Overall, very good experience at Grecotel Creta Palace. As mentioned on some other comments, the rooms start to need a small refreshment. A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. Lovely experience from the hotel. clean bedrooms- with towels and daily cleaning to high standards Perfect beachside location, the private beach is delivery to a bed for drinks and snacks. Great spot if you plan on taking a ferry to santorini, its a 20 minute walk. Breakfast was nice here. Only downside was paper thin walls on the first floor, youll be able to hear your neighbors if they are loud!

It was about a 5-minute taxi ride from the bus station, we could use the beach in front, and our room was spacious and open, so we were able to relax. There was a pool inside the hotel, so we went for a swim to relax instead of getting a massage.

It is difficult to express my thoughts on this hotel. I will start with the positives. A good location . Friendly and helpful staff . Rooms were outdated , but clean , no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms , no iron in the room . And the food is where this hotel is really lacking . Room temperature at best. Over cooked, and if you have food allergies, it's a no-no .

Definately one of the best hotels in the Rethymno area. Very friendly and helpful staff. No street between the hotel and the beach and one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever seen. We had an amazing honeymoon stay at the Iperion Beach Hotel! We experienced genuine warmth and hospitality by the entire staff, the beachside location was absolutely stunning, and sipping piña coladas by the sea was pure bliss. I've stayed several times at the Odyssia Beach and I return because the staff are so welcoming and helpful, the location is on the beach with a superb beach bar and restaurant. The hotel was unprepared as neither of our two rooms were ready and instead we were put in a different room which was barely up to standard. The next day we were supposed to get our rooms after 10:00 but they have pushed back the time every time we asked. Just choose a different hotel.

Summer Dream was literally that! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning. The hotel is clear, the rooms are comfortable. Close to the beach and he tavernas. Near the old town and the port. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Cleaned daily, the towels changed every other day. The nearest free parking place at the harbour or the Monday's Farmer market.

Nice little hotel 5 minutes from the beach and ten minutes away from the center. Very polite and kind staff, always there for their customers, whatever information they require. Great location, big rooms, nice terrace.

Perfect location for beach and restaurants. Pinelopi was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We loved our room with the 2 balconies, which kept the room cool at night. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

I stayed in these apartments for two weeks at the beginning of June this year. I had never stayed here before but, as a regular visitor to Platanes, I had seen them in passing and thought they looked lovely. Best decision I ever made. The apartments are in a good quiet location in Platanias, very close to the beach and many restaurants. A bus stop is near by with a regular service to Rethymno. The apartments themselves fairly basic in terms of kitchen space and equipment but exceptionally clean . Surprisingly although not advertised breakfast is included!
