They have a kettle and a coffee filter - here, maybe they can upgrade to a more modern coffee machine (like the ones with pods), cutlery and plates. So if you want to cook small dishes, maybe is enough
Beds were very comfortable and quite large. Service: staff and management were very nice and attentive. Maybe 2-3 bottles with water in the room on arrival will be nice for a 4* hotel. Pool: spacious enough and clean
We had a medium fridge, good enough to keep some food to eat in the room and few bottles of water. They even have an electric stove, one frying pan and medium saucepan, but we never used
Service is great, the room service girls will help cater to your needs. Thank you everyone at Archipelagos Residence for making my stay in Rethymno wonderful & contributing to my impressive photo collection
An excellent hotel with very spacious rooms. The hotel is situated on a hillside with 3 separate lifts. The hotel has a small beach directly in front over the road which is really nice.
We enjoyed our Rethymno holiday on Archipelagos Hotel. Location: 10-15 minutes walk from Rethymno Old Town (main area to hang around in Rethymno. Room: quite modern, spacious and cleaned every day

The breakfasts were amazing and we felt thoroughly spoilt!
The pool although small was so refreshing in the heat of the day, and the courtyard a lovely place to relax amongst the pretty flowers and plants
A great hotel in a perfect location. The owner was very helpful and showed us places to visit. The room was beautiful and traditional. The breakfast was varied and very nice. Would definitely recommend
The hotel exceeded our expectations. Comfy beds. Room cleaned regularly. Staff helpful. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely restaurant attached to hotel.
The room was very nice and clean. The staff was also very friendly and had good hints for eating out. Breakfast was a god variety and yummy.
The hotel is very clean and in the center of Rethymno.
You gonna go Everywhere by foot. All the staff was very helpful and polite. Make sure you check out the hotel restaurant as well!!
Excellent location in the Old Town. Came in the winter so it was too cold to sit out in the courtyard, but it looked cozy.
Rethymno, 16 Melisinou Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The pool area was small but you could always get a sunbed. Half of the pool area had shade which suited some guest but we always manage to find a sunny spot. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice for everyone
We had been booked into a standard room with EasyJet which would have been at the front of the hotel without a balcony. The staff were really friendly and helpful at the front desk if you needed them
Lovely pool, really quite warm and refreshing and you can have towels if you require them. Rooms as standard in Greece, but very very clean! Really fantastic little hotel and I would stay again in a heartbeat
We stayed at the Fortezza Hotel in early September. We were looking forward to going as we had read some brilliant reviews. We arrived late evening and was quickly checked in and shown to our room
Fantastic hotel in a great location, all the staff were terrific. My only criticism would be the bathroom in my room, poorly fitted shower head, and when you had a shower then water came back up through the drain in floor
2 minutes walk to amazing restaurants down little cobbled streets Also a 5 minute walk to the harbour with wonderful restaurants. There was so many restaurants you would need to stay for a year to visit them all
Rethymno, Moatsou & Daskalaki St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The breakfast is fine, the staff is nice,if you want to be close to the city centre this is the hotel for you
This is already my fourth stay at this hotel, and once again, everything has been perfect. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel staff for always considering my preferences and making sure I feel welcome
Very thoughtful and kind staff!
Correspondive, kind reception!
Breakfast is just amazing, full of variety and plenty of food!!
Location 10/10.
Fabulous hotel.
I can't thank the team enough for always being there to help with beach recommendations depending on the wind, transportation tips, and any questions we had
The hotel could use a bit of renovation, but its location—and above all, the kind and attentive staff—more than make up for any shortcomings
The only thing that I can comply is on the loud street noice that comes from the outside, late at night and on earling morning hours
Rethymno, 42, Themistokli Moatsou Str. (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Large common areas were perfect for working. You have to walk to the sea, the historic center, or the bus station, but it's all within walking distance. There's a great supermarket across the street
This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in Greece. Very beautiful design of the room, clean, and with a bathtub. Friendly hotel receptionist. I will definitely stay here again if I visit rethymnon.
There was a kettle, hot water, comfortable beds, and excellent value for money. A photo from the bed was on the TV. There's a school across the street, and kids play and make noise during the day
Very basic for an all guys trip. Somewhat run down. Parking is a challenge. But if you don’t plan to spend time in your room or in the hotel, it is ok. Centrally located.
The hotel is centrally located, just a 10-minute walk from both the historic center and the beach, making it an ideal spot for exploring the area
I was able to book a room for one night very quickly , the staff was super friendly and willing to help with everything we needed. Considering the price , it was very good for its value
Rethymno, Nikolaou Plastiras 4 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A very reasonably price establishment but excellent value for money in a superb central location. A small room but totally functional. Everything you need for a 1 night a short stay
Fantastic hotel in the old city. Walk to minute and you are in the city. Hotel staff was there for you. Beautiful renovation, all you needed was in the room. Did not have a sea view but still a great room
One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby
with a very cozy and clean room , it had everything we needed , we loved how convenient it was to move around. It has the cutest balcony and is accessible to everything around town
The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron
The staf was aslo very helpful! Totally recommend and we would love to stay again!!
