This hotel is a great location to explore Florence. It is a one minute walk to the Doumo and the surrounding area. The hotel's lobby is located on the second floor and is accessible by a small elevator. There is absolutely no parking almost anywhere. We suggest you take a train or the shuttle from the airport. The location was outstanding - close to everything and majorly walkable. And being able to se the Duomo from our hotel room was exceptional! The breakfast was ample and so appreciated that it was included in the rate. The rooftop bar was a special place that we visited daily.

Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.

Pros: The location is superb! We arrived on the overnight train from Rome and reached the hotel quickly. We only spent the night and then went to another hotel in the city center in the morning. No extra charge for checking in after 10 PM. Cons: The shower stall is incredibly small with a broken door. Loud noise from the hallway, as the room is right next to reception.

The advantage is its proximity to the train station. However, the reception staff in Italy were, as always, unfriendly and almost overcharged me for city tax; I had to argue to get it back. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a lot of luggage, as you'll have to carry it up a fairly long flight of stairs.

The hotel was chosen for its covenient location close to the tram stop and the main city area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel and room clean. Air conditioning worked well. Close to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

The room had been renovated and felt clean. However, the hotel only provided heating in February, not air conditioning, so the room was a bit stuffy and required opening the window. It was also a bit noisy due to its proximity to the road and restaurants.

The rooms are pretty small and dont have many utilities, but they were pretty clean, the bedding was changed almost daily. The bed however is pretty small and its not a queen size but two small matresses, which was a bit annoying. The staff was nice. Breakfast was mediocre, but good for the price paid. Staff will introduce nearby attractions to visit, will help with storage and take to the room, will provide maps to assist in finding attractions, friendly attitude.
