Georgia and Eirini in particular. The entertainment was mostly good and suited our boys. The kids pool wasn't huge and slides basic, but just right for us, we often had whole pool to ourselves

This is my 4th visit to Creta Palace, my husband went many times, throughout his teens and early adulthood. We have two children, at the time of travel were 5 and 8. We have visited Creta Palace in 2022, 2023 and 2025

So friendly, professional and immaculate. You are never left waiting and nothing is a problem. The food has always been very good but improved in 2025

There was 12 of us 6 adults and 6 children acomadtion food and service was excellent will go back again . Only 1 hr drive from the airport lovly town only 15 mins taxi drive

A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. Location on main road not seafront so some road noise

(Though we went to the wrong hotel on arrival and they said we could use their underground car park for €7 a day)

We mostly lived out of a suitcase. The view was OK but not exciting. Very very noisy from the main road. The food was hit and miss, and not that good. As for the entertainment in the evening I would give it a miss

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the reception team, who were always ready to assist with a smile

We had a wonderful stay at Minos Hotel in Crete! From the moment we arrived, we was warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach, with an approximate 30-40 minute flat walk to the old town of Rethymnon

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Breakfast was second to none and definitely 5 star. bedrooms well equipped and spotless excellent shower and comfy beds

The hotel enjoys a very convenient location - just a short walk to some excellent cocktail bars (special mention to Bora Bora), yet pleasantly set away from the busy crowds. The staff are warm, attentive, and welcoming

Alternatively you can use the local bus or taxis available from outside the hotel. The hotel is kept clean and tidy. The rooms and beds are comfortable and we slept really well

Cons: The hotel looks good and modern, but the rooms are quite strange. Ours was a micro-room, really small with a tiny balcony which was supposed to be a double room

The rooms are very clean though kind of small but definitely enough. The food was delicious but not much of Greece culture. Since it was very packed the restaurant was kind of loud

I have never experienced such a good food offering in a hotel before and could not find a single item that I disliked. I definitely plan on coming back and fully recommend it

All in all it's definitely recommendable and good in price Quality

Booked the hotel for a 7 days period. Pros: The staff is amazing, really helpful and there when you need. The food is really good, lots of choices and themes across the week. They have music nights every 2 days

The location is also very good, right by the sea, opposite the beach is nice, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, the children had a lot of fun playing in the water

Wonderful hotel in good location. Just a short walk to the old town for shopping, dinning, etc.

The walk into the old town is about 20ish minutes and again some fantastic restaurants and cocktail bars. The one at the start of the harbour was very good. The restaurants do prefer cash but will take card

The included breakfast in the restaurant is good and we chose to eat there two evenings too to pay for dinner and that was also great and well priced

Don’t expect thrills but if you want a clean hotel with exceptional staff then give it a try. A special mention to Anna on reception. If you want any advice on what to do and see while you’re there then she is your lady

The pools were great, some reviews complain about finding a sunbed but we did not find this to be the case, perhaps it depends on other guests. At the beginning of our stay the sunbeds by the main pool were taken by 7

We had a wonderful week at this hotel. Room was good with a lovely sea view. In particular Michalis who greeted us when we arrived was very helpful and welcoming. Great location with the beach just across the road

My stay at Grecotel Plaza Beach House was outstanding. The staff was extremely welcoming, and looked after me during all my stay. Maria and Vassiliki that offered hospitality at the first place

I highly recommend this hotel as it offers privacy, hospitality at the highest place and also the location of the hotel is very close to the central square of Rethymnon

As far as the breakfast is concerned, it was full of very nice choices and the staff there was very approachable as well and took care of me

Maybe they can work on small bits, especially because they said they're a 4* hotel: water in the rooms (on arrival and maybe during the stay), a bit more breakfast options, more diverse TV channels, coffee machines upgrades

Beds were very comfortable and quite large. Service: staff and management were very nice and attentive. Maybe 2-3 bottles with water in the room on arrival will be nice for a 4* hotel. Pool: spacious enough and clean

