All seemed a bit dramatic, not bothering anyone and cleaning was done early morning and then water tested throughout the day when people were swimming. Nobody was near the breakfast area either

The other issue, room was lovely and new and staff were great. However, the lorry delivering linen pulled up directly outside our window each morning at 6. Sat for 10 mins before driving away

Lovely hotel, let down by 2 silly things. Firstly, nobody was allowed to use the pool until 10. Unclear why as breakfast was at 7. 30 so most people were out by 9

Hard to sleep through even with ear plugs. Surely this could have been down at 7. 30 onwards?! Breakfast was lovely

I can only wonder where they had found so friendly and helpful receptionist. We got help with the room and baggases, good restaurant recommendations, later check-out and always greetings and couple of nice words

The staff was so professional, kind, and friendly! Everything was beautiful- the rooms, the views- everything! The front desk people couldn't have been nicer. Oh, don't let me forget to mention the incredible food

The rooms are clean and cleaned every day. A special mention to our servers, Even and Margarita, who were exceptional. Kindness, helpfulness, generosity, and humor. They made sure we had a wonderful evening

I visited Rethymnon and chose the hotel because of full seeview and good location (next to beach and near old town restaurants and shopping options). We found out several other reasons to choose it during our visit

The spa services was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a pleasure to meet Evdokia (Spa Manager), Poppi and Konstantinos (Therapists) who provided an exceptional service

We had a Family Massage it was very relaxing recommended by Edvokia who is the Spa Manager. She was very helpful and friendly. The Therapist Konstantina is very professionell and I enjoyed my Massage and my facial a lot

Evdokia was lovely and friendly and spoke about the different types of treatments which were on offer - which were lots!! My therapist , Konstantinos was professional and made me feel very relaxed

The stay in the hotel was amazing and I really enjoyed getting a massage in the hotel spa. Evdokia is very friendly and helpen us with the booking. Dina did the massage and made me feel relaxed

Excellent trip! We were 7 days in paradise! The SPA was unbelievable, with Evdokia- the friendly , beautiful face at the reception, Dina and Constantinos at the massages

It was about a 5-minute taxi ride from the bus station, we could use the beach in front, and our room was spacious and open, so we were able to relax

We had a fantastic family Reunion here. The staff are super accommodating. The spa was a great treat, the pool fun to hang out and the food was delicious and varied.

A fantastic location with an expansive patio/pool complex, good restaurant/bar, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that speak English.

There was a pool inside the hotel, so we went for a swim to relax instead of getting a massage

2) the gym is very very small and equipement is incorrectly set up and out of order 3) the air conditioning was very finicky - had to press random setting combinations to get it working!

Everything is spotless, and having two pools is a big plus (though it’s a pity that loungers are often “reserved” with towels and left unused). The food is excellent with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner

The only downside was the number of mosquitoes – not the hotel’s fault, but keep doors and windows closed and ask reception for a mosquito device. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

After that one of her colleague/the staff members took our luggage and showed us the way to our room, and I wish I knew his name but unfortunately I don’t know it and really hope someone does

There are bikes available for rent at the front (not owned by the hotel), but activation can take a while, especially if your phone number isn’t accepted

The bathroom is open-style, which might not suit everyone – as two friends traveling together, it wasn’t always convenient

Unfortunately, there are also a few negative points: I'll start with the room we stayed in and the neighboring ones — the sound insulation is very poor; you can't get any rest at night, as it feels like the windows are always open (the rooms face back a road with constant traffic)

Finally, I’d like to mention that the adult pools close at 7:00 PM — exactly when it would be ideal to take a swim and enjoy the moment. This is incomprehensible to me

And one last thing: I didn't understand why there are no mosquito nets on the windows, especially considering the high number of mosquitoes

Then there's the metalic spiral staircase, which feels like you're climbing into an attic — very uncomfortable and undesirable

That being said, it is still a pleasant place, above the average offer in the area

We stayed at Grecotel Plaza Beach House for my birthday and had a fantastic time

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

The pool is very clean and nice, the only downside is that it is still accepted that antisocial people reserve beds with their towels. Those towels should be thrown in the pool

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

I did not stay at this hotel, just been to their beach and they got the most friendly and serviceminded staff at the beach. If possible, I would give 10 stars for their effort to make every guest feel good at the beach

Everything is dedicated to the guests. We never met such a gently and polite people which are oriented to the guests service. This is place with excellent beach, shop inside the property with a prices as in the city

Special big Thank to Georgios. We were met with a big smile every day, and they helped us with sunbeds, drinks and free water to make sure we did not dehydrate in the sun. I have no problems recommanding this place

It was our third stay in the hotel and we really enjoyed. A special thanks to the kind Sophia serving our cappuccino every evening. The massages in the hotel spa are also very good and the spa ladies are very nice

We saw here dancing and would love to see a Salsa Show in the evening entertainment of our hotel (maybe it's possible next year ?♡) We hope Nora will be here next year again!!!

