It's located right near Takasago Station, so if you're coming by car, you'll need to reserve a parking space. It's reasonably priced, and the rooms are generally clean, but the linoleum floors might be a matter of personal preference. (I prefer carpet because I like to be barefoot.) I've stayed in two hostels in Osaka, the other being Acro Capsule. Both are quite close in location, with Acro right next to Dotonbori. This was the most satisfying hostel I stayed at in Japan. It was clean and tidy, the vanity room was well-equipped, and I never had to worry about finding space. The capsule provided excellent privacy.

Overall decent stay. Personnel was very friendly. One downside was the air ventilation within the capsule. It wasn’t fully dust free and as I am allergic to that I had a runny nose afterwards. A more thorough cleaning would help. Otherwise I would recommend the place.

First impression is new and not so small. However, the toilet is small and the towels are small and thin. . The air conditioning works well and the elevators are fast. It's nice to have new equipment. It's not far from the Escha exit, so I think it's comfortable if you use it sparingly.

The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

The room was spotless! However, the TV wasn't working, which was a bit confusing. Also, I'm not sure if the air purifier had water in it because even after I turned it on, I couldn't tell if it was actually running.

If you don't mind traveling a bit to get into Tokyo (~40 min) it's a great, relatively cheap, place to stay with very friendly local people

The hotel is just three bus stops away from Hakata Station, making it very convenient to get around. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so there’s no need to worry when you get hungry. Best of all, you can even walk to Ichiran Ramen from the hotel. The room isn’t very large, but it doesn’t feel cramped at all. If I visit Fukuoka again, I would definitely stay here.

The bath had a bad smell, it wasn’t bad enough to not stay there and I couldn’t see any obvious mold but I wouldn’t have stayed there more than 2 nights. Apart from that it was quite alright and looking at the price it was not too bad all in all.
