4 star hotels in Hungary

We were there in low season midweek. The hotel has been recently renovated, everything, including the spa and thermal facilities, was new, modern, clean and well working. We could relax and recharge our batteries completely. The thermal water was excellent, the food was good and the price/quality ratio was also good.

Hotel infrastructure need some new investments. The swimming pool and spa are ok. Hotel stuff need to learn some english words.

The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms. The pool was okay, but really nothing special and the bubble bath and all other water amenities were out of order. Spa complex equipped with two working spa-rooms. Dinner is like in a regular school diner, nothing bad, but easy to forget. Breakfast...

The hotel is in a strategic position to get around the city both on foot and by public transport (including the 100E bus to the airport). The hotel is clean and tidy, with plenty of food in the small refrigerator. The location is convenient and the transportation is close to the subway station. You can walk to nearby attractions. The facilities are complete, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The towels and toothbrushes are average.

The rooms are clean, they could probably have undergone at most a partial renovation compared to the lobby and the restaurant area. Private closed parking. This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative. The playhouse, the sauna, the inside pool, the trampolin park, the playground, the menu selection, the game room all 5*. A huge thank you!

Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier. The rooms definitely are on the older side. Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility...

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Just visited relatives and had a dinner, but as I saw the hotel is perfect for families with kids. The room could be a little bigger. The food is at the highest level.

I was looking forward to this trip but unfortunately the hotel did not meet the expectations. The rooms were nice but the swimming pools were really dirty and full of dead skin. I was there for a business trip and forgot my iPad in the room after I checked out. They delivered it to the office. That’s 5 star service! Everything else - rooms/ breakfast/ general service as well was perfect.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

A reasonably priced hotel, clean rooms, very good food, several pools with different water temperatures, beautiful surroundings for cycling, located not far from the Slovenian border. There are various health offers. German is spoken.

We spent only a night in this hotel, it was great. We needed a quiet hotel with sauna near to our home. The receptionist speak good german, the food was delecious, and the coctails excellent. There are 2 rooms for children, both of it are on the ground floor, far from the guestsrooms.

We had a great stay at the Ikonik Parlament in Budapest! The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is very well located (close to Metro Line 3). The service was also great; Sofia was especially helpful and suggested lots of cool things to do around Budapest. The hotel also offers free coffee and tea all day, which was a wonderful surprise. Centrally located in Pest, ,quiet, modern, stylish, clean with helpful and efficient staff. Good size room overlooking quiet central.courtyard. Good breakfast covering all tastes at very reasonable price. 24- hour self-service refreshments lounge on ground floor. Overall a haven of tranquillity right in the city centre.

Close to the metro station, and walking distance to the central city. The room had facilities if you wish to buy your own food to heat up. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s good location if you don’t want to be in the huddle and huddle of the city.

The toilet and shower are clean, as is the bed. However, the rest of the room looks quite dirty. The cuboard doors and room door have strains and splashes on them, it's been a long time since the room was thoroughly cleaned. In our opinion, the hotel does not deserve 4 stars - rather fewer. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway station, which makes getting around very easy. The breakfast spread was also very good, and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. The only minor thing to note is the frequent ambulance sirens at night. Overall, it was a very good stay.

A great hotel and a wonderful venue for the annual English Teachers' Conference. The atmosphere here is cozy, warm, and beautiful. The grounds are very well-maintained, and the restaurant is quite decent. On top of that, the location is very convenient and easy to reach!

It was my third stay there - I love the place. Handsome rooms with pretty bathrooms, convenient place for different occasions, and the best thing about the hotel is the staff and the restaurant - everybody wants you to be satisfied with everything, and the food is super - delicious. Staying at this hotel near Lake Balaton was truly a pleasure. Its location, close to Siofok's city center, is perfect for relaxation. The spa, though small, features excellent saunas, and the staff is both kind and attentive. Highly recommend for a peaceful autumn retreat!

The best hotel for local and international guests who want to have a lovely relaxing luxurious holiday. Rooms carefully cleaned regularly, food is exceptional, the staff is always so friendly and kind and helps in case of need during the day or night. One of the nicest hotels in the city with a brilliant restaurant and food. They do an open Sunday buffet which is hard to beat. Not cheap, but there's a reason for that. It's damn good.

This is a great hotel with very large rooms. I was surprised at how much space you have when staying here. Something that is a bit negative is that we did not have any air conditioning, så it got very hot, particularly at night. The location of the hotel is perfect as you are close to the city center and have a lot of decent restaurant options nearby.

The Gokart Hotel is great to stay for one Week or longer. The rooms are clean and the Breakfast is good. The coffeemaschine is not the best but ok. The Servicepersonal is good. Diana, Nora, Balint, Zoltan and Vanda are very committed and very friendly. The go kart track is also cool and not that expensive. I will definitely come back. Thank you 🤗

Very good value for money if you are looking for a thermal hotel. Decent, tasty food, clean rooms and thermal bad, and a very good sauna world. The sauna programme is included. One of the best choices in Hungary for this price range. The service in the restaurant lags a bit behind the usual expectations, but it is only a minor flaw that can be corrected with a little assertivity.

The hotel itself is beautiful, next to the sea, swimming pools around, amazing food. There are just two things I was not so happy - the programme looks like it is only for Italian customers, in the reception they do not have any information about it. The other thing, the staff expects you to give them money for every little thing.

We visit thermal spa within weekdays and still it was lots of people there, I can tell it is really popular place. It is very well priced, it has several dining places including a small café. Pools seemed recently renovated. All in all it was a great experience.

We visited the spa only. It had lots of pools, we enjoyed watching the stars from the outside thermal pool. Sauna department had two Finnish saunas 95 and 70 degrees, aroma sauna (45) and steam bath. Go in naked or in blankets (provided by staff). The sauna ceremony is kind of suomen saunakulttuurin raiskaus, but interesting, noisy and fun.

We were in the hotel for several days. It is in a very nice place. The room was comfortable. The diners were varied. We had real hospitality. We used several services in the wellness area. The beautician lady has golden hands. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Excellent hotel! This hotel is excellent. Among the best we've stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean, the swimming pool/ spa / sauna and outside seating area lovely. The breakfasts had lots of choice and we had an excellent evening meal there. We'd definitely stay again.

We had to wait for our room, reception staff quite rude. No snacks at the bar/restaurant these had to be purchased in reception. Our evening meals were sent back as they arrived cold. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Tiliana. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just brilliant, being able to sit outside, eat and drink outside in the gorgeous sunshine was just lovely. The bedroom was great and a very comfortable bed.
