It was an amazing experience, the people are really nice. The treatements do wonders. I got helped so well by Evdokia and found what suited me, and got my amazing massages from Ioanna. When I come back to Rethimno I Will come here again.

Staying at the hotel for the second time we realized that is still a great hotel with some ups and downs. Ups: Service, location, pool, spacious room with kitchen and very friendly staff. Downs: The spa treatment are too expensive ( double the price of a regular treatment), coffee at breakfast is a disappointment and the beds are rather soft. Still worth going there but be aware of the downs.

We had a pleasant stay here. The location is excellent — just far enough from the noisy seafront to be peaceful, yet only a short walk to the beach and the old town. They also have a beach area. The pool area is cozy and inviting, and everything was generally clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, which is not always a given in Crete. Visited the spa twice on my holiday. Totally relaxed experience, hubby even enjoyed the peace and quiet. The newSpa facilities are wonderful. Will go again. Evdokia explained everything well. I loved staying at Barbara Studios! My studio was so cute and comfortable and I had a lovely view from my balcony. Iro was so sweet to provide maps and recommendations of places to eat. The location was perfect! I hated to leave.

I booked for a room without balcony (with view) but I ended up with a twin bed situation not a double bed. The lady went to the extra trouble of getting a double room with balcony at no extra charge. God bless those few angels who walk among us.

Well located but felt more like a hostel. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Overall it was ‘fine’, but we were disappointed as we expected better from the photos. Great location near the lively side of town but still quiet in the room. We didn’t have a balcony so the room was quite dark and dingy. The lights flickered so we couldn’t leave them on. Roof top access was quite cool in the evening. Self check in was seamless. We stayed here for a fortnight between August 1st and 15th 2025. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, very decent rooms (beds are made daily except Sundays as are fresh towels). Great location, just across the street from the beautiful sandy beach. The pool is bigger than what it seems in the pictures. We were in a comfortable 2-bedroom apartment, furnished with everything you need and lots of windows and two balconies. Just be aware that the price on trip.com does not include the the a/c. Ileas and his family are very friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you!

We had a very nice flat with sea view and lots of space. It was all very quiet and pleasant. The nice restaurants and the old town were within easy walking distance. The room was very clean .The hosts had cake for us ,which was very nice ,thank you.No complaints about the propertyat all One thing I would like to mention though was ,there were 3 adults and we only had the one key to share amongst us, which made it a little difficult if one wanted to stay out later or go out .Mr Giannis was very detailed in his messages about where to park,which was VERY helpful...

The location, in the heart of old town, the room was very clean and tidy, the owner was super nice. A small fridge and nice bathroom. Below the hotel there ws s gyros place, which was nice. Walking distance to harbour, fortress of Rethymno, 10 min walk to the beach. Perfect for a 3 days stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Polyxenia Suites! Giannis was such a kind and gracious host. He was very flexible with us and always quick to respond. We loved the personal touches: delicious coffee and homemade wine and cake from his mother and family. The view of the city is beautiful and the AC was a life saver. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation in Crete and look forward to staying...

Great location in old town. Walkable to all attractions, restaurants and shopping. Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the city and great mosque. Our host is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hospitality was fantastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the area is great! Parking was a bit tough, but that goes with staying in such a great location.
