Kawasaki, 11-2 Ogawacho 🧭 Map
The rooms and onsen (hot spring) were nice, and the location was ideal, very close to Keikyu Kawasaki and JR Kawasaki lines, within a 10-minute walk. It's convenient for getting to the airport and other places, and there are shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment options nearby. However, the service was lacking. Check-in was only at 4 PM, and they would urge me to check out if I was even a...
The location is good, and I use it when I go to a certain yakiniku restaurant. Parking is inconvenient, and the parking in the neighborhood is expensive, so be careful.
It was beautiful! Next time I'd like to try the hot springs too ❤️❤️
Not the standard hotel, the key room need to keep by frontdesk
Room is super small but if you're solo traveller it should be fine. Overall is super clean though!
The exterior is a little dated, but the interior is clean.
Drink service is available.
The large public bath is quite compact.
If it were cheaper, I might come back.

Himeji, Takasago cho Asahi machi 2-7-11,Takasago 🧭 Map
It's located right near Takasago Station, so if you're coming by car, you'll need to reserve a parking space. It's reasonably priced, and the rooms are generally clean, but the linoleum floors might be a matter of personal preference. (I prefer carpet because I like to be barefoot.) If you don't want cleaning, you'll get instant noodles and a drink!
Foods are limited but decent. Available till 9AM. Staffs are courteous.
Access to bathroom is very narrow. Bathroom is small. It is bigger disadvantage. Shaving foam will not be provided. Drinks are complimentary and it can be accessed till 10 pm. Cycles are available for rent. 200 yen per day. One pillow and one towel are given. Additional items are to be requested. It is located backside of the Takasago...
Good one to stay in Takadago. Room is small and a bit costly but overally it is clean and organized.
Has the perfect sunrise view. 😍

Osaka, 1-chome-9-35 Itachibori Nishi-ku 🧭 Map
I've stayed in two hostels in Osaka, the other being Acro Capsule. Both are quite close in location, with Acro right next to Dotonbori. At this hostel, the front desk on the first floor has Japanese and Indian staff. The first floor also features shoe lockers (where you take off your shoes), a dining area (with breakfast), and the front desk provides disposable slippers, bath towels, and hand towels...
This was the most satisfying hostel I stayed at in Japan. It was clean and tidy, the vanity room was well-equipped, and I never had to worry about finding space. The capsule provided excellent privacy.
Overall decent stay. Personnel was very friendly. One downside was the air ventilation within the capsule. It wasn’t fully dust free and as I am allergic to that I had a runny nose afterwards. A more thorough cleaning would help. Otherwise I would recommend the place.
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was great. Even with my mild潔癖 (germaphobia) and light sleep, I found it perfectly acceptable. The hotel hosts guests from all over the world, and during my stay, everyone on my floor was quiet and considerate. The hotel provides a full set of toiletries, including facial cleanser, toner, and lotion, as well as hair dryers and...
Even though the price dropped right after I booked, this hotel still exceeded my expectations. It's quite self-service, but everything is incredibly clean, including the shared showers. The mattress was super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone was quiet, well-mannered, and friendly, creating a really warm atmosphere.
It’s great for solo traveller. The place is clean and well-organised. People around are very nice and polite, highly recommend if you plan to travel alone. The location is great as well whereby there’re convenient stores, bus stop and metro station by walking.

The staff were all excellent. Due to heavy snow on the roads, dragging luggage 800 meters from the JR station was a real struggle. The front desk was so helpful; they booked a taxi for us early in the morning and even packed breakfast for us to take on the go. It felt incredibly warm and thoughtful. The cleanliness was quite good, though the facilities are a bit old, and the value for money isn't quite...
Good location with friendly staff.
Hotel is central n decently convenient as many restaurants nearby. But condition of the hotel is very run down. Torn wallpaper, cracked wash basin.
Breakfast was bento style and delicious.
The building is old, but the room was clean.
Amenities were minimal and there was no lotion or other amenities.
It is close to Abashiri Station and the roadside station, so it is easy to get to by train or bus.
There is a 7-Eleven near the hotel.
There is a 7-11 convenience store not far away when you walk to the left from the hotel. Across the bridge from the 7-11 is the largest local supermarket. The things there are very cheap, and there are discounts on fresh food after 5 o'clock. A 5-minute walk to the right of the hotel is the bus hub, which goes to various attractions and long-distance buses. A little further ahead is the restaurant...