Rethymno, Vafe 2 - 4 & Arkadiou Str. (in the centre) 🧭 Map
No words could describe this wonderful building with is historic charm. Central to restaurants and tour operators. Originally her childhood family home, Helen now manages the property and is a delight to talk to
Lovely hotel in the historic centre of town. The room was historic and was quiet at night. Hotel staff were helpful in providing a few parking options and we were lucky to get a spot quite nearby.
I have additional info for those who are inexperienced or ignorant travellers - The Venitian buildings were not built with pools or underground parking. Live with it and stop whining. You aren't back home with your mommy
We slept here for 2 days as a couple and I thinks it’s a great location in this beautiful city. Also, the bar is directly located in the hotel and we had a funny night with flavoured Raki & Richard who works on the bar
I have been traveling for several weeks and was hoping to rejuvenate here; I was able to do so and leave feeling fully refreshed and ready for new adventures. Thank you again for such a lovely stay!
Amazing experience very beautiful and historical building. The location is the most convenient anyone can find.
Ms Eleni was so friendly and helpful😌 definitely going back
Always there to answer your questions and offer advice - Excellent breakfast with Cretan/Greek specialties, fresh orange juice on top of your regular continental breakfast options. CONS: Not much to complain about
A lovely small family hotel that clearly care about their guests and go out of their way to help. The room was clean, tidy and more than functional with a balcony overlooking the front
Being close to the beach, shops and restaurants, with the old town about a 10 -15 minute walk away and the local bus station a little further, it’s well situated
I cant say enough good things about my stay at Astali Hotel. Everyone working there is so incredibly nice and everything you need is right around the corner
The washroom is a bit small and gets wet when you shower but that wasn't a big deal for us. Highly recommend Crete and this gem of a hotel
They made my stay in Rethymno very memorable and if I ever come back ill be staying at Astali Hotel again
Rethymno, Albert Schweitzer 2 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice little hotel 5 minutes from the beach and ten minutes away from the center. Very polite and kind staff, always there for their customers, whatever information they require. Great location, big rooms, nice terrace.
Very good small hotel spacious rooms 2 mins from the beach and 10 minutes walk to centre city highly recommended
The hotel is clear, the rooms are comfortable. Close to the beach and he tavernas. Near the old town and the port. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Cleaned daily, the towels changed every other day
Everything was spotless and very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place without hesitation. You can book it with your eyes closed and be sure you’ll have a fantastic experience!
The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and beautifully designed in a clean, minimal style. The staff was excellent: kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made us feel truly welcome
Cleaned and disinfected every day. Towels and bed sheets changed every two days. Staff is the kindest ever, and the hotel position can't be better.
Rethymno, Moatsou & Prevelaki (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Location was perfect for us because it's close to the town center - perfect for a late night walk, also close to the beach (15min walk distance)
People working there will go above and beyond to help you. The breakfast is really nice and filling, the view from the breakfast room is breathtaking. Rooms were spacious and clean
Really near the hospital ( never know when you will need one), supermarkets, pharmacies and Rethimno's garden-park. Don't even think about it twice, just go there!!
Great place to stay, good location, rooms are very nice, beautiful view from the roof top. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Location was the best thing about this hotel. Next to the old town but not inside, so no drunken people nor cockroaches 😅

Modern design
Waterkettle and coffee in the room
20 m to next Very good Bakery
Downtown starts here
Day parking for 5 EUR accross the road on public parking ground
Balkony to the green (park opposite)
modern and super friendly staff with great AC, bathroom, comfy beds and amazing staff!
It has a parking nearby so it's also not an issue if you come with a car and plan to do some road trips. Hotel itself is clean, rooms are well fitted and nothing stands in a way for you to have a perfect vacation
Quiet property. No front desk but the owner is accessible via text. Location is great, in the old town but on a quiet street.
Great hotel, lovely room with nice bathroom, lovely courtyard with a pool which is often protected from the sun for a drink, a rooftop with chairs for sunbathing, a kitchen well stocked and lovely staff
We stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for a couple days. We had a great time! Location is amazing, right in the old city with great romantic atmosphere of narrow streets and cozy places
We loved our one night stay and wish we had more time to stay another night
Rethymno, 48, Nikiforou Foka Str (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There is a table and chairs where it is pleasant to eat breakfast or you can go up to the roof and dine there in the sun. There is also a folding contraption that you can use to dry your towels or clothes
Fantastic location, quiet & gorgeous room & beautiful building so full of character & charm. Evie Thankyou for all your helpful advice & hospitality. Lots of shops for breakfast, lunch & dinner
Evi was so helpful with places to visit and spent ages telling us about beaches and restaurants to visit. We had an amazing time , The hotel is so central and vang in the middle of town , near so many bars and shops.
No lifts because it’s a renovated historic building so charming & , it has only 2 levels so it was ok & she offers to help carry bags up too. Wonderful bed, king size so comfy nice & quite too
The best stay! Used to 4/5-star accommodations and was a little nervous the rooms wouldn’t be on that level, but the whole stay felt like a sweet local old town experience
The shower, toilet and sink are all in separate areas. The shower is large and very good. It is totally enclosed so there is no risk of water getting on the floor of the room
There is street parking along the seafront but it's unlikely you'll get something less than 5 or 10 mins walk away. I parked in the pay parking which was around eighteen euros overnight
Perfect location to wander around the old town and also along the new harbour to the bars. The room was perfect for a 1 night stay. Good shower, kettle and fridge. 2 small complimentary bottles of water too.
