Beautiful place! Staff was very friendly! Rooms were cleaned everyday, and at night house keeping would come in and see if you needed more waters or towels. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because breakfast was the same thing everyday, I stayed there for 11 nights, and after a few days I got tired of eating the same thing. The staff was very friendly and the yoga teacher was excellent. The property is beautiful and the restaurant is very good. We were disappointed in the private outdoor hot tub because it really wasn't private. Also, the shower in our room only had a 1/2 wall enclosure so the floor was very wet when we used the shower. Summer Dream was literally that! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Although we were not guests of the hotel, Panos welcomed us with such kindness and hospitality. By ordering drinks, we were allowed to use the wonderful sunbeds on the beach. Everything was very friendly and relaxed –thank you Panos and the whole team!

First off the staff is absolutely wonderful!! The view is AMAZING! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfy, the fridge has ample space for leftovers and lots of drinks and even enough room in the freezer for a bag of ice! The hotel is great regarding the pool, the views, the beach access. The bedroom have a great dimension but the structure do not block the noise - namely during the night. So, the night experience wasn't the best. Avoid the rooms in the reception floor.

We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. A very reasonably price establishment but excellent value for money in a superb central location. A small room but totally functional. Everything you need for a 1 night a short stay. A lovely hot shower. Comfortable bed. Safe, coffee machine. Ice cold Air con. And a lovely sea view. Room 16. Easy checkin. 100% recommended.

with a very cozy and clean room , it had everything we needed , we loved how convenient it was to move around. It has the cutest balcony and is accessible to everything around town . The staf was aslo very helpful! Totally recommend and we would love to stay again!!

Fantastic hotel in the old city. Walk to minute and you are in the city. Clean and comfortable beds. Hotel staff was there for you. Beautiful renovation, all you needed was in the room. Did not have a sea view but still a great room. Delicious cake and coffee in the front desk

We stayed here for two nights. The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron. Wifi was great. One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby.

I don’t have any negative comments at all. The host/owner is super friendly and also very accommodating. Hey, go and spend double and treble the price, that is your choice, but when you consider you are out most of the day and night anyway, why would you! For me anyway, a perfect stay and location.

The apartments at Hotel Elida are run by a friendly and welcoming family who always take the time to have a chat & give advice on places to visit in the local area. They're clean & all have their own balcony overlooking the pool. There's parking outside for some cars, though the road is very narrow, so only one vehicle wide. It's fairly quiet, with little noise from the main strip, just the sounds...

Nice family/ host! Appartement with balcony and adequate equipment. Near to Pavlos beach, tavernas and supermarkets. We will come again!

Great location for my journey. Property is very close to the beach. Lots of dining options close by. Parking can be a pain but host goes out.of his way to be accommodating. Laneway to accommodation is very narrow for cars.

Peaceful, relaxing, close to beach in one direction, close to shops, restaurants & supermarkets in the other. Owners friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.
