This hotel is the best location, just besides the Shin-imamiya station, I can walk from the West exit gate to the Hotel within 2 minutes. The room is clean and good, the toilet is also very clean. The hotel staff are also good manner and well supportive.

I stayed for two nights. It's a great hotel, really close to the station. There are tons of restaurants around the hotel, and even a convenience store for late-night snacks, so I never felt inconvenienced. Check-out is at a strict 10 AM, which is probably standard for Toyoko Inn in Japan, but it feels a bit too early. Check-in, on the other hand, is precisely at 3 PM, not a minute sooner or later.

It seems this is the first Toyoko Inn in Sapporo, so the facilities are a bit dated. On the day I checked in, there were no non-smoking rooms available, so I had to take a smoking room. When I entered, I noticed a strong smell of smoke, so I had to air it out first. Other than that, the cleanliness and amenities were pretty standard and acceptable.

The staff were polite and efficient from check-in to check-out, and requests were handled promptly.

The hotel is very close to Sapporo Station and directly opposite Hokkaido University, making it super convenient for transportation and exploring the area.

This hotel was surprisingly good! I loved the decor; the room had a very Japanese feel, and the wall paintings were quite unique. Great stay overall. The room was spacious enough to open my suitcase, which is rare in Japan. Convenient location—5 minutes to Keikyu and 10 minutes to JR with plenty of restaurants nearby. Everything about this hotel was great. It was very clean and comfortable, and even had an air purifier. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, and a Starbucks nearby, which was incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!

Not for fussy travelers. Very basic and dated room, cant complain any as the rates was really good. Lobby provides lotion or scrubs, and also coffee n tea. Need to deposit the room key each time we go out of the hotel. Very near to Keisei ueno station is a plus

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of eateries downstairs and nearby, and it's also very close to Ueno Station. The hotel has its own hot spring bath, which is a nice touch, though overall the hotel facilities are a bit dated.

This sauna is off-limits to women. There are two sleeping areas, and the price remains the same whether it's peak or off-peak season. The sauna has an auto-loyly function, so you can feel refreshed.

If you're here just for the sauna, you'll be very satisfied. The capsules are simple but clean. The large public bath and sauna really helped me relax. Recommended for solo travelers looking for value for money.

The location is really good for tourists because this hotel is located in the center of the downtown. You can arrive there soon after getting of the city train. And the charge is much cheaper than normal hotel(=which has beds). Actually it was the first time for me to stay in Kapsel ?hotel. The experience to write some reports in the kapsel became unforgettable. Note: the hotel is for only guys.

In all it was nice, but the lockers were extremely small, the lounge area did not have a microwave or hot water and the water had a weird smell in the showers. The beds were good and it was very quiet in the sleeping room.

This my first hostel experience, and it was a good one. The shared dorm was tiny but fine. Capsule had enough space for my carry on luggage plus backpack and some hangers to help with organization. The location is very good. Godzilla, the Golden Gai, the Cat and Donki is just 10-15 mins away. The Mario Kart is also 2 blocks away. The people (guests) are mainly foreigners. The staff and service and their breakfast is very good.

It was a great experience! I was told that this would be a self-service check-in, but there were staff helping with the check-in process. Process was smooth and quick, and the staff is friendly. Best bang for the buck. Don't expect for a luxury hotel. I took the cheapest room, the size of a bed and a smell table with a tv. The matress and the linen were clean. The room was relatively clean as well exept for the walls. The part I didn't like about this plaxe is that they allow anyone to smoke in their rooms and in the public places, (reception, kitchen, hall, staircase etc...)

Exactly as advertised. For 10 bucks a night I have a mattress and privacy. The room is simply a box, with a single powerpoint. There is no fan, no air-conditioning, so you either freeze or melt. But this is no hotel (ignoring the name), and it shouldn't live up to your expectations as a hotel.
