This was such a nice hotel to stay in, within eyesight and a 6 minute walk of the ferry terminal. So convenient! The staff was very friendly and helpful in English. They even gave us a morning ride to the trail head to hike Mt Rishiri. The best part was the food! The dinner was a beautiful spread of dishes and so tasty. Breakfast was the same. We had a perfect view of Mt Rishiri and the harbour. Also...
Airport pick-up and drop-off is very convenient, dinner is plentiful, and the mountain behind the building is beautiful.
Not far from the pier, when the boat arrives, elderly staff members holding banners will be waiting at the exit to pick up and drop off guests (the banners are all in Japanese, so be sure to check beforehand to see if they are Japanese). The hotel's exterior looks very ordinary, not as good as other hotels of the same level on Rebun Island. Because of the rain, the sea view was just average. The rooms...
Very good location! Just few minutes walk to the ferry terminal! Friendly staff, nice environment! We booked a room with 2 meals in a very reasonable price!
The location is great, close to the ferry terminal and Cape Peshi. After dinner, we went outside and saw the sun setting over Mount Rishiri, and it was very beautiful, with the peak looming in the darkness. The room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I had eaten the sea urchin in Wakkanai and Rebun Island, but this one was also very delicious. The nostalgic seasoned boiled fish and chawanmushi reminded...
The old man at the front desk was very attentive. When he learned that I was going to climb Mount Rishiri, he specially drove me along the way. Since I might not be able to catch dinner until I come back from hiking at night, my uncle still specially reserved dinner for me and waited for me to come back.
We stayed for 5 days and had room (suite) 502. We enjoyed every aspect of this lovely hotel, for example each morning we had a different breakfast, beautifully prepared and more than enough. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice view at the mountain. Good supermarkt (Co-op) nearby.
Far from the station, but close to the attractions, the food is average, everything else is OK
I checked into the hotel again after the epidemic. The front desk service was very polite and welcoming. The hotel is located on T-shaped street. It is very close to Mount Hakodate, the church group and Hakodate Port. The room layout is reasonable and has various hand-brewed coffees and CD players. It is also suitable for daze. I have the impression that I stayed here for the third time.
Very nice staff and the included breakfast was incredibly delicious
Great
Very kind attentive hotel staff
Great breakfast, also prepared vegan
Great view from room
Would come back next time in Hakkodate
This was my first time staying here.
Although check-in was late, at around 9pm, they handled it with a smile. However, it was a shame that I missed out on the alcoholic drink service in the lobby.
The room was spacious and very convenient. The bed was wide enough that I, who am 156cm tall, could sleep sideways without any problems.
As for breakfast, the main dish was a colorful salad. The corn soup...
The location is very good. Hotel is a bit old but clean. No food service, which is a bit disappoint. In general is Ok.
Nice location if you drive to there. Old japanese style room. Convenience store is just near the building.
The location was good for sightseeing.
However, the facilities were old and the cleaning was poor.
About 20 minutes walk from the station. It's fine except for the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. There is a large bath, but I was too tired to go. It's a cheap and good place to stay near Hakodate Station.
I had cold tanuki soba. It was a very good 28 soba. There is also a daily lunch, and I think it's a little-known spot. However, the inside of the store is too dark and it is difficult to find the menu (laughs)
cheap!
Bedrock bath is the best! !
Yonaki soba is also great!
It's super hot with a coupon that can be used at the Seicomart next door! !
Because it is far from the city center, it is essential to use the streetcar, but it was a wonderful little-known hotel.
The room was outdated, but it was clean and the letter was nice.
It was the best little-known spot hotel.
I definitely want to use it again!
I especially loved that the room had an oil heater! I'm sensitive to air conditioning drafts, so that was a huge relief. Even without the AC on, it stayed warm and cozy, even when it was below freezing outside. Although the building is old, the facilities and plumbing were new and clean, which made my stay very satisfying!
Super comfortable stay for 4 nights, Japanese style room is not big, but enough for my 4 adults. The breakfast was delicious and absolutely great value for a wonderful start to every day of my trip. Plus there is a hot spring pool, cool🛀. The counter staff was polite, to thank them for helping me book the mountain stream return express bus. 🙇
The location is convenient, very close to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The only drawback is that the double bed is a bit small and the room is not soundproof. Everything else is good.
there’s a massaging room and free rent comics! Such a good facility and the restaurant make a good dishes, thank you so much, it’s perfect
Awsome hotel in sapporo, even though the room is small but have lots of add on facilities such as public bath, comic book corner, massage chair, and lots item on loan.
The accommodation is clean and simple. The owner is very welcoming (even though he smokes).
Decent place for the price. Clean even if the building is a bit old. It actually has its charm. Be warned, there are no combini or restaurant around there. And if you take the train make sure there is one coming back or you will.have to pay for a cab to get back.
It is a very worthwhile accommodation experience with two meals for one stay. The dinner is a two-course set menu with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking, and the service is attentive and attentive.
