I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Room was very clean I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and amazing view in the lounge. I will stay here again next time.

We had a nice one-night stay. The room had noticeable dust so could be cleaner, but other than that it was a good experience. All the necessary amenities provided, there also is a guest lounge with snacks.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kintetsu Universal City. We were so glad to receive a free pouch for each guest at check-in — such a thoughtful touch. Coming from Umeda Station, you'll want to find the East Mall, then walk straight until you reach exit M10 of WHITY PLAZA Izumi Square. The first time can be a bit confusing because there are so many people, so make sure to look up for signs. Once you've done it once, it's easy to navigate, and there's an elevator exit. The room size is moderate and has everything you need.

The front desk service was excellent, very friendly and efficient with a quick check-in. We were given a room on the 11th floor, which was quiet and clean. The room size was decent, and they offer luggage storage. The area around the hotel is quite lively with plenty of options for dining and shopping, making it very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located just an 8-minute walk from Hankyu Department Store, if you turn right and walk straight. Behind the hotel, there's a street called Higashi-dori with many snack shops. The M10 exit leads directly to the lively underground shopping street, Izumi no Hiroba, which connects all the way to the B1 floor of Hankyu Department Store, offering an incredible variety of food.

The hotel room was great, much larger and more spacious than I expected. It had all the amenities you could need. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Umeda, just a short walk away. Plus, there's a Don Quijote store nearby, which is handy for shopping.

After arriving at JR Osaka Station, I followed the navigation and eventually reached the hotel after a right turn and a left turn through a shopping street. It's a quiet oasis nestled in a bustling area. Since it's right above a shopping street, finding food is incredibly convenient with plenty of options. I arrived just before 11 AM and only wanted to store my luggage. I have to praise their system...

The hotel is conveniently located near the Umeda business district, making it easy to get around and shop. If you check in early, you can self-deposit your luggage. The room is very small; arranging luggage requires some skill, and there's barely enough space for two people to turn around.

Hotel location is good - near major transport hubs. Service staff helpful & attentive. Negative is Aircon/heater centrally controlled- so we were unable to control the temperature in our room. It was too warm for our comfort.

You might want to think twice about this one. It's located near a railway line, and even rooms on the 10th or 20th floor that face the tracks can be affected. The constant banging and clattering of trains on the rails (and because it's a railway, not a metro/light rail, trains run even in the middle of the night) can be quite disruptive. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider....

The hotel is very close to Osaka Station, just a 5-minute walk. They provide amenities like toner, lotion, facial cleanser, and makeup remover, so you don't need to bring your own. Breakfast is served on the 23rd floor with a wide variety of options and amazing views.

The room was a bit larger than I expected, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also very quiet, making for an overall good experience. The front desk service was excellent and very professional. The location is also quite good, very close to the station.

First time staying here. Its easily accessed from shin osaka station, about 8 mins walk. The room i stayed at comes with a very pretty view.

This is my second time staying here, and they even gave me tickets to the observation deck upstairs! The hotel is still incredibly well-maintained after all these years – the room was spotless. I'm very familiar with this location; Ichiran Ramen is right downstairs.

The views, day and night, are absolutely unbeatable! Breakfast was good too. The Kintetsu Department Store right downstairs, as well as the surrounding Abeno shopping street and Q's Mall, are fantastic for browsing. Plus, it's really close to the subway station, making transportation super convenient.

Everthing about the hotel is fantastic except the breakfast which is very mediocre. The location has access to a few train lines besides being the 1st stop from Kaisai Airport on Haruku line. Below hotel has 3 floors of restaurants and a departmental store with supermarket. The hotel room has great view of Osaka city from morning to night.

The subway station and a shopping mall are right downstairs, making it super convenient to get around. You can even drop off your purchases in your room and continue shopping! The high floor offers a beautiful night view, and the lobby also has a nice outlook.

Marriott Miyako has became my go-to hotel when I visit Osaka due to the convenient location, hardware has always been wonderful and front desk staffs are always welcoming and polite, breakfast is pretty good with different main dish (eggs) everyday However, I did not have a good experience this time at restaurant ZK, its my third time having teppanyaki there, but this time the chef seems not happy...

I think this is my best hotel because located near all public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. All the reception staff , housekeepers were very lovely. Every time I come here, I am very happy.

The location is absolutely excellent. From Sapporo JR Station, you'll need to head towards the West Exit due to ongoing exterior maintenance, though the signs might point to the North Exit/Hokkaido University direction. It’s not making a lot of sense they could only store your luggage for 2 hours

The hotel is clean and very new. It is very close to Chitose Station which is very good for me as I can go to the airport in the morning without rushing. There is an onsen and the lounge provides nice coffee in the morning.