It was very convenient to go to the station building as it was close to the station. The hotel and facilities are old, but everything is provided so I didn't feel particularly inconvenienced.
The rooms and facilities are old, but the location is good, right in front of the station, and there is a ceramic bath facility, and we were given a free ticket.
overall good stay with unique ceramic bath as well. daily change of towels
Very close to Station. Staff are Ok with English talking and friendly.
The location is very good. It is close to Niigata JR Station and the airport bus is also convenient.
The surrounding is very quiet. It is not in the downtown area. There are bookstores, shopping malls and restaurants nearby.
The room was a good size. The heater was too strong and a bit hot (lowest setting)
Check-in time is close to check-out time. Great

I really loved this Onsen. I made regular use of it and was worth driving down to from Kagoshima City everytime.
There are plenty of baths with varying temperatures, the big.... Tubs or barrels I don't know how to describe them, are particularly relaxing; especially under a clear sky at night.
The steam room was designed very well.
The private rooms are not not overly expensive at all and are worth...
The food was great. The location is disappointing.
The onsens are simply amazing. The best we visited in Japan
I went to the hot springs with my daughter who had come back home for the first time in a while. It was nice to be able to see the starry sky from the open-air bath.
We didn't order a set meal, but ate in the restaurant inside the building, but there were many locals there and the food was delicious, so I could see why it's so popular.
The room was spacious and even had a small table. The price was...
Stayed a second night and were moved to an older part of hotel. Not a problem, room was spacious and comfortable with a great view.
Would stay again if in the area.

It is a little far from Ibusuki Station.
Guests staying at Kokoro no Yado can use the neighboring Kokoro no Yu baths as many times as they like, but the baths are open until 10pm, so I thought the bath times were shorter than at other hot spring inns.
There are a wide variety of baths, including a jacuzzi and sauna in the indoor bath, a tub bath, a bath where you can use a mud pack, and a carbonated...

My stay at HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi was fine overall — nothing standout, but nothing terrible either.
The room was standard for Japan: small, compact, and functional. It had everything I needed for a short stay, but don’t expect much space or anything particularly memorable.
Service was also standard — polite and efficient, but very minimal interaction.
The location is the strongest...
Booked this mainly because it was close to Nagoya Station (350m). But during our 3 night-stay we used more the Kamejima Station (550m) as starting point to get around the city.
• Check-in and check-out processes were both easy and quick
• Room 3/5
We liked that there was a microwave provided in the room
• Cleanliness 4/5
• Facilities 3/5
• Breakfast was included. Know that it is packed and to be collected...
Hotel room & toilet clean & tidy. Bed mattress was comfortable. Room with microwave, fridge & kettle. Convenient for travellers. Location was strategy, very near to MRT Station. Recommended
clean. there is a water dispenser too at the lobby. good location too (walking distance to nagoya st and shishimaru ramen 😊
Need a little walk from the station. Clean and small room but very accommodating. The bed was fluffy, water pressure at bathroom was great as well. Bathtub with warm water is a plus point if you wanna relax after exploring Nagoya. TV worked great.
First impression is new and not so small. However, the toilet is small and the towels are small and thin. . The air conditioning works well and the elevators are fast. It's nice to have new equipment. It's not far from the Escha exit, so I think it's comfortable if you use it sparingly.

Went with a friend this time. They have free hot springs/baths, and it wasn't too crowded. The best part is it's super, super cheap and the location is very convenient, easily accessible whether you have a car or not.
The room was great, and the location was perfect. Compared to other hotels, it offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend staying here! Everyone should definitely choose this hotel; we had a very comfortable stay.
Great location, nice cute onsen.
Might be slightly understaffed, so the check in counter helps although having to ring a staff to use that counter kinda negates some of that automatic-ness.
Good location being right across the bus and train station.
The staff are nice and accommodating. Went there earlier than check in time but I was able to leave my luggage. I got to visit the Beppu Jigokus while I was out!
During check in, i was assisted by the front desk and that made the process a lot quicker. All front desk staff I spoke to spoke English! Check out was done easily by giving the...
This hotel is conveniently situated opposite the Beppu Station. Free parking is provided beside the hotel. We booked semi-double bed room and was give a spacious triple room. Thanks!
The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. The room was spotless! However, the TV wasn't working, which was a bit confusing. Also, I'm not sure if the air purifier had water in it because even after I turned it on, I couldn't tell if it was actually running.
If you don't mind traveling a bit to get into Tokyo (~40 min) it's a great, relatively cheap, place to stay with very friendly local people
Nice hotel for the price, the room was a little stuffy and old though.
Great location, only 20 minutes to Ueno.
Perfect for solo travelers. It's very close to the station and easy to find.
I like this place very near the train station wider rooms the only problem is the elevator starts in 2nd flr you need to use stairs to go to 2nd flr very inconvenient if u have many luggage

