Forest Inn Born in Yufu

We used this hotel for our anniversary!

Although it's located right near the Yufudake Smart Interchange, it felt like we were in a forest, creating an extraordinary atmosphere.

We stayed in a room with a sauna, which provided a supremely private space with a beautiful view.

The French cuisine was wonderful and delicious, perfect for our anniversary. We were so glad we chose this hotel.

Thanks to you, we had a wonderful anniversary and would love to use your services again.

We had an excellent time

It's located deep in the mountains, far from the center of Yufuin. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Yufuin, so getting there by car is essential. There's no public transportation.

The rooms are comfortable, but the location gets quite cold in winter, and the provided air conditioner was insufficient, requiring it to be run at full power. Because of this, the air was extremely dry; a humidifier would have been desirable.

The food was delicious, and I think it has established a unique identity with its combination of Western cuisine and hot springs.

Forest Inn Born offers hot springs, allowing you to soak while enjoying cherry blossoms! A truly beautiful sight. The inn has a restaurant that serves free breakfast daily. My stay included two meals a day, which was quite nice! Enjoy the tranquility of the forest.

This trip to Fukuoka, where I drive on the right, actually has many stories to tell!

Like staying at Forest Inn Born in Yufuin, nestled in the forest of Tsukahara Kogen.

The first photo shows the entrance, with a row of cherry blossoms beckoning you. The second photo shows you looking back from the hotel entrance, with lush green trees lining the road. The third photo shows a grafted cherry tree that's hundreds of years old at the entrance! The fourth photo shows the accommodation itself.

It only accommodates three groups of guests per day! The rooms offer comfortable Western-style rooms with Simmons bedding and Nordic-style furnishings, as well as Japanese-style rooms. It's like soaking in a room surrounded by trees, comfortably in an open-air bath—a fairytale dream… Here, birdsong becomes background music.

I stayed here for the weekend. True to its name, Forest Inn, this inn is nestled deep in the forest. A car is required, but the atmosphere is undeniably pleasant.

Dinner, starting at 6 p.m., was served in a separate cabin about a 30-second walk from my room.
I'm not a big alcoholic, so I savored a glass of wine.

We had a French course meal, and everything from the appetizer to the main course was simply outstanding.
I won't go into too much detail on each dish, but even the bread itself showed the attention to detail in its quality.

The way the foie gras and wagyu beef were particularly well-prepared made the course meal a visual treat.

Of course, breakfast wasn't just about dinner; we also had salmon and eggs Benedict, which were equally impressive. It really woke me up, haha.

From my room to the private open-air bath, I felt at one with the forest, and it was a wonderful inn I'd love to stay at again.
