When I checked in, I received Chateraise Baumkuchen. The hospitality felt truly luxurious, like a proper hotel experience. The spa was spacious, and the open-air bath in the snow was absolutely amazing.
The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the desserts and ice cream were the same delicious Chateraise products you'd buy in their stores – I ate so much!
I'd love to visit again in the summer...
The restaurant buffet was delicious.
I had to go to a conference, but I wanted to make some fun memories for my kids, so I stayed here with them, as it has a pool. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Two of the water slides were closed, so it seems they're only open every day on weekends this month. Even without them, we were able to play in the pool until 9:00 PM and then relax in the hot springs.
The buffet had a variety of options and was delicious. I was able to eat a lot of crab, which was great. There was a TV in the bathroom in the room. The pool and hot springs were great. If you're afraid of heights, the elevator might be scary... I'll post a photo, even though it's not very photogenic.
It was so amazing I've already booked another trip and will be going two more times this year!
Service was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room is clean. Buffet choice is awesome.
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
The lobby has a very upscale feel, but the rooms are quite ordinary with older facilities. It seems to primarily cater to people who come for skiing in the surrounding area. If you're not skiing, it's probably not worth the price.
A really nice hotel! They even had a talk about Asahiyama Zoo in the evening, though it was unfortunately only in Japanese. The welcome drinks were delicious, the service was excellent, and breakfast was especially tasty. Thumbs up!
Went in December
Lobby area is very nicely decorated
Service was very prompt and helpful
Welcome drink can offer a couple more variety eg coffee
The cafe and bar is very cosy. Had a drink there
Suggest to make the place warmer as it’s winter and can be quite cold
The room is small expected and satisfactory
Good use of small space
Bathroom has all amenities
There is laundromat
Hotel lobby is big and the hotel staff is warm welcoming the guest, staff can speak English, onsen is good, free drink and ice cream is provided, can enjoy after onsen! But this hotel no parking, need park outside public parking with a short walking distance.
good location, can find it easily. Nice christmas decoration at the loby
Room location is great and quiet at the same time
Spa amenities is basic yet sufficient for winter
Bed was comfortable
Parking needed to cross the road on thick snow, something to look into
The hotel's location is fantastic, right by Nakajima Park. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a welcome drink upon checking in. There's also a convenience store nearby, which was really handy for grabbing snacks and water.
Must give a shout-out to the service here! The staff's warmth and attentiveness exceeded my expectations. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, made me feel right at home. The location is also a major highlight of this hotel, being exceptionally convenient for tourists. It was a thoroughly pleasant stay.
This hotel is super close to Nakajima-Koen subway station, Exit 3, just about a 3-minute walk. Nakajima Park is right downstairs, which was really convenient for our kids to play in the snow. The hotel even provides snow gear, which was a thoughtful touch and saved us the hassle of bringing our own. However, the soundproofing isn't great, especially for the family rooms which are right next to the...
The accommodation is not far from the train station, and the garden view is absolutely beautiful and very impressive. The room is very spacious and extremely clean. The staff are very kind and friendly. From the accommodation, it’s easy to walk to the tourist areas, and even Sapporo is not far on foot. Transportation is very convenient, the view is great, and there are many restaurants and convenience...
Excellent service and environment.
Nice view and convenient location
I stayed here for five days and four nights. The room was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The mountain view from the window was breathtaking. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located right next to the famous Nakajima Park, and the snowy scenery there was absolutely beautiful. It’s also very close to the Nakajima Koen subway station, which...

Excellent hotel, high prices but you get what you’re paying for
I go here every year! This year was my first time seeing snow, and even though I don't ski, I absolutely love Hokkaido's food and weather. It was great to see Hokkaido with snow, which gave it a different charm than in autumn! Having Mount Yotei right in front of me was truly amazing! The hotel service was also excellent. I'm hoping to visit again next year during the autumn leaf season!
Fabulous hotel in Niseko, sorry, it’s top hotel in the world !!!!!!!!! Must come back again for it!!!!!!!
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The room is spacious, and communication with the front desk was smooth. There are also many restaurants (not saying they're amazing, but definitely much better than the Ritz-Carlton we stayed at the second night). If you have to choose between the two, absolutely do not stay at the Ritz-Carlton! It's unbelievably terrible.
Rooms are wonderful with a dining table and sofa.
Restaurants are Difficult to book.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s architecture, environment, interior design, and lighting design were all truly wonderful. We were consistently impressed by the excellence of service, which made our visit even more memorable.
The food and beverage service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The front desk and transportation team were outstanding in assisting us with our trip...
So close to Station, shopping and Sapporo activities.
Building is a bit old, as you can see rome wear and tear here and there. Despite that, very clean and orderly.
Amenities (soap, shampoo, razor, skin care) are good. Bed, pillows and blanket very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent: fresh pancakes cooked by a chef, fresh honey straight off the honeycomb!!!, vast array of western and Japanese food. Lacks nothing imo.
Customer service is...
Location and buffet was the reason it got 3 stars. Lost 2 stars for the disgraceful wifi. In 2020 I expected better internet. It was unusable, came here in 2018 and the internet was the same. Trying to lookup locations or find out where to go was hopeless. We had to go to the free JR station wifi to do anything.
Obviously haven’t renovated for ages. Facility is so outdated. However their breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in Japan
Stayed here for 7 nights. Very pleased with the room and breakfast. Also, great location and conveniently located.
Location is good. In the center of city. 10 minutes walk from Sapporo train station. Clean and sophisticated. Breakfast is super excellent. I love this hotel.