A very good and clean hotel. Although it's an older hotel and a bit dated, it's still quite nice. It's very convenient for getting around, making it my top choice for business trips. I'll definitely choose to stay here again for future business travel!
Super convenient location! We enjoyed the home-style cooked breakfast. The free curry with rice service at night was such a nice touch and very much appreciated. We are also grateful for the facial and hair product sachets provided. They were a relief for our dry skin. The selection of tea bags was great too! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

It was an amazing stay, cleanliness and amenities were great! Would definitely stay again. However, it is located in an “alleyway” so it may be scary for females to walk back to the hotel at night. Other than that, recommended to book a stay here!
The room was tiny, but it had everything I needed. Hygiene was good, and the location was convenient for getting around. You can grab toiletries and bottled water downstairs, and there are extra pillows and towels by the elevator. Plus, the front desk offers complimentary fruit. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.

Excellent service and a fantastic location! It's surrounded by a bustling commercial street, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
Great location with basic amenities. Good for tourist. Well recommended and situated in a good location Laundry facilities can be improved by having paid laundry and the machine being lockable. Had laundry taken out inconsiderate users when it’s not finished yet
The location is great!
The wifi was problematic though...we ended up using our own sim cards.
Facilties are a bit old, especially the heating. There's only 4 settings, not like an aircon remote.
But otherwise beds are comfy and there was sufficient space for luggages.
Old hotel with an entrance right at the station. Living on lower floors guarantees vibration from the trains and sound from the street. Location itself is great and price is adequate for the location.
The location couldn't be better. It's super convenient for visiting Arashiyama, Uji, and other places. Downstairs, you'll find popular shopping spots like Shinkyogoku Shopping Street, and Takashimaya is right across the street.
The Kyoto Central Hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the Hankyu station exit. The facilities are a bit dated, and you don't need a key card for power, but there are very few outlets. It is located right in front of the ferry terminal connecting Mojiko Port and Karato, so although it is far from Shimonoseki, I think it has very good access to tourist spots.
The hotel is very old fashioned. The room is dated and small. The staff is not helpful. Honestly, we won’t come back again.
The ocean/sea view from this hotel is MAGNIFICENT & BREATHTAKING! Location is FANTASTIC ... 3 mins walk to karato fish market. I would definitely come back here to stay even tho it is an older hotel & dated. But the rooms are clean & decent. Car park is free. One full day stay is enough as other than the fish market, sadly, the town is quite dead.
The room is not small, the location of the hotel is also very good, and you can see the beautiful scenery from the balcony.
If you're having dinner in Shimonoseki, this hotel is great! The food is close and the view from the window is amazing!!!

Even during the busy December season, you can stay here for as little as ¥3,800 per night.
Online prepayment is available; however, Kitakyushu City’s accommodation tax must be paid separately in cash at the hotel (¥200).
Including the tax, the total came to ¥4,000.
The room is extremely small and the facilities are quite old.
If you are only looking for a place to sleep, it should be fine.
That said...
Location not the best but walkable to most of the tourists places .. good value for a room , free coffee on t$3 ground floor, restaurant are around the hotel.
It's a little far from Kokura Station, but within walking distance, and it's close to the downtown area, so it's convenient.
However, while it's convenient, be careful as there are groups of drunk people who shout strange things in the early hours of the morning.
The hotel itself is well-equipped.
It's a bit of a walk from Kokura Station, but it's close to the food and drink district so it's a great place for bar hopping.
We stayed here for two with no meals included, but it was close to the city center and was spacious enough for just sleeping. It had all the basic amenities and was good value for money, so I'd like to stay here again if I come to Kokura.
The room is compact and fine for a one night stay. The walls are thin and the doors are thin so you can easily hear the sounds from the hallway and the neighboring rooms.
