Matsue, 469-1 Asahimachi, 690-0003 Matsue, Prefektura Simane, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
Hotel right opposite the train station with old-fashioned charm. Great price and well-equipped room with fridge and kettle. Private bathroom. Smoking and non-smoking rooms available. Fantastic!
In addition to being old, the setting of the bathroom is very unreasonable, too small, the bathtub is narrow and high, there is not enough space to squat down, the environment is clean, the non-smoking room has no peculiar smell, it is okay to stay for one night
The room is small and old, but the location is first-class
Facility is old.but enough for business purpose.
This hotel is conveniently located across the street from Matsue Station. Front desk staffs were helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. For Japan, it is about an average sized hotel room. They provided toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, hand towels, and bath towels. The slippers and Japanese style robes were a nice touch. For the price, location, and cleanliness I...

A quiet area but not so distant from tourist attractions. Excellent Japanese cuisine for breakfast. Drink bar available for residents.
The room is a bit small, but it's well-equipped and has an excellent location, only a ten-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple.
Fast check in with friendly and helpful staff. I was able to leave my luggage there before check in. I like the waiting area which serves as an extra dining area for guests having breakfast in the hotel, as well as guests taking their own meals. It has a great view of the street with large frames less windows across most of the room. The room was large good for 2 people easily. I was given a corner...
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was very good, and we loved the unlimited soda drinks available from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, which was a nice extra perk after a long day. The hotel offers unlimited toiletries, and you can conveniently get your own supplies as needed. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels provided. The bathtub is...
The hotel is a bit far from the subway station, about 1km from Asakusa Station. It's a new hotel, and the rooms aren't small. On the first floor, they provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, tea, toner, and lotion. Laundry is free, and drying costs 100 yen for half an hour. The breakfast area on the first floor also offers free tea and coffee from afternoon to evening. There's a smoking room on the...
The room was impressively clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. While the space isn’t overly large, it’s just enough to fit three luggages comfortably. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay here again.

The location is excellent—just a 5 to 7 minute walk to Nagoya Station. The bed is soft and very comfortable. Even though it’s a single room, there’s enough space to fully open a suitcase. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for budget-friendly accommodation in Nagoya
Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was a bit small, but the price was reasonable, so I'm quite satisfied.
This was my first trip to Japan, and after checking out nearby accommodations, I found this place to offer the best value for money. It's also super convenient for getting around Nagoya, especially with its proximity to the station.
Location is good. Just 6-7 mins from Nagoya station. A choice of Japanese or Weston set. There are some simple side dishes buffet. Nothing too fancy. Day time female staff are more friendly than night shift male staff. I couldn’t connect my iPad to Wi-Fi so asked them for help. One of the 2 guys gave me a poker face and cold shoulder while the other said he wouldn’t be able to connect it if I...
The hotel room is really small for the price you’re paying. Usually, if I pay around $100 per night, I get a much bigger room elsewhere, so just keep that in mind. The room also feels a bit old, and overall it’s just small. The bathroom is small as well, and the hot water doesn’t stay warm for long—it turns cold on its own, which is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re visiting in winter. That...
The hotel's location is great, right across from JR Nagoya Station, and there are tons of food options nearby. The downsides are that the room is small, the bed is 1.2m, and the soundproofing isn't great. There's an all-you-can-eat BBQ place for 5500 yen per person, a chain unagi (eel) restaurant for 4500 yen, and a Ton-yama ramen shop for 1000 yen. I highly recommend all three – you won't be disappointed...

This will definitely be my stop again next time! The location is extremely convenient — just about 10 meters from the train station, which makes traveling so easy. The room is clean, and I really like the spacious bathing area, which adds extra comfort to the stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would happily return.
Extended my stay here. All is well. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!
The location is great, right next to Shin-Imamiya Station, which is incredibly convenient. The Nankai train from Kansai Airport goes directly there, which is a huge plus. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. There's a Tamade supermarket next door, and Don Quijote is within walking distance. In fact, it's not far from Nihonbashi and Shinsaibashi either. Excellent value for money!
Facilities: Clean and tidy Hygiene: Excellent Environment: Quite good Service: Good service attitude The location is super convenient, just a few steps to the right out of the door is Shin-Imamiya Station. There are two or three convenience stores nearby, and this area isn't as chaotic as some online comments suggest.
The environment is great, and it offers excellent value for money, making it perfect for business travelers or tourists visiting Japan. The front desk service is particularly good. The hotel lobby has a dedicated lounge area, and the hotel's overall ambiance is fantastic. The price is very reasonable for the entire Osaka metropolitan area.
This place is incredibly convenient because it’s conveniently located right next to the train stations, making it an ideal base for exploring Osaka and Kyoto. The staff is friendly and the facilities are spotlessly clean. However, I must mention that the towels are quite small. If you’re not particularly fussy about towel size, it’s perfectly fine. But if you have thick and long hair like me, I highly...