The only thing that I can comply is on the loud street noice that comes from the outside, late at night and on earling morning hours

Food is delicious and I can't wait to come again! The hotel is also 5 minutes from the beach

Around 15min walk to the city beach,but the bus station is really near the hotel so you can go to that or any other beach. Of course the hotel would use some renovation,but for now we were satisfied with our stay

The only thing we were not satisfied with is that the last 2 days AC was really leaking,we've reported but one took any action,not even informed us if anyone is going to fix it

Delightful experience! The staff are so friendly and helpful! From the front desk, to the breakfast staff, housekeeping and laundry service, all were exceptional! The hotel has a lovely breakfast everyday with a wide variety of both hot and cold options, many of which are locally sourced

Cleaning and breakfast buffet staff were great! We had one miserable male night manager front desk person who seamed to be upset about us asking for more toilet paper and made me get it out of the lobby washroom

The evening patio dining and bar overlooked the ocean and although the menu was not as expansive, there were quite a lot of beverage options. The room we had was one of the suites, and met all of our needs

The food and drink was good, especially the included breakfast. We loved the location between Chania and Heraklion for sightseeing. The town of Rethymno was charming with good food and shopping

The breakfasts in particular were amazing, with a wide range of options and local food to try too, changing throughout the week so we really looked forward to what would be new each day

The housekeeping staff kept us well supplied with all amenities. The spa was wonderful as well. I enjoyed my 20% discount on my massage which was very enjoyable

Amazing brand new hotel.. With wonderful view of the city. Gorgeous pool on the 3rd floor Where the restaurant and the bar are. Bar is very well equipped.. The food on the restaurant was wonderful. Will visit again..

Sophia from reception was so lovely and helpful! The airline lost our luggage on the mainland, and she kindly offered to handle everything for us, calling the airline and organising for our luggage to be flown to us and we had our clothes by that night

The chef specifically made food for my fiance and I, as she was feeling lethargic and could not eat much. The waiters were all super respectful and reassured us if we needed anything to not hesitate to let them know

The maids come twice a day to clean and change towels and bedding. During our stay, my fiance who is pregnant, and I got sick. The staff automatically ran to help us with anything we needed

Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible

Menta City Boutique Hôtel is a very modern accommodation for everything you need. It has good energy and great staff. The breakfast was excellent! I highly recommend.

A few minutes walk from the old town (km. 1), clean, modern and friendly staff. Parking and wi-fi very useful. Excellent price (April period) mini apartment.

We stayed Bed and Breakfast and again I couldn’t fault the variety of foods that were on offer and these were replenished throughout the hours of breakfast 8:30-10:30. You were always greeted warmly and wished a nice day

hotel owner is present every morning and speaks a few words with her guests - also barmen and receptionist very entertaining and attentive, at the bar you can also order small things to eat during the day (very good!)

Location is perfect for restaurants, access to beach and Rethymno town. We hired a car for 4 days so we could explore further afield too. We would absolutely recommend Mary Hotel for a relaxed, comfortable holiday

Well what I can I say, we have just returned from spending a week at Mary Hotel and Mary Royal Suites and it was fantastic, so fantastic that I am seriously considering booking for next year

The apartments are clean, spacious and have everything you could want. If there is anything missing, which I highly doubt I’m sure if you asked at Reception they would find the item for you

Babis and Elena where great , very proffesional and Happy. The beach is great thanks to Demetrius the beach butler who kept us fed and watered The beach has a few pebbles so sea shoes a must

We had a fantastic time staying here for a week. Rooms very clean and modern a bit small though. Food Exellent , sunbed to die for so comfy. Staff very friendly and helpful

The spa was excellent (and a little expensive) and the view over the ocean relaxing. The beach was on the other side of a road, but that was not a problem as there was a 30 km/h speed limit and pedestrian crossing

It was a most lovely experience! We enjoyed ie very muched and booked a new visit to the spa immediately. We were totally relaxed!

22/06/2025 room 210 Was greeted with the warmest of welcome. Rooms very modern and clean Breakfast was fun with the staff, limited hot food which suited us, fresh fruit, yogurt and an arrangement of pastries

Over the road is the beach, free sun beds when you purchase a drink. Walk into the old town is a flat 20 minute stroll with bars and restaurants along the way

Rooms are fine stayed at a studio apartment, good breakfast, good location to the sea, good swimming pool, the refrigerator was meh, the freezer in it didn't work properly, but a very pleasant experience, would visit again🤩, can't wait for the gym to be ready💪💪 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

Because of the heat we paid a 7euro taxi there, and walked home, obviously trying all the bars on the way home 🥂 Are we returning, absolutely

Amazing stay bed very comfortable and pillows very clean and staff friendly cleaned every day and bed changed if required , small kitchen with microwave and fridge lovely shower room with large rain shower and you can put loo roll down the toilet whereas in some places you can’t

I had lots of excursions so only paid for breakfast and I only ate there a few times because I left so early for excursions. I had a kitchen and was self catering. The room was always cleaned and the bathroom too

The house is really huge and the roof garden is lovely. It is located in the centre of the Old Town, very close to the beach. We recommend this place!

Superbe Hotel in the centre of the Old historic part of the city. Our room had its own private Hammam. A wonderful surprise

Super cozy hotel, perfect location in the middle of the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was not super special, but fine. The room was great, super nice bed (slept like a baby), AC was working again

The location was perfect for wandering in and out of town and the service was impeccable, especially during breakfast. Nothing was ever too much trouble even when our flight was late and we didn't check in till 2 am

Amazing service and kindness ! Great breakfast and superb location. There is an intense smell in the room from the building so maybe that could be fixed somehow and beds were little too hard for our preferences

What an amazing stay - we have just returned from a two day break at the bellagio and I couldnt have been more impressed
