Hotel Jane, Florence1 / 30

Florence, Via Orcagna 56-58 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Perfect hotel away from the noise Breakfast was the same everyday, simple but very good and good options. The coffee machine wasn’t working properly so the lady had to go to the bar to make cappuccinos. The room was clean but only got a spare toilet paper roll on the second day. Had an early excursion and we were given breakfast bags full of goodies.
Hotel Jane was a great stay. The breakfast was delicious. They offered several different food options, coffee, juice, etc. It also had an elevator, which is helpful with luggage. There is someone at the reception desk to assist you with getting taxi’s, etc. The hotel was clean and had a nice shower.
The Hotel Jane is a true gem. This small hotel is not only spotless, but its staff provides truly incredible service. The rooms are perfectly clean and well-equipped, and the peaceful location is perfect for unwinding. You'll also love having a superb wine bar and excellent gluten-free restaurants just a short walk away.
Very clean room, parking was provided free of cost which was a big surprise. Breakfast was incredible, so many high quality items to pick from. A short walk to the historic city was very doable even while pushing a stroller. Good experience overall!
The room was clean and the counter staff were friendly. The lift was very small but this did not adversely affect my stay. The hotel is about 30minutes walk to the popular sights of the city.
All good for a weekend. Small room but clean. The location is good and you can walk to the points of interest.

Hotel breakfast offers vegan choices. The twin room is spacious. Be aware that city tax €6 per night would be charged upon checkout. It’s not included in the displayed price on online booking platforms.
The hotel was overall very nice and we had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the train station and very close to the city center and major attractions, including Florence Cathedral. The breakfast was satisfying, with fruits, yogurt, a variety of desserts, and cold cuts. The staff were kind and helpful. The only area for improvement was the room layout. While the...
We booked a room for two weeks for September 2025 online on the Hotel Porta Faenza website and we got a great room on the top floor as requested. The proprietors were very helpful and our requests by mail were all met. Our room was clean and nice and quiet as we were on the third floor and the room had double glazed windows, even though the street was lively till late. The breakfast we booked was more...
I’ve been a dedicated independent traveller for over twenty years and can vouch that Hotel Porta Faenza is truly exceptional in the value it offers for your money. The staff, the room, the breakfast: every aspect of my stay felt like I was being taken care of, and yet the cost of the accommodation was very affordable, like a step back in time to a less greedy era. This is definitely a place to return...
Room is a bit small but with a large and clean bathroom and nice hot water. Breakfast was good enough with a tasty cappuccino. Of course hotel location is perfect. Will reserve again if visiting again.
Great location, excellent value for money, and plenty of delicious food nearby.

We stayed here as a family of four and loved it. The hotel itself is full of character and charm, and the staff were super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, served out on the terrace, which was a lovely spot to start the day. They also did lunch and dinner — just lighter things like salads and snacks since there wasn’t a chef at the time — but it was still nice to have the option. ...
Stayed here for four nights with my husband and it was amazing! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved that it was outside of the busyness of the city but close enough to have a taxi take us back and forth throughout the day. We had the hotel call us a taxi multiple times but also downloaded AppTaxi to get rides back to the hotel which was very...
We spent four nights at this hotel celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and this hotel made our visit to Florence! The hotel is quiet and situated in beautiful gardens with a pool. The breakfast was gorgeous especially the coffee which we had each morning on the terrace. Initially we were worried we were far out of the city as our taxi cost e40 but we soon found out about the local number 12 and...
This is a lovely traditional great value 4 star hotel within an easy walk of the ponte vechio Added bones of a pool with plenty of sunloungers and a great buffet breakfast. The highlight though were the staff who without exception were happy to help in any way possible. Very child friendly too.
What a great experience. My son and I traveled to Tuscany back in May 2025 and Park Palace was our first stop. What a great start to our vacation. The staff was excellent, with Sabina being there for us every day and the lovely Elena ensured that we were completely comfortable. Hello from Mary and Nicola Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Very personal service and friendly staffs! Our annex room had a small balcony attached to it, spacious room with clean bathroom and air conditioning. Used the pool as we traveled in a really hot weekend. Breakfast was a great plus!

Great location. Furnitures are a bit old. Breakfast included.
Our room was on the first floor (which required climbing three flights with our suitcases). The room was disgusting! 1. It was very dark (one window overlooked a narrow, dark street) and cold: the heating system in the room was broken, and they later gave us a fan heater, which was terribly noisy and dried out the air in the room, drying out my skin and nose, and causing a constant sore throat. ...
Quite a big room. Just a bit troublesome if have suitcase cos lift is on 1/F.
It's less than a ten-minute walk from the train station, and there's a PAM supermarket right outside, making shopping convenient. Breakfast is prepared by an older woman who's very busy. The place isn't big, with only about eight tables. The selection isn't extensive, but it has everything you need: ham slices, bread, fruit, and yogurt.
Friendly and helpful reception and wonderful location. For those with cars , it’s going to be a bit expensive to find a parking near .
Great staff, updated amenities, and great stay!