All three of us stayed in cabin Obihiro. We were really pleasantly surprised by the value of the hotel, boasting an onsen that was way better than we expected. Staff were helpful and good to us and everything was simple and easy!
Our room is probably called Family room, with 2 single beds and 1 queen bed. The room was pretty big for Japan size and kept clean. The furniture is old but it never bother us. The sento facility was the highlight for us. There's a Seico kombini across the road. We'll stay here again if opportunity arises.
I stayed overnight in Obihiro on my way back from a trip to Shihoro.
There's a moor hot spring, and I warmed up in it twice.
The breakfast buffet had a great view and was delicious!
I'm glad I stayed here.
The hotel arranged for my suitcase to be sent by courier,
and I took the morning bus back to New Chitose Airport.
The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
It's very close to Obihiro Station and has a hot spring, which was great. The hot spring was spacious and the open-air bath was nice. The food was also excellent, and I highly recommend it.
Food is great.
Instructions are clear.
Very relaxing.
A very reasonable price with onsen! The staff were super nice and will teach you about onsen even if you are going in for the first time!

The hotel has everything you need, perfect location just 2 minutes away from Hakodate Station. The baths are so relaxing and the staff very professional even when the pricing is reasonable, highly recommended!
Place was nice. Good services and an onsen included in room rate. I thought the buffet style breakfast was fairly priced and well made.
Unfortunately did not allow luggage storage after checkout. This was ok at most other hotels I stayed in Japan.
Good service and interesting hot bath / onsen in the hotel. There a salt sauna and salt onsen in. Comfortable room and bed too. U can see the hotel once get out from Hakodate station.
This place is awesome !!!! It’s new everything is clean and still nice !!! It’s a great value and conveniently located near the train station, it next to a super market. The exclusive public bath is awesome especially the out door section. The cold air with the warm clay bath felt great after a day of traveling on trains. The staff were really friendly and English speaking. I booked this last minute...
Super-duper breakfast. Maybe WBF means Wonderful BreakFast!? Simply excellent. Room small but normal for city centers.
In good location and Family Mart just next to it, everything is good but the toilet a bit small and drainage in the toilet is smelly. Perhaps the smell from the bathtub drain. Nonetheless we enjoyed the Onsen on floor. Hotel did provide all amenities which very convenient and friendly use. We will come back again and will recommend to other 👍
📍 Excellent Location

Second time here. Rooms are spacious and sparkling clean! Location is excellent! Walking distance from Odori Park and Susukino areas!
Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, a must-try when you're in Hokkaido!
Right downstairs from the hotel is Familymart. Across the street from the hotel is where Li Xiaolu goes shopping, and Ichiran Ramen is also on Li Xiaolu 5. This seafood BBQ place is a must-try!
Location is very good and connect to Family Mart. Nearby a lot of food options as well. Between Susukino area and Odori park which best of both.

Locations near to Sapporo station
Room such big for two luggage
The hotel's location is really convenient. I stayed here for 2 nights straight, then went to Asahikawa, and came back to Sapporo and stayed here again. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sapporo.
Cross Hotel Sapporo has a good location. Close to JR Station, very convenience and nearby have Family Mart.
Located 10 mins walk from the Sapporo station. Easy to get to touristy places. Overseeing the TV station from the room.
The public bath is great.
We got a room on the cross floor, that comes with living room, meal counter and separate bath and toilet.
That also gives us access to the lounge with very remarkable drinks and light bites.
The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Sapporo JR Station, and there are three convenience stores within 100 meters, making its location quite good. The room size is decent, and the facilities are relatively new. The staff are enthusiastic, and cleaning is prompt.
It's so dirty in the elevator, the carpet and the button. I think maybe there would be someone clean it later but it's still dirty in my whole stay there. The front staff is not friendly and show any welcome at all, even when i come for check in or ask for help. I stay with my friend and made mistake with the room type, so i want to change or make a new one( and i would contact and do it all by my...

