Where to stay in Florence

Location is great, very close to the tram station and many restaurants nearby. However, they don’t change your towels daily and there were a few stains on it too.

The property is in a beautiful location. The hotel itself has seen better days. Although the staff is attentive and assists in all requests, there is a sense of the place being "tired" and in need of a facelift. With some care the place could be a 4 star property.

The hotel is in a great location - close to all the attractions. An old villa, surrounded by greenery on all sides. In the mornings - I enjoyed the singing of birds. Hotel 23 Rossol is conveniently located close to major attractions and transport facilities. Although the layout of the hotel is a bit complicated, the services at the front desk and bellman are very friendly. The breakfast has rich choices, tastes good and is satisfying. The interior of the hotel is decorated with many statues and artworks, adding to the unique atmosphere.

It was great! Super nice and clean inside the rooms. We came during November so we didn’t have to use any air conditioning or heat. This hotel is about 20 minutes from the city center so if you’d prefer to be closer, just be aware !

Checkin was confusing. Not sure the person at the front desk spoke enough English to understand us. Too many codes to remember to get in building and get in room and other floors.

This hotel is very convenient because it’s really close to the train station (8mins walk), which made getting around Florence super easy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay. Beware of mosquitoes. Many were in our room in early October. Cleaning and towel changes are provided only every 3 days or so. Elevator does not have access to certain rooms. Otherwise location is great, away from the more busy areas north of the bridges.

Very kind and helpful staff. I stayed in recently renovated room which was new and clean. The only thing; central heating does not work continuesly  . I had to tell them to increase the temp. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The constant presence of staff at the front desk was reassuring, and their guidance was excellent. The breakfast was good. It was a nice touch to have two complimentary bottles of water in the room. The availability of multiple rental umbrellas was very helpful. The room cleanliness was perfectly fine. My only minor disappointment was that the body soap pump was broken.

We used the hotel as a one night stop over on our holiday to Tuscany. It was 25 Euro in a taxi from the rank after midnight. They were very accommodating, especially as our flight was delayed, should have landed at 23:10. It is clean and suitable for one night. Receptionist was very helpful and polite. The hotel is very clean. Small but well-equipped. I expected a single room to be cramped, but even with two large pieces of luggage, I still had plenty of room to move around. It is in the best location, close to Santa Maria Novella Station and Duomo. It is good to come in and rest when you are tired from traveling. It is a trendy and cleanly decorated hotel, and the facilities are well-maintained, so I liked it. I want to stay there again next time I come to Florence.
