Florence, Via Di Mezzo, 20 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel was immaculate! We stayed here for five nights as part of our honeymoon and were blown away by the level of care and detail imparted into every corner of the space. The hotel was recently remodeled and from the décor to the bar's drink menu, every detail was obviously curated with care. The vibe gives alluring quiet luxury. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities high end (having a...
A December Gem in Florence
We spent a long weekend at The James Suite Hotel Firenze in December and it was exceptional. The timing couldn't have been better - Florence without the tourist crowds, just locals going about their day, gave us an authentic experience of the city.
The hotel itself is outstanding. With just over 30 rooms (all suites), it strikes that perfect balance between intimate boutique...
WOW! This James is the best. We had the pleasure of staying in room 21 and it was absolutely spectacular. Everything about this hotel is pristine. The level of personalized care and service, the style of the entire hotel, the room, the drinks, the breakfast, everything. Finding a good boutique hotel experience is hard to come by these days and The James is doing a spectacular job. Our room was the...
This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at anywhere in the world.
The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and every need was met by the team. We were delighted with the special touches like welcome drinks and fruit in the room.
The room was very comfortable, with generous space, comfortable furnishings and lovely peaceful...
The James Suite Hotel 1564 Firenze is the best designed place we ever set our eyes upon. This boutique place was a beautiful mix of high-end luxury and cosiness, that made it a home away from home.
The service was personal and welcoming. We spent a few days of our honeymoon here, and we wished we would've stayed longer in this hotel and Florence!
The innovative cocktail bar and restaurant are of...
Myself and my teenage nephew enjoyed a few days in beautiful Florence and we stayed at this lovely hotel for our stay. It is in a great location, on a quiet street but within two minutes walking we were in a busy place, we were able to enjoy our sightseeing without ever being too far from the hotel. The staff were friendly and answered many questions without us feeling we were an annoyance, the breakfast...

Good hotel with parking near center of Florence. Good breakfast and staff.
Service at the reception was amazing but the ladies in the breakfast area were looking so sad. This is what I thought anyway. There was some water and a couple of cheapest beer cans in the fridge in the room and we drunk but they didn’t inform us that we had to pay for this. At the checkout out they asked us to pay. There was no coffee or complementary drinks in the room available at all. Maybe this...
Convenient location which is around 6 mins walk from Florence train station. The room is large which could fit in 2 luggages with ample space. Breakfast is fine.
It was a nice, small, antique-style hotel. It's a little far from the city center, but the price is reasonable and the staff are friendly.
The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed for multiple nights, and the cleaning was thorough, which was great.
The breakfast was also delicious.
There are very few amenities, so be prepared when staying here. The hair dryer provided has a weak wind pressure,...
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, with a bus stop right in front for exploring the city. We walked to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Zhongshi Market in just over 10 minutes. The room was very clean and had ample space for three large suitcases. The breakfast also offered a wide variety of food.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the station. I knew I was there when I saw the park sign.
I arrived late due to a train strike, but reception was quick to respond.
The next morning's breakfast was also warm, so I felt comfortable all day. Good night 😊

Florence, Via degli Avelli, 2, Santa Maria Novella (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed at Hotel Domus Florentiae for two nights because of its convenient location. It is a traditional hotel in a very busy area of Florence, about a five-minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of most major sightseeing attractions. We truly appreciated the kindness of the staff and the excellent breakfast.
It was a wonderful holiday in this city, especially since the hotel is close to the train station and the reception was excellent. I would like to thank the hotel management for employing such competent staff. Breakfast was served professionally, especially by the receptionist, Salah.
Breakfast was very good, the room was clean, and the staff were highly professional.
The reception staff were very experienced, and the breakfast staff were excellent, especially in preparing coffee.
The hotel has a great location near the train station, with a beautiful room and a nice view.
It is also located in the city center, close to markets and the main square.
Special thanks to Salah, the...
Great location. Wonderful staff. The superior bedroom was a good size and had all amenities needed. Daily cleaning service was good. When our flight out was cancelled, the hotel was able to accommodate an extra day, which surprised me as it is a 14 room boutique hotel.

The location is very good and convenient for travel. You can walk to all attractions. The front desk lady is very nice
The location is very close to the station and there are a lot of people coming and going. I felt bad when I entered the hotel. It was a basement and smelled bad. It was really the worst hotel in this European trip. The room was very small and dirty. It was a bad experience in every aspect. The front desk was quite friendly, but the conditions were too bad. It was said to be a four-star hotel, but it...

