I have stayed n hotels in over90 countries, including the Ritz in London. This hotel does not deserve the couple of bad reviws it has had. It fully deserves all of the very good reviews. The hotel has high standards - staff are most welcoming & helpful. There was a large variety of choice at the self service Breakfast and a choice of 3 starters & 3 for main course at Dinner, although Sweets were more limited. (Guests with dietry needs were asked to inform the staff). All meals were excellently cooked & presented. I can only hazard a guess that the complainents re food expected burger & chips. I have no hesitation in stating that this hotel provides excellent value for money & I can thproughly reccemend it

Quick review… Room pass. location OK.Food NOT OK… one of the Noisiest hotels we have ever stayed in. Mainly because we were above the dining room and the scraping chairs at 6.30am-10am and 6.30-11pm choose a higher floor or ask to swap if already booked

We were very impressed by the warm welcome we received from all staff members, who were so friendly, professional and efficient, we would like to thank Angela, Giulia, Karla and Elvira. The room was a standard room, so no balcony but we found it to be very clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was especially comfortable. We enjoyed the self service breakfast especially the pancake making machine! Dinner was a 3 course meal which offered a limited choice but was always flavoursome and portions generous. We will definetely recommend the hotel.

Hotel was in a great position, central to everything but on a quiet street. Lovely staff - they couldn't be more helpful. Immaculately clean. Food (our booking included breakfast and dinner) was really tasty with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time here in Montecatini.
Hotel was old fashioned but exceptionally clean and meals very good. They catered very well for my partners vegetarian and gluten Free requirements. Would definitely stay again . Staff so helpful and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Reale it was located in a nice quiet area but only a few minutes walk into the town.The staff was helpful and friendly especially Angela who was on reception we would like to return someday.

Conveniently located in a quiet street within easy walking distance of the train station and shops. The rooms are clean and functional but in the new wing lack character. However, the terrace outside the room was a lovely place to sit in the sun. The hotel is well-placed for the Thermal Baths and for the funicular to Montecatino Alto which is a delightful village well worth exploring. A big advantage of Montecatini Terme is that it is on the train line for Pisa, Lucca, Posteia and Firenze. It is possible to visit Siena and the Cinque Terre by train too.

Fabulous experience staying at Hotel Reale. The staff were lovely, the hotel comfortable and convenient, and the food was great. Breakfast had a really good range and the dinner was excellent. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the train station that connects you to Lucca, Florence, Pistoia, etc. We hired a car to get from the airport but would take the train next time. Montecatini is lovely and pretty, and the Città Alta was beautiful. It was a great deal too, flights, wine, funicular tickets and wine tasting included. Highly recommend and we plan on going again!

What a wonderful time we spent staying at the Hotel Reale in Montecatini Terme. Quiet and peaceful with lovely, helpful staff. The hotel is close to all amenities with the train station being just a five minute walk away. Fabulous. Cant recommend it enough.

This family run hotel is a gem. We spent 5 days there during very hot weather .The food and service were excellent and the staff were very friendly and eager to assist. The bar also sells draught beer.The rooms are serviced daily and are spotlessly clean
The swimming pool and sun loungers were perfect and are located next to a delightfull courtyard, where the trees gave welcome shelter from the very hot sun, so it was not at all uncomfortable
The hotel is very centrally located but we spent most of our evenings in the hotel bar and courtyard. It had everything and we would go back