Typical European boutique hotel ... small & cozy. But this hotel was pretty dated & in need of some repairs & renovation. We were supposed to get adjoining rooms as we were 3 with a special needs daughter. They initially placed us in 2 rooms, one in the 1st floor & the other on the 3rd floor! But glad they were able to find 2 rooms opposite to each other on the same floor. There were cracks on bathroom...
The location was decent, and the city center was easily walkable if the weather was good. Taking the tram was also a convenient option. I was very satisfied with the room's condition.
It's what I would call a "boutique" hotel in an older building. The room I was in showed slight wear, but this did not detract from my experience and the property was otherwise immaculate. All staff I encountered were excellent. The location is great - close to excellent transit and fairly easy walking distance to the heart of Florence.
The service was excellent, and we found it offered great value for money. The price for our breakfast-inclusive stay was very reasonable, and the breakfast was quite good too. Although the room felt a bit dated, it was fully equipped.
This was a great boutique hotel and we had a fantastic time staying here for three nights two weeks ago. Rooms are very well appointed, breakfast is great and the location is within a 1-1 1/2 km walk to most key sights in the city, but also right on the tram line in case walking isn't desired. Highlights are clearly the rooms themselves and the wonderful garden bar that you can enjoy for drinks before...

Great service! Felt like being at home. Quaint hotel in prime location next to the station with rooms worth the price. The provided breakfast was good for starting the day.
Our favorite hotel in Florence. The location is literally a few steps away from the train station and bus station. Prices are affordable and has a decent breakfast spread, not just coffee and cornetto. Look for Roni, very hospitable and also ask him about his resto recos.
Very close to the train station. Convenient! Our room is very spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the stay. Elbie, one of the receptionist, is very friendly and humorous! He gave us advice where to eat and even called the restaurant to reserve the seats for us. Absolutely recommend this place! It’s got all the charm of an older hotel but with modern amenities, and a lovely continental breakfast every morning. The hotel's location is its greatest asset. It's incredibly close to the Santa Maria Novella train station, making arrivals and departures effortless. I only stayed one night, but I was immediately and pleasantly impressed by the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. I found the room comfortable and very clean.
This hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the train station, making it super convenient for day trips to nearby towns. The breakfast was also quite good. The room itself is one of the largest we've encountered in European hotels, easily accommodating our family of three with its double and single bed setup.
The location was good and it was easy to get around. The receptionist's English was fluent and easy to understand, and they answered our questions appropriately.

Nice property, comfortable beds, awesome on site restaurant, good breakfast however room a little run down, broken shower tap and no AC work.
The property is perfect if you’re looking for a place to relax and have the most wonderful views of Tuscany area, the staff, Andrea was really helpful and kind. It’s better if you rent a car to get there, by bus you’ll have to walk a lot. But the place is totally worth it,
Not very friendly staff with the exception of one person. It seemed like they were annoyed when we asked for more information. The apartment was nice and as expected, it felt like a movie setting and we enjoyed the experience. However it was hard to find and we relied on other guests to show us around. Breakfast was very good!
This property was away from the city in a country setting. We were there in March and liked it but I think it would be even better with warmer weather and some landscaping. The breakfast was nice but carb/bread heavy. Would have been better with fruit
This was a beautiful place to make my temporary home in Florence. For the city minded, Expedia's estimate on time to the city is way off. If you don't rent a car you'll need to get a taxi or walk half an hour to take a half hour bus ride.
The place is nice and pleasant to rest, but the rooms are terrifying. The beds are more than 50 years old and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. There is no daily cleaning service, very bad. For such an expensive hotel.

the location is prefect, rooms are quiet and clean, check in is smooth, and staff is very helpful. I wouldn’t recommend the parking service (50 euros a day is definitely way too pricey)
We had a fabulous stay in Florence and the hotel’s location near the train station was fantastic both for when we arrived and departed (by train) but also for the three different tours we went on. The environment is excellent for tourists, with the train station and attractions all within easy walking distance. I highly recommend it, especially since the central market is nearby, making it super convenient to buy food and necessities.
Beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location nearby everything you need, very attentive staff. Only issue was when the man who brought our luggage that was stored with them he dropped it hard on the floor so could’ve damaged fragile stuff inside the bags. But everyone was kind and helpful. Beautiful view from the room, mainly in the toilet room with the view to the Duomo.
Friendly and supporting staff, good quality rooms, nice view, good location to city centre. The only issue was the noise in the morning due to construction. Other than that, was a nice experience.

Room was clean and well presented. Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Could hear the family living upstairs, child running up and down, dragging chairs in the morning. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all friendly. This was the most satisfying accommodation I've ever stayed in Italy. It's a bit further down the road from the station than I expected, and the walk is quite long, especially with a carry-on suitcase, but everything else was satisfactory.

The hotel left me with mixed feelings. The location is superb, and the rooms are designed in traditional Tuscan architecture. The marble bathroom is lovely, though the only downside was that the bathtub stopper wasn't perfectly sealed, so the water would slowly drain while bathing.
