Florence, Via Delle Oche, 11 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is a great location to explore Florence. It is a one minute walk to the Doumo and the surrounding area. The hotel's lobby is located on the second floor and is accessible by a small elevator. There is absolutely no parking almost anywhere. We suggest you take a train or the shuttle from the airport. The staff is very excellent, and very professional. This is our second time staying here...
Room is compact and a bit dated but clean. The location is right next to the Duomo and the service is fantastic. Recommend to stay here.
Great location for price you pay, easy to walk to train station even with cases. We stayed in room 305 with a view of the Duomo from our window. Walk out front access and you have 100 yard walk to Duomo many restaurants and gelato stores also. Room was always cleaned to a high standard bathroom very small with just enough room in the shower to turn around. Has a tv in the room but no English speaking...
Could not be better situated. Staff were excellent and very professional and friendly. Room was a little outdated, but it's a base and you wont spend much time in it. Breakfast was good, typical continental which is ideal. Beware of rooftop bar prices! Very expensive but worth it for the night time view. Bar is not associated with this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth every penny. Will...
The hotel room pictures are deceiving, specially the bedroom. Great location though. Short walking distance from the Duomo. The rooftop bar has the best view of the Duomo/tower/Cathedral and the staff was incredible, but I think the rooftop bar is part of the upstairs hotel. Our bedroom walls were kinda dirty (saw some mosquito blood on the walls and on the bedsheet). Clean towels. Furniture is...
The location was outstanding - close to everything and majorly walkable. And being able to se the Duomo from our hotel room was exceptional! The breakfast was ample and so appreciated that it was included in the rate. The rooftop bar was a special place that we visited daily.

Good vibes, good location v near to station n bus stops, near to attractions, v good kitchen with many free food, neat n clean Beds are narrow in width, no curtains for privacy
A great location, close to the station and easy to access the city by foot. Comfortable bed and warm shower. Large enough room which felt secure with a good door locking system. Mix of a hostel and hotel. Can be a little confusing to find the location- because there are multiple names of hotels in 1 location, checking and understanding the different "hotels" on each level.
Best hostel you can find in Florence! Central, close to everything, amazing staff- shout out to Andriy and Tommaso- great vibe and cosy rooms. 10/10
Perfetto! I really enjoy my stay in Ostello Firenze, everything was perfect. Don’t change! I’ll come back!
Great place, good location and facilities, and AMAZING staff (shoutout to Andriy — he got me the best room!). They have lots of planned social activities (karaoke night was awesome!). Overall would highly recommend!
Great location short walk from train station. Clean, warm and friendly! Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was a lot of “self help” required. The desk shuts down at 5ish and it’s back till around 8. Breakfast is optional at this “B&B”, but it’s only €7. The housekeeping was excellent and the shower was great.
The location cannot be beat however the room did not appear to be the same as the photos. It's a bit older and the sound proofing isn't great. They also have very limited working hours for check-in.
Very quiet, clean and great room. Big bathroom. About 13 minute walk to train station. 8 mins to cathedral.
The room was spacious and tidy. Conveniently close to a lot of restaurants and bars!
Perfect location . Located in beautiful building with elevator. Walk to sites all within 15 to so minutea/. Very good sound proofing when windows closed. Excellent AC . Appreciated help with calling taxi when we left. The only possible issue is entering building - have to call by home cell phone so more difficult with eSIM. Cafe, breakfast, gelato, take our lunch sandwiches , grocery , pharmacy...
Pleasant stay, very convenient location with plenty of good eateries and bars nearby. Clean and comfortable bed, could do with firmer pillows, nice seating area in the room. Nice clean bathroom, typically Italian breakfast for 7 euro. Would stay again for the location.

LOCATION: Perfect location from the train station and close to the main market. Florence is rather compact so very close to many things. 10 mins from the Duomo SERVICE: The wifi didn’t work (4 night stay) so if you work remotely that is something to think about. ROOM: It had too many mirrors and we stayed next to the reception so we could hear people at night and they could hear us. They also told...
While Hotel Berna may not be the fanciest, most modern hotel in town, it does many, many things right. First, the hotel is very well located if arriving or leaving from the main train station... about a 5 minutes walk, or even less, when you know where you are going. With the building only having a very small elevator, those with large luggage may have to take a few trips up and down to the floor...
Simple but great. Perfect location for train travelers and to move between nearby cities.
The hotel location, the cleanliness, the safety and the staff, especially Nadia, was great. There’s a lift in the building, the room was clean and a decent size. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was average but certainly functional and clean. Whatever I needed, Nadia and her team were ready to help. I would recommend!
It was very close to the train station. The reception desk is only open from 9am to 7pm. The elevator is very old and can hold one person at a time if carrying luggage
Not the prettiest location, but so convenient to train, and easy walking to all major attractions. The very best part was our service . Nadia, specifically, went way above and beyond to be so helpful, as well as friendly and courteous every day. For this reason, I would recommend hotel Berna to friends!!!