Incredible hotel. Everything was perfect. Right in the city center. Very affordable.
Great location in the heart of Florence—just steps from the Duomo and main attractions. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and polite. Breakfast is simple but good. Perfect hotel if you want convenience and an easy walk to all sights.
I love the location, it is easy to get to anyway. The room is clean and the lady at the reception is very helpful.
Booked 2 nights here just for the location. Hard to beat! Room was good enough but no counter space in recently renovated bathroom. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Very friendly staff.
The whole leaving your key thing is weird and doesn’t make sense because they give you another key to get in the building after hours. Why not just let us keep both??
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got us checked in early. The room was nice and the bed was wonderful. Easy walking distance to pretty much anywhere you want. The breakfast was above average. Would stay there again.
The location of this hotel is very convenient. The staffs are very kindly and helpful. Will recommend to my friends.

The hotel is new and a nice place to stay, with a very good location in Florence. However, during my stay the AC was not working, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Beautiful renovated property with original details & perfect location. Clean room & excellent staff, & great breakfast
Unfortunately, I can't say anything rave about this hotel other than perfect location and wonderful reception staff, who are truly willing to help and recommend anything you ask for. We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station, reasonably priced and looked modern and upgraded. The street it was on is always so busy but we got a room with a view onto the courtyard so it was very peaceful. There’s lots of lovely restaurants near by. Mediocre hotel, the only one probably in Italy that serves a heartless filter coffee at breakfast. It ha s very noisy rooms, if you want to hear the whispered conversations of your neighbours, this is the place to be. This hotel is conveniently located near Santa Maria Novella station. The rooms are tidy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast could be a bit better, but overall, it's a good place to stay.
Great hotel with an excellent location for exploring Florence. Housekeeping kept my room and the rest of the hotel sparkling clean. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and kind. While the room had convenient modern amenities, it also had old world charm.
Staff were professional and cordial, easy check in and check out.

Excellent service from everyone! (Especially the kind sir who works in the buffet area.) front desk is extremely helpful. Location’s amazing, right in the city center. 8 mins walk from train station.

The location is very good, very convenient to several attractions, the bathroom is large and clean.
The room was outdated, with lots of dust, especially on the baseboards. The sheets were dragging on the floor, making it unhygienic because it was easy to step on them, even with shoes on. The TV was uncomfortable to watch. it is around 6 minutes walk from the tram station. around the property there is nothing much to do. the room is spacious but quite old. for how expensive accommodation in Italy. You had to trade convenient with cost. it is still a decent stay.

EXCELLENT place to stay if you’re visiting Florence and want to be in the heart of everything.

Very good experience. Would highly recommend the stay.
The hotel is easy to find, about 15 minutes walk from the station. The hotel lobby and corridors don't look very good, but the room is still very good, big and clean. It's just that it's next to the cathedral and the bell rings at 7 o'clock. However, this bell can definitely be heard in all hotels nearby. It's a bit noisy in the city center, but it's good overall and worth staying.

I loved staying at Atlantic Palace. The receptionist was very polite and friendly. I also really liked the location — it’s very convenient and within walking distance to the main attractions.
The room was quite spacious for the two of us, and it came with a kettle and basic amenities.
Beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location nearby everything you need, very attentive staff. Only issue was when the man who brought our luggage that was stored with them he dropped it hard on the floor so could’ve damaged fragile stuff inside the bags. But everyone was kind and helpful. Beautiful view from the room, mainly in the toilet room with the view to the Duomo.
Friendly and supporting staff, good quality rooms, nice view, good location to city centre. The only issue was the noise in the morning due to construction. Other than that, was a nice experience.
I’ve stayed here a few times and I appreciate that this hotel has a great location, clean rooms and friendly and very helpful staff.
Was ok. Generally the property needs refurbishment. Starting to look tired inside. Booked for the charm but shabby isnt charming. Poor nights sleep due to loud lift motor. Staff were friendly, hotel had character but showing wear and tear. Bed comfortable, shower hot and strong water flow. No coffee making facilities in room. Loved our stay at IQ Hotel Florence! The location couldn’t have been better, and the hydro plunge pool was such a treat after wandering around the city all day. Big plus for the free goodies in the minibar 🙌 and the room was super clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel facility was excellent, the decoration was modern. Service was great too. The location is close to the attractions, but yet not too close to the noisy crowded environment, major tourist attractions within walking distance of 15-30 minutes.
Short walk into town. Bit of a longer walk to the river. Tram stop right outside, which goes to the train station and airport!
Lovely staff, we’re so kind and smiling! Free minibar was a bonus. Amazing rooms, and comfy bed! Lovely spa area! Lovely warm pool, just wish it was open longer! Thanks for a great stay!!