Facilities and service are of course the same level as other Dormy Inn Premium hotels. Excellent location for the view but quite some distance from the train station. Need to take a taxi from train station if you are traveling with luggage.
I stayed one night in a Japanese style room.
The room was very clean, well organised, confortable and with a great view.
Staff at reception was very friendly too. Good price quality ratio.
Very clean room. Great view. Overlooking the Nusamai Bridge.
If not interested in lining up on the bridge to take photos of the famous sunset view, you'll be able to see from the room.
Great location and comfortable rooms.
Breakfast was generous and all the staff in the restaurant were very warm and welcoming.
Marked down on service as the first service interaction with the hotel was not the most pleasant. Arrived at around 6.30pm on 5 June 2025 and had a few questions regarding the self check in machine. The lady attending to guests at this station was very abrupt and gave the...
Stayed here for a brief overnight stop en route to Shiretoko. Twin room was spacious by Japanese standard, with small double beds. Car park charge reasonable at ¥600. We used the laundry. Washers free.
The roof top hot baths were great. The late evening Ramen was most welcome.
I have stayed in many Dormy Inn and would recommend.
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
Good location, close to teams and just a few blocks from good restaurants.
The rooms were very spacious with all the amenities including washing machine, big fridge, stove and a balcony.
Really good and reasonably priced hotel with onsen. Very modern and comfortable. A little bit away from the station, about 10 minute walk.
The place is very warm and spacious! Its really good with the price!
We loved our stay at Hotel Paco, Hakodate! The reception staff is very nice and courteous. Special shoutout to Abu Bakar for his very proactive support in the front office. The second very special shoutout to Christina for helping me find a lost jacket and even shipping it to my home in Tokyo!
The onsen is large with multiple baths and a must do at the hotel. There are several nice restaurants in walking...
The in-charge of the reception is awesome. We misplaced our key card. We have to pay an ¥11,000 fine. However, we found it a few days later. We contacted the gentleman in-charge of the reception and he immediately refunded our fine. We were very thankful for his assistance as he trusted us as we were posting the key card from another city in Japan.
Absolutely incredible hotel. Large rooms, well maintained, and a nice japanese-style breakfast buffet. Highly recommend going.

Although but old but overall is clean and good
ART Hotel Asahikawa has a great location, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, meeting our expectations, and overall it was a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and stress-free. Given the price and location, it offers excellent value for money. The breakfast...
The hotel is not exactly in the city centre, but is close to a park with easy access to local restaurants. The hotel room is spacious. The spa centre is well-equipped too. However, the hotel of this size only has two lifts, so the queue is always long.
Would have chosen a different hotel, staffs are not very welcoming. There is any amenities nearby. Breakfast is good and strongly recommended if you have decided this location.
15mins walk from the station, hotel is quite old, booked for gym but it only opens from 11am
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
The hotel's location is excellent, with rooms offering views of Mount Tengu and Otaru Station. They also provide a complimentary set menu dinner in the evenings. Funami-zaka Slope and the Sankaku Market are conveniently located just a short walk downstairs.
Right outside Otaru Station, this hotel has an excellent location. Across the street, you'll find a Don Quijote and a supermarket, and there's a LeTAO shop on the ground floor. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the facilities seem to have been renovated and have a very distinct Japanese style. They have a hot spring you can use daily, free Yakult in the mornings, and even complimentary ramen after...
Great location, just opposite the JR station. It’s just 2 mins walk to Sankaku Market. About 10mins walk to canal. If you have luggage and do not wanna drag around especially during winter, this is a great option. Room size is small but quite standard in Japan. Onsen is good and has a pin to enter for female. Breakfast is pretty good.
Hotel location is convenience. It’s just opposite the Otaru JR station. Walking distance to most of the attractions. The breakfast buffet also provide wide variety of options, can customise our own sashimi bowl. But the breakfast location is not very big so need to go early to avoid congestion.
The hotel is quite dated. Can see that the decor, furniture etc are all probably seen decades of use.
Regardless, the location was great - just outside the train station. I can leave my luggage immediately and go sightseeing.
Breakfast too was great. The eggs were so good.
Finally, there’s natural hot springs too that was amazing after a tiring day.
Nice breakfast, the location is perfect, right in front of Otaru station but the room is old
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
Overall, the hotel was great for a 4-5 days stay. Not as luxurious as the Hyatt over at Hanazono but it does its job.
The room was very spacious, and the outdoor onsen's night view was absolutely stunning. Snowflakes were falling overhead while the hot spring pool steamed, creating a truly blissful moment. The hotel offers direct ski-in/out access, which is incredibly convenient and hassle-free. Breakfast was abundant, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct service to Sapporo city and New Chitose...
The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's a shame they don't allow photos. However, the hotel's food was really terrible, I almost fainted from how bad it was. And dinner was 260 per person!
Excellent place to stay at during the winter. Location was amazing, located right on the ski slope allowing my son to ski in and out of the hotel. It is also quite peaceful and quiet as the property is not at an overly touristy area. Rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, 10/10
Ski in Ski out hotel ! Good Good
Sleek, clean rooms. Excellent service. Can rent ski equipment and gear from hotel, then ski right away. Onsen and massage were wonderful. Great buffet!