The hotel located nearby both local trains and subway stations. The staff are polite and friendly. My room windows can see the train rails and Mega Don Quijote.
very lucky that they allow me to check in early (7am) with no extra charge. room is ok for a single stay (single room with shower and toilet). with tv, toiletries and fridge but no kettle. free coffee in the morning. straightly no guest visit in the room. main gate closed at 2am till 5am. can use room card to enter. English speaking staff.
The location wise it was very good, the amenities very plenty. Only thing that bothered me was at night there were bit noisy caused by passing by cars. Overall good👍
If you’re sensitive to noise, this hotel is not for you. I’ve already been counting the days until check-out — it’s way too loud, trains pass right outside the window. I knew about it, but I didn’t think it would be this unbearably noisy.
Room is decent sized. Location is alright. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again in future. Has all the basic amenities expected.
Good location within walking distance of 2 subway stations including Shin-Imamiya which is a stop for Nankai line from Kansai airport. As it's located within the district of Nishinari, front door is locked from a certain time from 11pm for safety consideration and accessible with room card. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Smile Hotel Asagaya is genuinely very good for the price. The rooms are clean, simple, and efficient, and the bathrooms are unusually large by Japanese standards. We booked Twin Room A. The experience here was very excellent. All staff are kind, professional and always ready to help. The price is also cheaper than hotels in Ueno. This is my second stay here. It's very convenient for getting around, and the room is clean.
Great location super close to the subway station, clean room and bathroom, the staff was friendly and helpful, overall a wonderful experience!
Location is great. The hotel is clean. Facility is covered my need.
I decided to book the room with friends after a bad experience at a different accomodation. Fortunately trip.com assisted with a refund while we lived here near Akiba. Love it and I’ll be back to this place again in the future. The staff were kind and there is luggage holding/storage facilities too. I really appreciated there was a 7-eleven outside too.
Location is great, just right outside a few subway intersection.  Can easily access to toyko Ginza Shinjuku.  Hotel facilities are new and great.  Staff are so helpful to help me call taxi in the last day of trip. Great stay and sure will come again

Nice and clean. 15min walk from the train station. Close to the sea.

The hotel is clean and provides basic services that one would expect from a budget hotel. It's great value for money.
A small, simple room that's fine for one night, with all the necessary amenities. It's 15 minutes from the train station. I didn't pay attention when booking, but it was a smoking room; upon arrival, there was an unpleasant smell of tobacco, and even the clean sheets and bath towel still smelled of tobacco.
Good place for the price i paid
The location was quite far from Aomori tourist attractions. The facilities were not bad for the price. The ceiling height was low, so it felt a bit stuffy.

The hotel is very comfortable and has a Vietnamese receptionist who is very friendly and explains customers' questions.
The place is spacious and fairly clean. I found the walk to the hotel at night a little scary, but other than that, I enjoyed staying here.
It's a little far from the station, but overall it's a reliable APA Hotel. It was a hassle to have difficulty selecting a non-smoking or smoking room on the website.
The hospitality was polite and the amenities were great, and the APA Hotel is run by a woman, so they were very considerate, and the price was reasonable, which was helpful. I go to a lot of ballet workshops, competitions, and events, so it's always expensive, but the room was spacious and I was able to relax.
It's been awhile since I've been to Japan and I took a chance on this hotel knowing nothing. I am happy I choose APA Machida. 5 min walk to Machida station gives me access to thr surrounding areas! 5 min walk to major shopping and dining makes my life easy. It's cheap so it's hard to give this a bad review but it's not a great hotel. It's a very weird layout. Almost like they repurposed some pre-existing building and then just made it work... Was clean, quiet, staff were friendly... It's ok.

We originally got a room that was smoky probably due to previous guests but the housekeeping did not do a good job of getting rid of the smokiness (take note the hotel is supposed to be non smoking I think). We called the reception who proceeds to change our room to another floor and they made sure this time there's no ciggarette smell. That wasted a bit of our time but a good gesture to change our...
The location is super convenient, and the room size is quite spacious for Japan. The view from the front desk floor is also really nice; I even saw Kanazawa's first snow on the day I checked out.

The hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff were kind and friendly. However, my room was very cold. Even with the air conditioning on, the comforter was so thin that I had to sleep with my down jacket on top of it at night.
The room was extremely spacious and clean, it does give retro feeling, but everything is functional and again very very clean. I was able to check in at 4 am on extremely short notice but in additional night so I could spend the rest of the morning sleeping and the hotel accommodated me. Very nice stay overall :)

