This is already my fourth stay at this hotel, and once again, everything has been perfect. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel staff for always considering my preferences and making sure I feel welcome. Hotel staff are friendly. Food is delicious and I can't wait to come again! The hotel is also 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing that I can comply is on the loud street noice that comes from the outside, late at night and on earling morning hours.

It is difficult to express my thoughts on this hotel. I will start with the positives. A good location . Friendly and helpful staff . Rooms were outdated , but clean , no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms , no iron in the room . And the food is where this hotel is really lacking . Room temperature at best. Over cooked, and if you have food allergies, it's a no-no .

This is a little beauty of a hotel. Quirky architecture. Really friendly. Right on the beach. The road outside is a bit of a challenge for pedestrians as it is a major easy west link for Rethymnon but once inside you are in a very nice place. Good accomodation for travellers. It offers studio apartments with small kitchen, toilet and shower. There're comfortable bed, wardrobe, air conditioner, sofa, small dining table with 2 chairs. Basic clean rooms, safe in room and aircon both payable at hotel. Sheets and towels changed every 3 days. Basic cooking facilities, no toaster. 10 minutes to main street for restaurants and bars etc but restaurants at bottom of street, less than 3 minutes walk away. Pool area very nice, snacks and drinks available at reasonable cost.

Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing. Staff were great, Maria, jack and Clarissa (who did try to teach us Greek) only did learn yamass 😄 pool area was quite, which we liked however think that was just with covid. Met lots of nice people during our stay. Will definitely be back for another visit.

WOW, just wow. Beautiful apartment walking distance to all amenities - shops, restaurants, bars. Free car park for those who hire a car to see the amazing island of Crete. Staff accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. I am disabled & I found the access for me, just perfect. If you are booking via 3rd party just a gentle reminder, Greece has a room tax which is sometimes not included with your package...

Vacationing with the family 4 persons in July-August 2014. We knew where we were going, so we are almost all satisfied at this place. Crete - this is not the place to go lie on the beach. Crete - this is not the place to go eat and plenty to eat. For this is Egypt, Turkey, Caribbean. Crete - it's a little of everything. Almost cheap hotel. Almost sandy beach. Quite tolerable food. Decent service....

Don't stay in room 268!! Right above the kitchen. So noisy in the mornings, kitchen extractor fan going off at 6.30am every morning. Crashing plates & cultlery for the whole of breakfast service. Also, right above the bar area. Staff not very friendly, no one on reception at times. Rooms were basic, but cleaned everyday.

We have stayed at the Trefon many times and are always welcomed like old friends. The hotel is very well managed, very well maintained and very clean.