Highly recommend Hotel Kansai for solo travelers! The best part is the easy access—you can use the underground Whity Umeda walk (Exit M14) to avoid the rain and crowds. It’s right in the heart of the action, so you can explore the Umeda Sky Building or Hep Five and be back in your room in minutes. Simple, clean, and perfectly situated for anyone who wants to spend their time exploring rather than commuting

I stayed at Hotel Kansai for four nights. Overall, the room was pretty good — comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very small, but that’s fairly standard for Japan, so no real surprise there. The staff were great and very friendly, although check-in is self-service, so you don’t really need much help anyway. There were a few negatives that are worth mentioning. One small but disappointing issue...

The room was very clean; although a bit small, it had everything we needed. The breakfast was plentiful, especially the Chinese food options. The location is excellent, very close to JR Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation very convenient. There are also many pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, so finding places to eat or shop for groceries was a breeze.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Umeda and Osaka Station. The facilities are basic, but it's clean enough, especially considering the price. If your trip mainly involves just coming back to the hotel to sleep, it's perfectly adequate. After a long day of exploring, that moment of lying down is truly wonderful.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great, near to metro and JR station. Ameyoko market is just less than 5 minutes walk away. There are plenty restaurants to explore behind the hotel, and there’s AEON small grocery nearby too. The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Ueno and other subway stations. However, the entrance is a bit hard to find; the red front door is automatic, and I didn't even realize you could just walk in. Standard squeeze for Tokyo hotel room but there was a sign which tells me to tuck my luggage under the bed. Location is superb, 5 mins to Keisei Ueno station / JR Ueno station with luggage. Value for momey.

The value for money isn't great. The interior feels on par with a domestic Atour hotel, but it's nearly 2500 [currency]. Hotels in Tokyo are so expensive! During cherry blossom season, it was crowded. We even had to take a number to queue for breakfast, but we didn't wait long, only about 10 minutes. The only real advantage is its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel specifically for a concert. The National Stadium is right across the street, and I could even see it from my balcony. I chose this hotel because it's directly opposite the New National Theatre, as I was here for a concert. The environment is lovely, and the location is super convenient. Plus, there's a hot spring! Every night after a day of shopping, I'd go soak in the onsen to relax and relieve my fatigue.

I chose this hotel for my trip to see TWICE's concert at the New National Stadium, and it was incredibly convenient, just across the road from the venue. The hotel staff were skilled and had excellent attitudes, especially the front desk receptionist who assisted with check-in. The room was very clean, staff was great and there were no problems with service, but the room was really warm all the time despite the heater not being on and it being December/January.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean. I used trash and towels, put them in bags, and left them at the door the next day. Very old hotel, falling to pieces. We had to request a room change because of electrical wires that were just hanging from the wall felt very unsafe (with furniture falling to pieces). Art Hotel is always our go-to hotel whenever we’re in Chiba Prefecture. Its location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around, and the price is very affordable for what you get. One of the highlights for us is the onsen, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overall, it consistently offers great value, comfort, and convenience, which is why we keep coming back.

I stayed at the Main building, not the Garden Wing as stated by many to be poorly maintained. Rooms are small, older but functional. Complimentary Shuttle to and from the airport/ Narita city and hotel. There are many airport hotels near Narita but everyone chooses this because of its ONSEN! It is a must. In-house guest can pay a small fee of 700yen for multiple visits. Given the affordable room price...

It’s a pity we have to shorten our stay due to driving license issue and could not rent a car. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Pillow is a bit small and soft. Ocean view is spectacular . This is a fantastic property for families. It is truly an all inclusive resort with fantastic rooms, food options, facilities and in room amenities. The Suite Grande room was a great choice with a washer dryer, plenty of space and plenty of streaming options included in the nice Sony Bravia TV with soundbar (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Ameba etc.). Very spacious with very comfy bed. The big bath tub allowed me to have a nice and fun bath time with my baby daughter. A balcony with sea view makes it even more perfect. On top of that, reception staff are super welcoming and friendly. Thanks for your smile and a very smooth check-in-out process.

Always been a big fan of the Dormy Inn chain, guaranteed a nice onsen and delicious supper and breakfast. Checking in and out is a breeze. This hotel is located steps away from the JR station as well as bus terminal, very easy to hop on a bus to tour the city. Highly recommended.

Right across from Kanazawa Station, this hotel is super convenient with Aeon Mall nearby. Getting around is a breeze, and there are tons of places to eat at the station. I loved that the hotel has a public bath and a warm bowl of ramen at night really hit the spot. It's just a shame I didn't get to see any snow!

The room was spotless and incredibly well-lit. Even though it was winter, the room was really warm. The public bath on the 18th floor was also very clean, and soaking in it after a long day of sightseeing was wonderfully relaxing.

