Florence, via del Proconsolo 3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located in the old city, making it convenient to get to any attraction. However, please note that the last bus departs at 8:30 PM. The female front desk staff weren't as friendly as the male staff. Overall, it was okay.
This hotel was a fantastic find for my independent trip to Italy. It's not far from the central station, and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the Duomo – a real oasis of calm in the city. It's also right next to Dante's House. Breakfast was excellent.
The room was spacious, the service was good, and it was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Florence. The complimentary two bottles of water was a plus.
We had stayed here a few years ago and decided to return with some friends for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The rooftop bar is second to none with the views of Florence. Barbara, the Concierge was a great asset to arrange transportation, restaurant recommendations etc. I was the "coordinator" in charge of 12 friends, and she was a so helpful. I don't think I could've done it without her. The rooms...
Beautiful hotel in a great location and a awesome view of the duomo
Highly recommend
The hotel is nice, but the mattress was too firm and didn't allow us to sleep well. The breakfast was good and varied.

A fantastic two-night stay at Starhotels. Perfect for our road trip with free parking and a great location. The room was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly—highly satisfied!
The hotel was well positioned outside the hustle and bustle of central Florence. We were travelling by train, so having the tram stop just across the road was very convenient. The room was a good size, the pillows wonderful and there was plenty of hot water for showers.
Excellent facilities, service and location. Very easy to go to Florence center with supermarket around. Free car parking continental for driving
Convinient location with train station to main square/ Firenze S.M.N. train station right outside the hotel. Nice large, clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Housekeeping was on top of everything to ensure a comfortable stay.
Breakfast options could include some more fresh cut fruits.
Grocery store/mall - Coop is 5 mins walking from the hotel in case of some emergency supplies...
Although the room isn't in the city center, its location is extremely convenient. Tram T2 is right outside, offering easy access everywhere, and there's a large supermarket directly behind the hotel for water, fruit, and snacks. The hotel definitely shows its age, but it's kept impeccably clean. The only minor issue was a sewer-like smell upon entering the room, whose source I couldn't identify. It...
Having visited Florence multiple times, I can confidently say this hotel is fantastic and offers excellent value for money. It's situated in a new, very quiet area, which ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are beautiful.
A hotel of this quality in the city center would undoubtedly be much more expensive. For a city like Florence, which isn't...

Good hotel, old style as in good style. Parking. Just a bit far from the center, but not that far.
really nice hotel!! the people who are working here are super nice and caring!!
Comfortable and clean, breakfast was high quality with a lot of choice and staff were nice. The lobby and bar was very comfortable and really good to hang out in.
The room is nice the shower is good but water goes out quite easily of the shower so a wet floor. The service was good and the breakfast was decent.
Nice hotel.. great location friendly staff.. very spacious rooms.. good buffet breakfast.. loved our stay.. the hotel helped a lot with the luggage.. all the basic amenities were available in the room.. like we really needed the electric kettle in the room which was available without any deposit.. distance from the Florence central station was about 150m, walkable of course, with the luggage too. Loved...
The hotel is okay, nothing more. Was in March, icy floors and carpets no sneakers, rested the weakest of the three of us got sick, the Breakfast is delicious even provide champagne, fruit little. THE biggest drawback IS IN COLD WEATHER COLD IN the ROOM from all the Windows of the blower.

Amazing hotel, very clean and very attentive staff. Plenty of well kept amenities. Very close to many of the main attractions. Hotel staff gave great recommendations for food and night life. Would 100% stay here again! Beautiful view from the balcony, which i have attached here.
The hotel proximity is close to all the locations. There is a church just right beside, with bars opposite.
We enjoyed our free drinks and sweets, buffet breakfast was great. The location was super. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone
Excellent. It's my second time here, and it's just as good. Even if I were to visit Florence, Italy again, I'd choose this hotel. It's the best in Florence.
Great location, near the shopping and food districts and also the train station!
An amazing hotel located in the centre of Florence overlooking a beautiful Piazza surrounded by restaurants excellent shopping and to die for sightseeing attractions.
For some reason I got an upgrade to a suite which was sensational a lovely complimentary bottle of red wine together with a packet of biscotti.
The rooftop pool and bar were sensational with sensational views as well.

