Relais Casale Antonietta in Sorrento

Horrible experience. We notified administrators that out A/C didn’t work, that it wasn’t cooling, and they ignored it and we were sleeping dropping sweat every night for 3 nights.

On checking in, I found hair on the bed and the floor. I immediately called the front desk to let them know. The person came over and looked at the hair and said - “oh thats nothing” and proceeded to throw the hair in the trash. He said that he could redo the bed. After doing so, I still found hair on the sheets (which made me believe that he didn’t really change any sheets). I asked whether they could reclean my room or if they could place me in another room. He mentioned that it wasn’t that dirty to clean and that there were no more rooms available. He did not apologise on the lack of cleanliness or a note on improving the cleaning they provide. Given the lack of a response on his part, I did not think it would even be worthwhile to mention that the floor was dirty (had picked up the most random disgusting dirt when walking barefoot in the room). One of the worst service I had ever experienced in a hotel.
It’s a slight walk uphill if you have a suitcase.
The breakfast spread was fresh and tasty.
