A large hotel with usual facilities. Room was fine, though shower needs improvement as it wets the bathroom floor. Good choice of breakfast items. Location on main road not seafront so some road noise. No parking. (Though we went to the wrong hotel on arrival and they said we could use their underground car park for €7 a day).

Charged an extra 30 Euro above stated 70 Euros because of the type of room we had booked. The room was not that brilliant. A large bed but very little space to put your clothing for a 10 day stay. It is difficult to express my thoughts on this hotel. I will start with the positives. A good location . Friendly and helpful staff . Rooms were outdated , but clean , no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms , no iron in the room . And the food is where this hotel is really lacking . Room temperature at best. Over cooked, and if you have food allergies, it's a no-no .

Definately one of the best hotels in the Rethymno area. Very friendly and helpful staff. No street between the hotel and the beach and one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever seen. We had an amazing honeymoon stay at the Iperion Beach Hotel! We experienced genuine warmth and hospitality by the entire staff, the beachside location was absolutely stunning, and sipping piña coladas by the sea was pure bliss. Loved this place!! Wanted to stay longer. The service was amazing and our host was TOO kind. He carried out suitcases, got us a cab, gave plenty of directions and recommendations. We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. Hotel is clean and good quality. The woman at the reception was super nice. It is a small 10 minute walk to the old town restaurant and party area, but the walk is nice and at the beach. I’m the night it is quiet and a pool and aircondition helps to cool down. Worth the money :)

Got a last minute deal to rethymno booked this hotel thought it looked a bit iffy due to its two star rating. First off the staff is absolutely wonderful!! The view is AMAZING! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfy, the fridge has ample space for leftovers and lots of drinks and even enough room in the freezer for a bag of ice! The hotel is great regarding the pool, the views, the beach access. The bedroom have a great dimension but the structure do not block the noise - namely during the night. So, the night experience wasn't the best. Avoid the rooms in the reception floor.

Nice hotel if you want to relax in calm and clean appartment with pool, near to the beach and restaurants. In thr center of small place with some shops, 15 min by bus to the Rethymno. I love Crete ❤️

The hotel is a good choice for moderate comfortable and calm vacation. Apartments include needed commodities: WiFi, conditioner and small kitchen with cutlery. Rooms are cleaning every day. Personnel is assistant and attentive. Breakfasts are good and suitable to eat according to the plate rule. There is a swimming pool. The beach is about 5 minutes by foot. There are lot of cafes, restaurants, shops...

It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with a very good location and with nice staff. Our room and the hotel was clean, altough the furnitures in the rooms are old. For me the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, and the bed was noisy, but it's totally worth it for the price. In my opinion the breakfast was not very tasty, the eggs and the cold meals (salami etc) were not good, the coffe from the machine is bad. So...

A very reasonably price establishment but excellent value for money in a superb central location. A small room but totally functional. Everything you need for a 1 night a short stay. A lovely hot shower. Comfortable bed. Safe, coffee machine. Ice cold Air con. And a lovely sea view. Room 16. Easy checkin. 100% recommended.

with a very cozy and clean room , it had everything we needed , we loved how convenient it was to move around. It has the cutest balcony and is accessible to everything around town . The staf was aslo very helpful! Totally recommend and we would love to stay again!!

Fantastic hotel in the old city. Walk to minute and you are in the city. Clean and comfortable beds. Hotel staff was there for you. Beautiful renovation, all you needed was in the room. Did not have a sea view but still a great room. Delicious cake and coffee in the front desk

We stayed here for two nights. The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron. Wifi was great. One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby.