Hotel location was great as is close (walking distance) to almost everything. We slept in the hotel for one night. Our room was clean, however we requested an extra bed prior to arrival, it was approved but when we arrived it was discovered that not arranged. Parking was a challenge, in the city center was provided by the hotel in a garage for an additional fee € 35,00 which was a bit high for us,...
First of all - excelent location. We slept in the hotel for one night. Our room was clean, tidy, well furnished, with good Wi-Fi. Parking in the center is provided by the hotel in a garage for an additional fee, which was great because we had a car with luggage for the next trip. The breakfast is really very rich and the staff is nice and smiling. They talk to you, you feel welcome. So we highlight...
Honestly can’t understand the negative vibe in the reviews here. The hotel is awesome to discover the city and has everything you need. The rooms are large enough with well equipped and clean bathrooms. The A/C works well but might be a bit loud on the lowest fan setting for sleeping. The breakfast is great and plentiful. The building itself is really nice and fits into the overall florence vibe really...
Our only hotel in Florence. The location, breakfast and staff are great. Breakfast is great for the Turks in the Italian conditions. I especially thank Giovanni, my friend Giovanni in the breakfast department. I love you Le due fontane
A very nice hotel in the heart of Florence. The rooms need to be refurbished, but they are clean and comfortable. The personnel is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is rich and tasty. I recommend it.
We had a three night stay in this very well located hotel. 20 minutes to train station and 10 to cathedral square, museums are minutes away as well. The hotel itself is in quite a noisy area so be prepared to be woken early. The rooms are clean as is the bedding and towels. The bathroom is a bit dated and could do with a few improvements. I might be over-rating the place but hear me out. I read the reviews before coming, was skeptical. Had the worst day (difficult flights, different issues) got to the hotel and what do you know, there was a payment issue. I thought i was gonna stay outside. Pretty good clean and nice place, big rooms aswell but bad location...
Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.
Great experience. The staff is so friendly and the lobby is available 24hrs. The room had everything we required and the breakfast was good. The patio is great for socializing. It's close to the tram stop. Well priced overall.

Florence, Via Palazzuolo 71 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Pros: The location is superb! We arrived on the overnight train from Rome and reached the hotel quickly. We only spent the night and then went to another hotel in the city center in the morning. No extra charge for checking in after 10 PM. Cons: The shower stall is incredibly small with a broken door. Loud noise from the hallway, as the room is right next to reception.
The advantage is its proximity to the train station. However, the reception staff in Italy were, as always, unfriendly and almost overcharged me for city tax; I had to argue to get it back. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a lot of luggage, as you'll have to carry it up a fairly long flight of stairs.
Everything was close and very convenient
This hotel was quite nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It's in a great location..quiet, close to the train station, close to restaurants and not far from the city centre. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was chosen for its covenient location close to the tram stop and the main city area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel and room clean. Air conditioning worked well. Close to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions.
Improvement needed It could be a lot better for the price, way too overpriced

Very close to the main station and very close to the sightseeing highlights, we were happy to get a hotel for a reasonable price in Florence. The room had been renovated and felt clean. However, the hotel only provided heating in February, not air conditioning, so the room was a bit stuffy and required opening the window. It was also a bit noisy due to its proximity to the road and restaurants.
Great experience! Prime rooms, recently renovated bathroom. Great service provide by the wonderful Federica at reception! Overall made our stay in Florence safe and comfortable :) 5/5 stars from me.
The rooms are pretty small and dont have many utilities, but they were pretty clean, the bedding was changed almost daily. The bed however is pretty small and its not a queen size but two small matresses, which was a bit annoying. The staff was nice. Breakfast was mediocre, but good for the price paid. Staff will introduce nearby attractions to visit, will help with storage and take to the room, will provide maps to assist in finding attractions, friendly attitude. Before leaving, they also ask if they need a ride-hailing service or other assistance, giving a sense of attentiveness. Overall this hotel is worth recommending 👍
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it very convenient to travel to surrounding cities. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the doors are locked at night, ensuring a safe environment.

It's very accessible from Santa Maria Novella Station, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also close to Florence's main tourist attractions (Santa Maria Novella Church, the Duomo, etc.), making it easy to get around. Housed in a historic building, the rooms are vintage yet clean and tidy, and quite spacious, making for a great experience. The hotel is a little bit old, but it's clean. Good price
Location is a little bit far from my working place . But it’s Clean and bed is comfort and nice breakfast.
This hotel is in a great location in Firenze. We stayed 2 nights, the staff was very welcoming, breakfast was good. The front desk woman, even spoke, english, french, italian, and I believe spanish. They assist you with giving advice for parking and getting around the city. It's in walking distance to the museums and Basilica. Room and bathroom were clean and large.

We had the best experience at Hotel Davanzati! The location is excellent with access to the railway station and many fabulous places of interest. Leonardo provided great information about museums, gardens, and great places to eat. We enjoyed happy hour at the hotel and definitely plan to return here.
We would like to thank the staff for the high level of support and professionalism. Everyone on the team was very kind and helpful, especially Leonardo and Cosmin. The breakfast was delicious, but the facilities were the worst of all the places I've stayed in Europe. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find, but the view from upstairs is amazing – you can open the window and see the cathedral dome!
I was very satisfied with the hotel's location, which was close to famous tourist attractions, and the reasonable price.
There were bugs in the bed, it was terrible! One of the female managers was really disgusting; she insisted the city tax be paid in cash! Is she trying to pocket it herself? I definitely won't be coming back.