Super clean and as good as new. Good washing and shower facilities. Air conditioning works very well. There could be a set of cutlery and a plate and a large bottle of water instead of two mini bottles
Great overnight stop
Lovely room booked for an overnight stay in town. Excellent location but worth noting that suite with terrace didn't have a sea view as described, it had no view at all
Confusing part was getting the key, which you get from an alternate Ink location. This was not notified in the reservation detail and I only found out because one of the guests told me
Hotel is in the heart of Chania tourist area. Small room but it had a small bed higher up, accessible by a small ladder. Finding the place was tricky as few Ink's in the area
Rethymno, Arkadiou 159 - Eleftheriou Venizelou 45 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room was very clean and spacey and the location was amazing, right in the center of the old town and walking distance from anything you may need
Location is perfect, almost in the center of old town ( we' ve got the map of the city and instructions where we need to go to launch, rent a car, buy a souvenirs and many other things ) , near the port of Venice and city fortress, beach is also near, around 500 - 600 hundred meters
I highly recommend this accommodation!!! The room me and my friends stayed in was extremely clean and well equipped. There was a cute little balcony looking to the old town that we really appreciated as well
Wonderful little hotel with nice sea front view if you get a room in that direction. Super central location, excellent value for money and friendly staff
The only downside is that you have to climb several flights of stairs to go to the rooms, since all the buildings in the old town were built that way, but the host is extremely nice and friendly and will not hesitate to help you with your suitcases
I have not had a chance to visit Sefront Old Town apartment, nevertheless, I decided to leave a 5-star rating. This is because one month before my planned stay, some unexpected family problems occurred

The wine on arrival was a great touch. Breakfast was delicious and a great variety! Thankyou so much for our lovely experience, myself and my mam will be back without a doubt! ❤️
Very great rooms - a bit to hard beds for me (my taste) - the best Intercontinental breakfast we Had this Journey, but fresh orange Juice Had to pay extra. Lovely Service!
Me and my mam are sadly leaving this beautiful hotel tomorrow. What can I say other than exceptional!? Such an amazing experience in this fabulous hotel
The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, every single one friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond. Rooms are perfect, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need
Good for couples
Great location and exceptionally friendly staff , large rooms with kitchen and balcony, we will definitely stay here again
This was one of my favorite hotels during my trip and I only wish I booked it for longer. They even gave me a free gift when I checked in.
An excellent choice! Located in the old town, near the sea. Clean and well kept place. Highly recommended.
My only bad experience was partly my fault, in that I hadn't closed the doors to the balcony, and I was right above the "boardwalk", and a couple of gals talking loudly, woke me up at 4 a
The hotel has a restaurant and they serve breakfast ko and it was so delicious. It’s so close to shopping and walkable to attractions. The receptionist and the waitress were very friendly. I definitely going back.
We stayed at Civitas for 9 days and it was a wonderful experience. The location in Old Town
Was the Best!
We can’t say enough about the Staff, they were all so welcoming and helpful we really felt at home here
Just need to decide when I'll be back!
The hotel is easily accesible to all the key sights in Rethymno town and has very friendly and helpful staff who are happy to ensure you have the best stay possible
Our breakfast was amazing lovely area to enjoy the morning as well beautiful view of the harbour. If you don’t like stairs than I would recommend one of the apartments that are all on one level
Very friendly and helpful (for example they gave scales for luggage) staff, clean rooms, breakfast plentiful. Although with open windows a lot of noise seeps in from the street and the pool is small and shady
We stayed for 2 nights. It was a perfect location to the old town. Tons of reaturants and little markets.
It is what the 3 stars indicate. Advantages: Central, you can do everything on foot. The room is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen
I think it is an honest accommodation proposal depending on the surrounding hotels and its price is reasonable in relation to the prices available. What impressed me is that quite a few locals were staying
It had everything I needed, the staff were wonderful special thanks to Alex and Genny on reception so helpful also my cleaner, room cleaned every day, bedding and towels changed every couple of days
They all went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable and safe. The only downside was the traffic noise due to the location on a busy junction but I adapted after a couple of nights

If your kind of holiday is staying in an ultra modern hotel, sitting around a pool all day, missing the local sights, then this hotel is not for you, but if you want to stay in a lovely, clean hotel with character I would not hesitate to recommend
I booked for a room without balcony (with view) but I ended up with a twin bed situation not a double bed. The lady went to the extra trouble of getting a double room with balcony at no extra charge
That's good service! The room was clean, functional, quiet & had a view of the Venetian harbour & lighthouse, which at night was lit up with fairy lights
God bless those few angels who walk among us
Great location, clean rooms, views from the balcony and rooftop are amazing!
There was a lovely young man on the desk of an afternoon. he opened the door of my room every day, often unprompted, because he knew I had difficulties with the key
