relatively large. Checkin process was simple and staff pleasant, allowed us to store our bags in their office on day of checkout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Perfect location to wander around the old town and also along the new harbour to the bars. The room was perfect for a 1 night stay. Good shower, kettle and fridge. 2 small complimentary bottles of water too.

It did not have as advertised; sea view, breakfast or parking available. It took 1 1/2 hours to check in, room was not ready by 3pm and directions to site were inadequate. There is no onsite help for anything.

Super friendly at reception. Super clean and as good as new. Good washing and shower facilities. Air conditioning works very well. There could be a set of cutlery and a plate and a large bottle of water instead of two mini bottles. Overall, highly recommended.

A very reasonably price establishment but excellent value for money in a superb central location. A small room but totally functional. Everything you need for a 1 night a short stay. A lovely hot shower. Comfortable bed. Safe, coffee machine. Ice cold Air con. And a lovely sea view. Room 16. Easy checkin. 100% recommended.

with a very cozy and clean room , it had everything we needed , we loved how convenient it was to move around. It has the cutest balcony and is accessible to everything around town . The staf was aslo very helpful! Totally recommend and we would love to stay again!!

Fantastic hotel in the old city. Walk to minute and you are in the city. Clean and comfortable beds. Hotel staff was there for you. Beautiful renovation, all you needed was in the room. Did not have a sea view but still a great room. Delicious cake and coffee in the front desk

We stayed here for two nights. The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron. Wifi was great. One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby.

This was our third visit to Axos and we would not think of staying anywhere else in Crete! The staff team are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and professional, and their genuine care for guests makes many people return time after time. We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh. Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band. I highly recommend

Our favourite Hotel in Rethymno!! Not far from the beach and a nice shopping road. The personal is always doing their best and have a smile on their face. Big thanks goes to Petros for always making our stay comfortable and very welcoming. Definitely a recommendation!

A great hotel with pretty good conditions. I spent 7 nights of vacation here and I can say that it was superb. I got a 2-room apartment, clean, well-kept, spacious balcony with a sea view. Nice rooms, and interior, everything is clean and looks new. A lot of flowers inside and around the pool. Personel is very friendly. Near the windy beach (but all beaches in Crete are windy). Breakfast is nice and cool. Good small hotel.

Nice hotel if you want to relax in calm and clean appartment with pool, near to the beach and restaurants. In thr center of small place with some shops, 15 min by bus to the Rethymno. I love Crete ❤️

Lovely hotel. Fair price in Oct. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Maria at the front desk was delightful to deal with. Breakfast was more than enough for us. Room and balcony were spacious. We enjoyed the pool.

Good hotel for affordable price. It is very clean, cleaning is done every day, towels are replaced daily as well as bed sheets... Confortable beds and pillows, hot water is always available. Nice terrace for afternoon chill. All in all you get what you pay for and is good.

We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. We were offered the only room available, the top floor apartment with our own private terrace. We loved it! We were able to sunbathe, play our music and enjoy the quiet, play cards etc. We have booked to return next year as we were so happy with the apartment, location, staff ...

Hotel is clean and good quality. The woman at the reception was super nice. It is a small 10 minute walk to the old town restaurant and party area, but the walk is nice and at the beach. I’m the night it is quiet and a pool and aircondition helps to cool down. Worth the money :)

Great value for money! Slightly older building, but clean and well maintained. Good service. The kitchenette and air-conditioning worked. The free Wi-Fi is probably not fast enough because it kept freezing while all guests were awake. The pool is small but cleaned regularly. Probably the biggest strength for this hotel is its location. Think it was my 5th time staying in Aquarius Boutique Hotel - feels like coming home. Great staf, great beds, great rooms pritty much all is great. So going back in september again to Rethymnon and of course staying at Aquarius

+ location (very close to the beach and all stores, restaurants) + quite cheap + service is very friendly and helpful + cheap cocktails and swimming pool is not usually busy + 7€ breakfast at another hotel, the same owner, but it's located elsewhere, very good breakfast though (but they don't have air conditioner there, so prepare for the worst). + clean rooms - you have to pay for air conditioner...

Wonderful place and friendly staff. The rooms are perfectly cleaned. Stunning view of Rethymno from the upper observation and sunbathing deck.

It was just next to the beach. Very close to the town. Bus station 1min.walk. Fantastic apartment for the price. The reception lady Konstantina Exelent,helpful,sweet,very friendly,all in superlative!!!! Solid but kinda generic hotel with lovely staff

We arrived on 1.11.2025, the campsite was open, but there was no one at the reception. Payment is made via email... we really liked the campsite, the parking space at the very back by the beach was great, everything was clean, trash cans were taken out, the water in the shower was hot, the toilets were clean, the kitchenette had a stove, fridge, and detergents... I rate it very positively...

We love camping Elizabeth! This was our third visit and it’s always a wonderful experience. Friendly, relaxed, beautiful, well situated and the staff in the campsite and in the taverna are wonderful. We took the Eglo tent for 2 nights and had a great time. The camping located perfect on the beach! We had everything we needed close,clean,and simple. Nice calm atmosphere as well.

An amazing friendly campsite. Good food and service in the taverna. Very clean facilities. Right on the beach. (Turtles included). Food shops within 150m. You can even rent tents and come with just your suitcase. Camp kitchen available if you want to cook, electric hookups so you can run a fan if needed and charge your electrical goods. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 13 nights in a bell tent. The camping offers a great experience close to the nature. It Is clean and quiet full of plants, the food in the taverna is great. The nights are pleasant and fresh.The people very nice and friendly.

Camping Elizabeth is a beautiful campsite on the outskirts of Rethymno. The trees and bushes are very well maintained to provide shadow on the camping spots and also look great. The wash houses are simple but clean. There is a useful kitchen room and plenty of places to get drinking water from. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