The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast was a rich spread of both American and Japanese options. The location is super convenient; you can access Osaki Station directly from the lobby via a connecting walkway. Right outside the hotel, there's a Lawson, Burger King, a NewCity supermarket, and various dining spots. It's perfect for getting to Kamakura, Shibuya, and Ginza easily.

Stayed here again. It's an older hotel, decent and reliable, with breakfast included. There's a direct connection to the subway station right outside, which is super convenient. And the cleanliness is, as always with Japanese hotels, impeccable.

Located just outside Osaki station with a few train lines, the primaryYamanote line serves most tourist well as it plies key tourist locations such as shibuya and shinjuku. Lawsons is about 50 steps away from the hotel entrance. There's also a mall, New Ohsaki city, there's supermarket and many food options across different price range.

Location: It's inside a shopping mall, quite small though. Hygiene: Similar to business hotels in Japan, pretty clean. However, the facilities are very old, and there's only one power outlet, which is super inconvenient.

Great location, but the hotel facilities are really old. It was scorching hot inside the room in March, and the AC wasn't working, so we had to open the window for air. Being right next to Canal City was incredibly noisy. The sound of the fountains went on late into the night.

I've stayed here dozens of times over the years. The location, accessibility, and value for money are the main reasons I keep coming back. While the standard rooms are indeed quite small, typical of Japan, and the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. Overall, it's a good choice!

Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient. Would stay again!

This hotel does not have air conditioning. It is ideally located but very average. Not so clean for a Japanese hotel. For the sane price choose another hotel

Located near Kanazawa main attractions and shopping area, the room is quite small but comfortable.

The hotel is nice and clean. The mattresses, in particular, could be improved. They aren't comfortable, and I didn't sleep very well. I stayed in room 613, and there was an annoying noise from the air conditioning units. A variety of amenities and a free shuttle to the station are provided. Breakfast is acceptable. They change some things every day.

The hotel has standardized facilities and services, giving you a sense of security. It was great. I especially liked that you could use the self-service luggage lockers.

It felt cleaner than other Toyoko Inn hotels. However, breakfast was very crowded and we had to wait in line.

The hotel is conveniently located just ten meters from the Xianglinfang bus stop, with a department store across the street. There's also an airport bus stop for Komatsu right outside. The only downside is the poor soundproofing. Unfortunately, I ended up in a noisy room next door. It was noisy around 11 PM and again before 6 AM. It's rare to encounter something like this in Japan.

Hotel was located about 600m from Tokyo Station and was to the left of the Central exit. Room was a bit small and the bathroom especially the shower area in the long bath was at a height and quite unsafe when leaving it especially for seniors like me and have to be very careful cause there are no support bars. Breakfast was simple. Not value for money as it is S$245 for a night's stay.

Extremely satisfied, and the breakfast was delicious! If I get the chance to visit Tokyo again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. For cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo, I highly recommend Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden; it has a wide variety of cherry trees and you can't go wrong.

The room is not large, and it's very close to the tram line. If you're sensitive to noise or suffer from neurasthenia, you should seriously consider this. It's very close to Kanda Station, about a six or seven-minute walk to the South Exit, and about a ten-minute walk to Tokyo Station. Breakfast is 1500 JPY, which is acceptable.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to Tokyo Station, Kanda Station, Mitsukoshi, and Nihonbashi. The front desk service was great, and the luggage storage was very convenient – we could store our bags before check-in and after check-out, which made our travels much easier. There's also a convenience store right across the street, perfect for grabbing water and snacks.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot yet still very central. It's a convenient 15-minute walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to get around. As expected for Japan, the room was small but had everything you could need.

Location is good near namba station. l stayed here for 5 days 4 night. When l checked in at late night l realise bathroom smelly next day l inform receptionist request to clean up bathroom still got the bad smell. Have laundry service. Nearby have grocery mall.

The single room was quite spacious. There's a small entryway by the door where you can hang clothes and change shoes, and the luggage rack can easily hold a 30-inch suitcase. The lobby offers free coffee and drink machines. It's close to Daikoku Station, and there's a Life supermarket nearby that's open until midnight. Very satisfied!

This hotel is the best hotel in this trip!! Room interior was bright and everything was clean. The toilet provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. The smell was soooo nice. Also the water pressure nice so you relief some tiredness. But one thing I don’t like about was the sound proof. Cuz you can heard kids screaming. Tho that was not happened at night time but still a bit annoyed.

The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the option to choose whether or not to have it cleaned. Aside from the occasional sound of cars racing at night, the surroundings were quite quiet. There's a 24-hour supermarket not far away, and several convenience stores nearby. The subway station is just a ten-minute walk, making getting around very convenient. My only minor quibble is that the room...

Small room but I love this hotel and its amenities. Wont  mind to stay here again in the future