Pool and beach area very nicely done, comfortable sun loungers. Few local taverns that were good if you don’t fancy the walk into town. We needed a relaxing break and everything was very easygoing

Lunch and dinner menue also very good. We also tried the spa and the massage was exellent. We are looking forward to visit the Iperion Beach Hotel again sooner or later

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

The pool is very clean and nice, the only downside is that it is still accepted that antisocial people reserve beds with their towels. Those towels should be thrown in the pool

It has a parking nearby so it's also not an issue if you come with a car and plan to do some road trips. Hotel itself is clean, rooms are well fitted and nothing stands in a way for you to have a perfect vacation

Quiet property. No front desk but the owner is accessible via text. Location is great, in the old town but on a quiet street.

Great hotel, lovely room with nice bathroom, lovely courtyard with a pool which is often protected from the sun for a drink, a rooftop with chairs for sunbathing, a kitchen well stocked and lovely staff

We stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for a couple days. We had a great time! Location is amazing, right in the old city with great romantic atmosphere of narrow streets and cozy places

We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks at the summer dream hotel in Rethymno, after initially been given a room which was a little noisy Nitsa moved us without any hassle, I must say there was nothing wrong with the first room, I’m sure many would enjoy the balcony overlooking a buzzing street but we like quiet, the rooms are clean modern and the hotel and staff couldn’t be more friendly, the room...

I had a superior double room, basically a 44m2 apartment and it was very nice, looked great, modern with everything you need even a washing machine. Touch panels to control lights and AC, very nice bathroom

Always there to answer your questions and offer advice - Excellent breakfast with Cretan/Greek specialties, fresh orange juice on top of your regular continental breakfast options. CONS: Not much to complain about

The washroom is a bit small and gets wet when you shower but that wasn't a big deal for us. Highly recommend Crete and this gem of a hotel

I cant say enough good things about my stay at Astali Hotel. Everyone working there is so incredibly nice and everything you need is right around the corner

What a lovely find! The whole experience centres on 5* staff and the family who own the hotel. Perfect location, perfect price and a casual (which requires hard work) feel so that you can settle wherever you fancy

The place is spotless, the people who work there are awesome and they give a great free breakfast considering the price point

Every morning the cleaning was done but it was done to such a standard that was literally Immaculate, hats off to the cleaners because this absolute gem is pristine. The breakfast was lovely and everything was so fresh

There's a good supermarket adjacent to the hotel and the hotel is located one street behind the seafront, meaning it's in a quieter environment than on the ***** where all the bars and restaurants are located

Stayed here whilst attending a family wedding at Agreco Farm recently. What a find! The apartment (210) was spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped, the air conditioning was incredibly efficient too

The reception staff handed us a large bottle of water on arrival to take to our room, a very welcome treat after a day's travel in the heat

Mixed Good location outside of town. Parking in gravel lot down the street not bad. Short walk and a bit dangerous for unloading luggage in front of hotel in traffic

Everything else worked, but the noise from the traffic on the adjacent road was disturbing. The great sea view and large balcony were a plus. Good breakfast and nice hostess.

There are toilets and a shower available at the hotel when you are on the beach or terrace, which saves you having to go back to your room. Rethymno old town about 25 mins walk

I stayed in these apartments for two weeks at the beginning of June this year. I had never stayed here before but, as a regular visitor to Platanes, I had seen them in passing and thought they looked lovely

Excellent staff but the air-conditioning was totally unpleasant. Especially with such a hot weather a good air-conditioning is always a must. fully disappointed by that factor

Large common areas were perfect for working. You have to walk to the sea, the historic center, or the bus station, but it's all within walking distance. There's a great supermarket across the street

There was a kettle, hot water, comfortable beds, and excellent value for money. A photo from the bed was on the TV. There's a school across the street, and kids play and make noise during the day
