Florence, Borgo San Jacopo 14 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Had a nice stay. We had to change rooms cause one of the floors had a lot of noise with the pipes. The breakfast buffet is nice and I was very comfortable there.
This luxury hotel is located in a charming area of town. The food is exceptional, but most important are the outstanding staff. We arrived in the midst of a family emergency. The Hotel Lungarno staff were incredibly helpful, kind and caring. They provided extraordinary assistance with every need. We are forever grateful to all of the amazing staff, especially Ilaria, Andrea and Sara for their tremendous...
Hotel Lungarno was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the ambience throughout the hotel was beautiful and inviting. The attention to detail really stood out, along with the top-notch cleanliness of every space. I especially appreciated the thoughtful added touches, like the turndown service, which made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was excellent...
Amazing hotel, with an amazing view and location. Rooms are clean and charming. Bed sheets are incredibly soft!!! Service is outstanding- everyone going above and beyond, especially James out front. He saved the day when we didn’t have cash and needed to pay for a taxi, he paid out of his pocket (we paid him back later that day). Will definitely recommend and come back!
The Hotel Lungarno is breathtaking. Most of the main attractions, and so many incredible restaurants, in Florence are within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed and beautiful. Staying within the hotel walls makes you feel like a piece of history and the walls of the sleeping quarters feel like they were carved out of the walls of a castle. The service from the gentleman who opened the doors...
A small terrace overlooking the Arno with a view of the old bridge, which is a gem with the opportunity to enjoy good service.

Great stay at Horto Convento. The location is excellent — conveniently outside the ZTL and with parking available, which makes a big difference.
The reception team was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. Service overall was very good, and the staff were always welcoming.
Breakfast was enjoyable, and the rooms were impeccably clean with sufficient amenities. The rooms are slightly small, but...
Very comfortable stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were all so kind and they provided an excellent breakfast. The Hotel is well located and is a walk away from major attractions.
Everything was great but the breakfast could be better.
Loved the place! The location is comfortable to go anywhere, the room is big and clean, the service is great. Breakfast is more than enough.
Would definitely stay there again:)
Garden-style hotel with a very beautiful environment. The front desk lady gave me a city walk map which was very useful. She also recommended three restaurants near the hotel, which was great. The room facilities were not as good as those in the garden environment. The bathroom shower was a bit small. Everything else was very good.
If you are looking for a quiet place in Florence, this is the place.

Stay in family room. Spotless super clean newly renovated hptel. Spacious room conforrable bed. Staff from receptionist to bar staff are incredible. Very kind and helpful. Great hotel great people! For those who drive, carpark is vallet park and costs €30 per day as hotel is inside FTL zone.
very nice hotel, room is clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is nice. Bathroom is a little bit small
I liked everything
I recommend it to everyone
Clean and cozy
Value for money
The surrounding is clean and tidy, not far from the tram station. It's a 5-minute walk, very convenient. Breakfast was not bad. The style of the room is fresh and elegant, but it seems that it was renovated not too long ago and has a bit of a smell. There is a small refrigerator in the room and bottled water is provided.
1. Location: Very close to the train station, only 10 minutes walk to attractions such as Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi
2. Hotel facilities: Very new, feels like it has just been renovated, and the breakfast is delicious too!!
3. Service: The nicest front desk I have ever seen in Europe!!
It's similar to a fast hotel, clean and simple, and for the same price, it's average in Europe. The front desk service is good, but the surrounding environment is not very good, it's a bit messy, and there's nothing to eat nearby at night.

The hotel lage is very convenient in the centre, it's easy to walk to reach the Uffzi, breakfast can't complain with realativ plenty offer.
Good location & very clean room. Recommed!
No kettle in room for boiling water . My own fault for not knowing there was air con . We left the window open for 1st 2 nites and Saturday night was hell as the youngsters were shouting @ 3am followed by the rubbish truck @ 5 am .
Clean room. Great breakfast. The island wasn't crowded. Recommended.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. While it is slightly older place. It was nice and clean. Staff were happy to help us during check in and check out. Offers 24 hours check in. Market, super market, car hire, laundry place, bus, train and tram station is within 5 min walking distance. Breakfast was not super but it was not bad. Room was little bit small and old but was clean. The shower cabinet...
It was everything as promised. There were some kind of refurbishment going on, but no annoying noises in the room. Just the occasional builder coming in and out with materials. Surprised by the price-quality relation of the place. Would recommend.

Hotel was awesome
Strategic location, surrounded by so many restaurants and cafes.
Our room was spacious and clean.
Staffs were awesome, supportive and helpful.
Highlight for staff name Marama, she'was nice, really helpful and supportive, 5 stars for her.
Highly recomnended. About a 5 - 7 minute walk to S M Novella Station. We loved this hotel. We were lucky to have a big balcony with a table and chairs. Luxury! Breakfast was good and the staff were really helpful.
I thought the staff was friendly. However, as we mostly only used the rooms for sleep, we had a less than favorable experience. The beds were very firm and the pillows very small with some of the pillows barely having any fluffing in them. As a pregnant woman, this was very tough on me as I need to sleep on my side. I did not sleep well or much the 3 nights we were there. The room was clean if slightly...
Location of the hotel is quite a distance from the city center. A number of restaurants are within the area though. Booked four rooms, and one the rooms had faulty air conditioning. Only the fan works, without cooling. The attitude of the staff was quite poor, as they only told us there was nothing they could do.

Polite and friendly staff. But there is no one to make you a cappuccino in the afternoon. We asked for help on how to get to Bologna airport and the answer was that they would call us a taxi. Provided that we are close to the train station and bus stops... Well, that's the situation...