The washlet was good, but the toilet seat was not heated. It was fine in the summer, but it was tough in the cold winter.
It was very clean and easy to access, but the cleaning carts lined up in the hallway before check-out in the morning were a nuisance for guests with suitcases.
The hotel is good; although a bit old, it's well-maintained. The windows open wide, offering excellent ventilation. There's also a wired internet port available. The room has a fridge, but the TV is a bit small. In the bathroom, the taps aren't thermostatic; they're old-style double-knob controls, making temperature adjustment quite tricky. The room door uses a mechanical key, which I was worried about...
Nothing special, just an ordinary hotel. It was small and the bathroom smelled of sewage.
The young man at the front desk of the store has a good attitude and is very kind. Every question will be answered. The older ones may have been cheated by Chinese people before, so they are very wary. Kakegawa, 4-1 Yasakicho 🧭 Map
There was a convenience store and an izakaya nearby, which was nice. There was also a nearby affiliated parking lot. My room was a corner room connected to an exterior staircase, but there was no consideration for entering and exiting, so it was noisy. I don't think it's suitable for people who are sensitive to noise.
The building is a little old, but the toilet has a washlet and a heated seat, so I'm very satisfied with the price. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you can use the in-house clothing, razors, and anything else you need. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
It's an old hotel, but it's been renovated. The fixtures and air conditioning are old, and the noise from the air conditioner is a bit annoying. It's close to the station, reasonably priced, and the rooms are spacious, so I think it's a good choice. I had a comfortable stay.
The building is a bit dated. The bed was a little too hard for me. The bathroom had a slight drainpipe smell, which might be a bit noticeable. However, the cleaning was thorough, and I was otherwise satisfied. A great hotel with great value for money.
I'm glad I was able to stay there for a cheaper price than I expected. I was worried about the room because it was cheap, but it was surprisingly clean.
The hotel is average and not very cost-effective. It's not close to the station. Breakfast is a bento, which is not suitable for Chinese tastes. However, the front desk staff was quite enthusiastic and I hope there are more noodles to choose from for breakfast.

Very Nice Hotel, Clean and Good Station, Convenience store close to Hotel
Not the greatest for the location. The use of washing machine and dryer inside the room is a plus together with a much bigger room heater, but the bed is not to our liking. So sleeps were not that comfortable. The size of the room overall is much bigger for sure. Didn't use much of other hotel facilities
The room was very spacious, equipped with a sofa, washing machine, dryer, and a sink. The service was also excellent. However, the heating wasn't very strong, which might be due to the room's large size.
Since the accommodation was for students taking exams, I thought it would have been nice to have a study room.

Delicious foods and drink. It is a all_inclusive hotel. good onsen and a Warm and wide room condition.
Solo room plan. Got the highest floor with a ocean view, tatami room. Pretty far out from the station but reachable with city bus. It’s near the cliffs attraction and walkable to the ocean hot spring. Checkout was 12pm so you have plenty of time to soak in the hot spring/hot tub/pool/morning walk Buffet food depends on season but better than normal. Had grill/bbq for dinner and breakfast during my...
Nice location, two good play areas for kids, staff are great and I liked the buffet. However the room was quite old, with peeling wallpaper, a lot of stains, and it smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom and tatami seemed new, and sheets, bed, towels etc were clean and comfortable. So room felt old, but not dirty. My main issue was that pop music was playing loudly outside by the pool beyond 11pm at night...
We went in December and used the Wakayama refresh campaign. We had a nice staycation time and enjoy the playing area for kids, foot bath, karaoke, and onsen. They also have an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a book corner. It’s a good place if you plan only stay in the hotel. The room was a bit old but it’s okay. The options for dinner and breakfast not much.
Great Onsen, wonderful outside warm swimming pool and hot tubs, vast tasty buffet, fun play areas for little kids and table tennis / amusements for older kids. Walking distance to cliffs. Room was a little dated and ours had a remaining smoking odour but there was lots of space for 6 people and we were only in it for sleeping because there was so much to do.

It's inexpensive and the bath is just the right size for up to 5 people. Meals are also about 300 meters away. There is a family restaurant where you can have a fun meal. Takasaki, Kuzomachi 31-1, 370-0058 Takasaki, Prefektura Gumma, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
This is the most recommended city hotel in Takasaki. There's a convenience store right next door, plenty of restaurants nearby, a large public bath, five free massage chairs, and more. My only request: a Qi-compatible wireless charger. I arrived empty-handed due to a sudden errand, so while I was able to borrow a charger for my iPhone and iPad at the front desk, I couldn't charge my Apple Watch.
I stayed there on a weekday. It was a bit of a walk from the station, passing other business hotels along the way. I booked a non-smoking single room. The room was average size and clean, and it was nice. I could check the public bath's occupancy status from my room. Maybe it was just a coincidence? I had it all to myself. I usually stay at hotels near the station, but the price had almost doubled, so I tried this hotel for the first time. First of all, the room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Takasaki after canyoning in Minakami on our vacation. The hotel room felt a bit small as we had 4 people and had to get 2 rooms. The beds were just big enough for 2 people. We had a wonderful traditional Japanese breakfast. We didn't have time to try the public bath.
The restaurant has been renovated and opened for breakfast. There is no clock in the restaurant. Breakfast curry is shabashaba. Other than that, it is a comfortable and good hotel. It sounds like a mysterious rattling sound. ..
A cover that does not allow you to see the back of the washbasin from the bathtub is good! Of a single room It would be convenient if there was an outlet at the bedside I wonder if you can change the unused one-sided switch to an outlet.

The Japanese-style room had four tatami mats, and we had to make our own beds. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is acceptable. The surrounding area isn't lively, and there isn't much around. The room itself was quite spacious, though, and we could fully open our suitcases.
First time staying in a hostel, and overall it was good, except for the top bunk being a bit inconvenient. You also have to be mindful of keeping quiet at all times and being extra careful when tidying your belongings. So, it's probably best for those with minimal luggage who just need a place to sleep.