The bathhouse is large and clean, the public space is spacious, the bed in the room is large, and there is a high chair by the window to rest and watch the scenery. The scenery outside the window is...
The seafood appetizer for dinner was very stale. There was no air conditioning in the room. There was no elevator, so we carried our 29-inch suitcase to the third floor.
The service staff are friendly, the environment is ordinary, and the equipment is ordinary.
We booked two rooms for two people.
The total cost is NT$10,778.
There is a 500 yen (per room) hot spring entrance tax when you check out....
the staff is kind of rude. I understand their command of English language is limited. But the attitude can be seen through body language.
There is no elevator in the hotel, you need to carry your own luggage, and you need to move three flights of stairs by yourself. The dinner is mediocre, and the breakfast is even worse! The hotel is old! There is no air conditioning in the hotel (lobby and room)!
Everything is great and definitely we will come back to staying here again
Lovely stay at Deer Valley, staff were great, very friendly. Really liked that meals were served at your table - we had stayed at a few other places recently that were all buffet style. The food was very very nice, and the italian dinner focus was a nice change from several weeks of japanese food. Breakfast was a large american plate, which also included a tasty curry soup (love that about hokkaido...
1. The hotel's location is best suited for those traveling by car.
2. The Japanese-style dinner and breakfast package (half-board) was excellent, especially with the crab included.
3. Both the indoor and outdoor hot spring baths were spacious and well-maintained.
4. The front desk staff were very friendly.
5. It's not far from the ski resort, making it a great choice for skiers.
Nestled on a mountain outside Furano, a taxi ride to the hotel costs around 3000 JPY. It boasts hot spring facilities, and if you visit in mid-July, you'll be treated to extensive lavender fields covering the slopes.
The hotel is a bit dated but reasonably priced. However, its mountain location makes it very inconvenient for guests without a car.
The facilities had a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of school trips.
Great dinner and breakfast. For the price, facilities are rather tired.
Close to many attractions in Furano, cozy hotel with comfortable room.
Staff were very friendly, everything was clean and as expected. Very close to Hanazono. Very happy with experience.
The house was nestled in the woods, very quiet, and the snow view outside the window was beautiful, like something out of a comic book. The owner (male) was a foreigner (from Europe), but spoke excellent Chinese. He could easily pronounce some Chinese characters, and his pronunciation was very standard, even better than many Chinese people like myself—impressive! The owner loved Chinese food and culture...
Overall, the stay was excellent. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to get around; the rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. The front desk staff and other personnel were friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
Big accommodation, easy to find Parking is a waste of money, not good here.
We booked a private room for 1 king as a last minute extension of our ski trip to be close to hanazono ski resort. The common living room area/lobby is extremely cosy with complimentary hot tea and coffee that can be enjoyed by the fireplace throughout the day. Super comforting after a cold day out. We also got to meet the owner Cliff who helped us get to and back from the resort, train and neighbouring...
Unparalleled attention to guests! staff dropped and picked us from the resort and to Kutchan (for dinner and JR stn). Helped recommend a yummy Gosetsu tempura udon restaurant and made reservations. Helped with our Chitose train schedule. Great location for the new Honozano. 3-5 min drive from Honozano 308. Common area is warm and cozy with the Georgian decor and fireplace. Not a “hotel room” experience...
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
The room was beautiful and clean, with a lovely lake view outside the window. So pretty! 😊
Out of the three onsen hotels I stayed at in Lake Shikotsu, Suizantei, which is popular online and hard to book, was actually quite average with no scenic views from its onsen. Then there was the extremely overpriced Aigashiro, which was even worse – no service, no ambiance. Marukoma was my last stay and also the cheapest. Reviews online were mixed, but seeing it was a century-old onsen, I wanted to...
The view is really beautiful, like a painting, the onsen is very good, interestingly there is a certain time given for photos and videos, there are special hours when the onsen is closed.
Excellent ryokan, great facilities, very clean, staff are amazing. Free parking helped. The breakfast spread was the best I had at any Japanese ryokans.
I highly recommend driving there if you have a rental car! They even gave us soba and sake, so even though we didn't do the kaiseki dinner, we were full and well-rested. The open-air bath was absolutely wonderful; I want to go back again!!
Absolutely beautiful. Photo taken in the onsen is allowed when they are cleaning it
I extended my stay for another day for a total of 6 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Dave san made everything so easy. He recommended a ski rental shop, helped me to purchase the lift pass and every day he dropped me off or picked me up at the ski place. The breakfast every morning was also wonderful. Dave's wife made very tasty meals. And the portion was perfect for me to start a day of high...
We stayed here for a couple of nights and Dave the owner was so helpful. He speaks limited English but tried to help us out wherever possible. He took us to all the places that we needed to go and picked us up free of charge. It was my daughters birthday while we were there and he organised a cake for her and a bottle of champagne for us free of charge.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is...