The constant presence of staff at the front desk was reassuring, and their guidance was excellent. The breakfast was good. It was a nice touch to have two complimentary bottles of water in the room. The availability of multiple rental umbrellas was very helpful. The room cleanliness was perfectly fine. My only minor disappointment was that the body soap pump was broken.
Wonderful Stay!
I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were friendly and professional, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The location couldn’t be better—everything is within easy walking distance. Just a quick note for drivers: the hotel is located on a one-way street, so plan your arrival accordingly. Overall, a fantastic stay and I’d definitely come back!
Quiet and well-located. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room a little disappointing for a 4* hotel (more like 3* Italian hotels we have stayed in), especially the bathroom and plumbing (low water pressure). We cannot give it a 5* for this reason. We have no plans to return to Florence, but we consider other hotels for this reason.
The room was a bit small, but the hotel's location is great, close to the city center and convenient. The service was good.
One of the most amazing places we have stayed at. The staff were accommodating, helpful and super friendly. The breakfast accommodated all of our allergies and habits. The staff would see us and run to make our hot beverages.

We stayed at this hotel for just two nights, but it left a great impression. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the staff were polite and genuinely caring. While the building itself is quite old, that’s typical for Florence—part of the city’s historic charm—so it’s best to set expectations accordingly.

Everything was first class, great room and service clean bountiful and delicious fresh breakfast. staff was professional and always cheerful and helpful, would highly recommend to others and would stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robert and his staff were always courteous and attentive.
The location is ideal and an easy walk to many of the most visited sites in Florence.
Great hotel in a central location. Very welcoming reception staff and comfortable, clean room. Perfect location for all the main sights in Florence, with all being reachable on foot. We travels to Florence by train, from Piza and the walk to the hotel was straightforward and only around 1km (20 mins) walk.
Carefully selected hotel, satisfied!
It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Santa Maria del Fiore and 10 minutes to the train station on the other side. It is super convenient. You don’t need to take a taxi when you leave the station and it is easily accessible to other places.

For a 3-star-hotel that was simply not enough. The room was ok, nothing special. But the walls are so thin you can nearly hear every room in the floor. Best of the best hotels during our stay in Italy.
At first, we sent an email to the hotel before the trip, informing them of our honeymoon stay in Firenze, but got no reply. But how they treated us has proved that they had been aware. We got very very well taken care of.
The room was good, and the breakfast was fabulous. The stuff there were all professional and kind.
Thank you so much for making...
Hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes to the train and market. Hospitality is great.
The location is fantastic, very close to the train station. I chose a room with a terrace, and it had a separate small door, making it super quiet and secure.
Perfect room Excellent service
Very convenient location but might not suitable for those who like quietness. However, despite the fuss the hotel is well-designed, very clean, helpful staff, adequate amenities and good breakfast!

The staff was very friendly. The place is very pretty, the pillows and bedding can be improved, not enough blankets and pillows. We didn't have clean towels for the second day, until we requested them.
My 3 night stay was okay. The solo room was very small, but I expected it to be. The in-room safe was on the floor & tucked away under the small closet,..so had to get down on my hands & knees with a flashlight to open & lock it. This hotel was notified before I arrived that I had bad knees & that I needed help with getting my suitcase up to the second floor which they did. Otherwise, the bed,...

This hotel is only four-star?!
Is this inflated star rating to help the Italian government collect more city taxes?!
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, which wasn't too surprising since we were a couple of hours before their check in time. The desk clerk -- pleasant and helpful -- suggested a restaurant that we could walk to, and stored our luggage for us. We had a nice Florentine pizza and headed back.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and attractions. It's very quiet at night and the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel provides slippers and the bed is relatively large (I personally like a larger bed). Recommended~

The location is so-so, and the facilities are rather outdated.
I stayed two nights.
It felt a bit old and was quite far from the attractions.
It had a retro feel, which was nice.
But it didn't seem very clean….. There weren't many convenience stores around.
There was a decent pizza place nearby.
Other places were just average.
I wouldn't recommend it 😢 but the price reflects that, haha…. If you don't care about the price, you can check out other places.

The Hotel itself was very nice and the front desk staff and bartender were great. However, there are a couple issues with this place. First, the shower situation was not great. This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there a few weeks ago. The staff were so helpful and graciously answered all our questions. Breakfast and tea time were so fresh and delicious. And our room was comfortable, immaculate and quiet

Good place to stay, but abit disappointed with the bathroom, too small and unable to turn back if you are big and 6ft, good location and love the stays
An old-fashioned hotel. The keys are unique, and you have to leave them at the front desk when you go out. Breakfast is always cold, but they politely ask if you'd like coffee, tea, or something else. It's very close to the attractions.
Great location, good value for money, and friendly front desk staff. For the price, it's understandable that the rooms are a bit dated.
Very brilliant service by the staff. The settings are a bit old and some amenities require renovations or repairs. Yet it’s overall a good experience.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The location is the best. The room was clean, spacious and luxurious. It was good to stay in the room. The service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent, rich and delicious. Thank you for the excellent hospitality.
The next time I visit Florence I will definitely take a room at the hotel.
I intend to market it to my friends
I can’t say enough about Milu Hotel located in the heart of Florence City Center. I had
2 different bookings for each night and they decided to upgrade; I extended my stay for third night and they still left me in that larger room. It is a waking distance to many of the historical places, awesome restaurants and such an amazing staff! Has a lovely terrace which I enjoyed a hot cup of tea. From Leslie...
The elevator has a strange odor. The breakfast area is small and the view is average. The location of the hotel is OK. The room is not big, but it is clean. Overall, the price-performance ratio is average. The service is very timely and the attitude is very good.