It was very convenient from the staion and bus terminal. Also a lot of nearby attraction like odori park, sapporo clock tower, and others. The room is spacious for a typical japanese hotel.
Everything was great overall, but the hotel breakfast only offered two set options, which was a bit basic.
Facilities: The hot water from the sink was consistently very weak, almost like there was no hot water at all, which was quite inconvenient.
Hygiene: The cleanliness was acceptable.
Environment: The surrounding area was good, close to the subway station, and the nearby shopping district was very convenient.
Service: The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and easy to communicate with.
The hotel is about 500 meters from JR Sapporo Station, and overall it's pretty good and clean. However, my window faced a wall, and the room didn't seem to have a fresh air system. Still, it offers excellent value for money.
Really nice, great location, amenities were great
Though room is small but for one person is fine. Room is new and neat. Pillow should give another one extra. Breakfast is good. 5min Walking distance to the airport express bus stop (Ana Crowne Plaza Hotel) and 5 min walk to the Odori Train Station. But location is slightly away from the Eatery area except the Lawson convenient store, just a few steps away.

I have to give a big shout-out to the hotel's service! The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped. The location was convenient, yet quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. It was a very satisfying stay!
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the JR station, and there are many convenient shopping and dining options nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room size is just right, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Highly recommended.
Hotel service: Excellent! We arrived before check-in time, but the lobby staff were incredibly friendly and politely stored our luggage. When we returned, our bags were already in the room. Thumbs up! 👍
This hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station. Hokkaido's Former Government Building is right across the street, and Hokkaido University is a short walk behind the hotel.
The front desk service was excellent; they thoughtfully explained everything about the hotel. The hotel breakfast can also be exchanged for a fish market breakfast – just confirm with the front desk. They were very helpful...
Food superb with varied choices. Amenities are provided at the lobby. Clean and friendly staff
The room was a bit small, but there was still space to open a suitcase. There's a public bath and a coin-operated laundry facility with dryers. The location is quite convenient, not far from the JR station's south exit, and close to the Hokkaido Government Office. I even caught a police band performance while walking by. If you don't mind walking, both Odori Park and Tanukikoji Shopping Street are...
Very near train station so it very easy in winter that are a lot of snow. Top Floor is Onsen a good warm up. For the next day. morning a normal Japanisch breakfast good for the price. Room is clean an small as Japan standard. No water bottle in room was given.
I always book this hotel when I visit to the Muroran. The price is reasonable and the hotel is very good.
The room was a bit small and a little dated. Breakfast was okay. Overall, it was decent for the price.
The hotel's location is great, within walking distance of the JR station.
From Lake Toya, we took the Donan Bus to Muroran to see Cape Chikyu. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Higashi-Muroran JR Station, very easy to find. It offers free hot springs, and the rooms are very clean. The front desk service was excellent; we asked them to call a taxi for us to Cape Chikyu. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Onsen was nice, although I don’t think it’s mineral onsen water. More of a hot water public bath but it was fun and relaxing nonetheless.
They have a library of popular manga in Japanese.
Room was clean and comfortable and had everything...
Excellent stay! The hotel is convenient and easy to access, with great transportation links. It's also very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, even bowing. There's a large public bath and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) on the basement level. It's super convenient for getting to the JR station and exploring Aomori at night.
The room isn't huge, but it's big enough to fit two 28-inch suitcases. The sink is outside the bathroom. The hot spring pool downstairs is tiny and I wouldn't recommend it – it didn't seem very clean and had a lot of hair in it. The hotel's location is decent, quite close to Exit 24 of Sapporo Station, and there's a convenience store nearby. There's also a good set-menu restaurant right next door....
Even though 'JR' is in the hotel's name, it's not actually that close to the JR station – about a 10-minute walk. There's a convenience store right across from the hotel. If convenience for getting around is a top priority for you, I wouldn't really recommend this place, especially if you're hauling luggage in snowy weather.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to Sapporo Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room itself is quite spacious for this type of hotel, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a large and comfortable onsen (hot spring bath) that's perfect for unwinding after a long journey.
Good location in downtown Sapporo. Excellent concierge service.
