The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, with a bus stop right in front for exploring the city. We walked to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Zhongshi Market in just over 10 minutes. The room was very clean and had ample space for three large suitcases. It is a traditional hotel in a very busy area of Florence, about a five-minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of most major sightseeing attractions. The room was outdated, with lots of dust, especially on the baseboards. The sheets were dragging on the floor, making it unhygienic because it was easy to step on them, even with shoes on. The TV was uncomfortable to watch. A fabulous find! We needed a place near the airport to rest for a few hours before our journey home. The rooms were clean, functional and cool! Even though they couldn't guarantee an early check in, the staff did their best to accommodate us. The hotel has a pretty terraced garden for those wanting to sit outside. A real life saver!

The hotel is quite close to the Accademia Gallery, but it's a bit of a walk from the city center, like the Duomo. The room and service were both great. There's a T2 bus stop nearby, which makes it pretty convenient to get to the train station in just a few stops.