Convenient location, good breakfast, friendly staff. The bathroom is a bit small, and showering in the bathtub is somewhat inconvenient.
The hotel is located in a historical building, very friendly staff and full range of amenities.
Great location close to the train station. The hotel Albani Firenze lobby is clean and professional front desk employees. There is only one elevator you need to be patient in the morning people checking and checking out. The restaurant is good we had breakfast they had a variety of food to choose from and a buffet available as well. The service waiters and waitresses did a good job as well professional...
The hotel is very nice and centrally located. It’s walking distance from everything. The room was very nice. The hotel manager took care of us personally! The hotel has an excellent breakfast. It was included! We loved it! A little gem in the middle of Florence.
The hotel is located right around the corner from the train station. The entrance is beyond a gate, which I find safer. The hotel is clean. The rooms are big. Good ac. Found CNN in English. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Included breakfast has many options and is delicious and fresh.
Perfectly located within walking distance of Florence’s main attractions and plenty of excellent restaurants, this hotel makes exploring the city easy. It’s also right by the train station and the tram to the airport, with supermarkets just a few steps away. Crazy good location near shops & restaurants
The hotel is very close to the train station. We didn't take a taxi when we arrived, so we walked for over ten minutes along the cobblestone road with our luggage. The hotel is next to a small square and not far from a bridge. The city isn't large, so getting around is easy. The room was quite large, and the extra bed was basically just the sofa at the end of the bed. Every night, there was a turndown...
The hotel is located in the heart of city. The decoration is stylish. Cleanliness and service are top notch. Highly recommend!
The room was very clean and upscale. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, easily accessible by taxi. The location is excellent, very close to the train station, a ten-minute walk. Surrounded by brand-name stores, it's very lively and close to the Duomo. The staff was also very friendly. The front desk called a taxi for me, and it arrived quickly.
Perfect location, 10 mins walk from the train station, the hotel is in an upscale area and everything is within walkable distance! Fully air conditioned, spacious and clean room, friendly staff! It was a pleasant stay, will definitely stay there again!
I was a little nervous when I saw the 4.4 / 5 on Google but not sure how anybody could give this less than 5 / 5. Great staff, elevators were quick, room service prices were reasonable for breakfast, they were generous with water in the summer, air conditioning was incredible in the summer, perfect location amidst everything yet feeling like a retreat. Our stay in Florence became a truly unforgettable and very special experience, all thanks to this wonderful hotel and exceptional staff.
The excellent room, outstanding service, and above all, the warm hospitality you showed in celebrating our family’s special occasion were beyond anything we have ever experienced at any hotel.
A very beautiful hotel with a great location. The rooms were nice, and I was very satisfied.
A fantastic stay! The location is incredibly convenient, and it's one of the oldest hotels in all of Italy, so you can really feel the vintage atmosphere.
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The building itself is a gorgeous piece of history, beautifully combined with all the modern comforts you could ask for. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, just steps away from top shopping, amazing restaurants, and a short stroll from the train station.
A huge thank-you to **Giada at the front desk** for her outstanding hospitality...

Beautiful, super convenient. We'll definitely come back.
The service was amazing, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was great with the view of the river at the front of the hotel however, I bit hard to reach by public transport if you got big luggage
Clean, comfortable room/beds. Great location. Staff was very, very attentive. Very good breakfast.
A special shout out to Concierge Extraordinaire Walter, who helped us out way beyond what I expected! I
Wonderful and clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. 25 minute or less walk to major sites. Was nice to feel at the edge of the city for less noise and view of the river but still walkable to everything.
Wonderful hotel. Incredible views from the huge rooftop bar/pool deck. Wonderful breakfast buffet with many hot and cold options. 10/10 … besides the bed and pillows (2/10)
I’m from the USA - the hotel was amazing! Staff and cleanliness were top notch. The rooftop! Location! All great.

Everything was okay, and the location was okay too :)
This hotel is only four-star?!
Is this inflated star rating to help the Italian government collect more city taxes?!
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, which wasn't too surprising since we were a couple of hours before their check in time. The desk clerk -- pleasant and helpful -- suggested a restaurant that we could walk to, and stored our luggage for us. We had a nice Florentine pizza and headed back.

Short walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and downtown tourist sites. Close to trams and buses.
The location of this hotel is spot on. There is a great restaurant across the street, and one of the main squares is less than a minute away.

It was not good that the shower room was flooded. The light in the bathroom did not work, which was a problem. The water was sometimes cloudy. If I were to be even more greedy, I would have liked to have a USB port in the room.
Hotel is well located in central Florence with easy access to all major attractions/areas of interest. The room was spacious with a recently renovated bathroom, which was appreciated. Poor wheelchair acessibility (seperate door), no disabled parking spaces, access to the dining room/ restaurant meant going outside and in another door due to no ramps inside the hotel, ok in summer but not in winter/ wet weather.

Everything is going well that hotel Breakfast amazing for all staff, friendly
This is a very old hotel. The breakfast initially felt stale (perhaps leftovers from yesterday?). The ham and fruit were a bit off. The room was clean, but very dated. The front desk staff was friendly, but it felt like most of the staff lacked grammatical English.

GORGEOUS hotel in Florence, we had a stunning suite for a nights stay during our honeymoon - I didn’t want to leave! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in recent years!
From the moment we walked in, we were treated with incredible hospitality. This is a family-owned boutique hotel where you can truly feel the attention to detail in every corner. The level of service provided by the entire staff is exceptionally high.

All drinks in the refrigerator are drinkable, but you can't take them with you while you're out and about during the day because there's no bottle opener 😂
