After 20 minutes of explanations, we were given the keys to the room.
The room was completely different from the booking photo for the worse. The hotel needs renovation.
There were ants in our bathroom.
No towels for the beach.
The cleaning service was every day, but not good. After it we have the sand on the floor.
The breakfast was bad-there's no point in buying it. If you don't eat sausage, your breakfast will consist of bread, nutella and Greek yogurt. It is impossible to eat every day.
There is a very noisy street near the hotel, so you need to sleep either in birushas or with the door closed. You'll have to adjust the air conditioner so that you don't get sick and that the air comes in.
The only thing I liked was the proximity to the city. Cafes and restaurants can be reached quickly.
Rooms were spacious and clean.
Location was the best thing about this hotel. Next to the old town but not inside, so no drunken people nor cockroaches 😅. Really near the hospital ( never know when you will need one), supermarkets, pharmacies and Rethimno's garden-park.
Don't even think about it twice, just go there!!
