Kyoto, 503-1 Zaimokucho Shimogyo-ku 🧭 Map
Service and facilities were excellent. The morning buffet had a large variety of food. And the nightly ramen was a thoughtful touch to the whole onsen.
Everything was wonderful, from the service to the overall environment. The staff were attentive and the experience was very enjoyable.
The only feedback I have would be regarding the robe provided for the onsen, which felt a bit too small. It would be great if guests could be asked for their sizes beforehand to ensure a better fit.
Additionally, while the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed...
This was probably the best hotel I stayed at in Japan. It felt incredibly clean — guests must remove their shoes at the entrance and store them in the shoe cabinets, so everyone walks around in socks.
Breakfast was impressive, with a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes and even matcha latte. The onsen was outstanding: there were at least four pools, so it never felt crowded, plenty of shower...
Super good service and provide great food and drinks in different places and periods
The room is so comfortable
This is a large onsen hotel, not far from JR Kyoto Station, with plenty of dining options nearby, making it very convenient. Upon entering, you need to take off your shoes and store them. The lobby has a free self-service coffee machine where you can get hot tea/coffee. The front desk offers multilingual service, so you can communicate any additional needs. The onsen (hot spring bath) area is communal...
This place is just amazing. Good foods, location and friendly staffs. Wonderful onsen, perfect supper etc. We will definitely revisit!

Sapporo, 4 Kita 4 Jonishi Chuo-ku 🧭 Map
Best location ever. It is connected directly to the JR station and no need to carry luggage and walk outside. The room is tidy and comfortable. Worthy the price.
The hotel is super convenient, directly accessible from the JR train station via an underground passage. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the transportation is excellent.
The location is excellent, right across from the south exit. If you're familiar with the area, you can use the underground passage, which is especially convenient during heavy snowfall in Hokkaido. The room is quite small but has everything you need, and the cleanliness is good. I really enjoyed the breakfast ambiance, especially sitting by the window watching the snow fall outside—it was incredibly...
This hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the JR station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The facilities are excellent, and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend it to everyone. If I go to Sapporo again, I'll definitely book this hotel.
Excellent! The free luggage storage is a lifesaver, and the convenient location makes it easy to get anywhere quickly, especially for shopping.
The hotel’s location is the reason that I booked for my stay in Sapporo. It is opposite the JR Sapporo Station and airport limousine bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
Hotel reception is on the 7th floor and breakfast is on the 1st floor. When taking the elevator to your room, you will need to scan your room card before proceeding. By the way, hotel does provide free coffee and drinks for hotel...

Nago, 1808 Kise, 905-0026 Nago, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
The facilities were good, but there was a lot of unpleasant smell, probably because of the air conditioning inside.
We booked for our honeymoon, and it was a lovely stay. Our room had an excellent view over the beach and pools. We did find the opening times of the pools a bit odd and the lack of affordable food options at the resort a challenge, but with a car, there's plenty of good food options nearby.
The outdoor pools are very nice but beware of the short opening hours.
The environment is great, the hotel facilities are complete, the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, and there is a rich variety of dining options. Several restaurants require advance reservations.
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus, but it's not listed on Ctrip. You have to call and book it yourself through the hotel's website. The service was excellent. Check-in was done on the sofa while we drank tea. All the staff were so friendly and smiling. It felt like Disneyland by the sea.
I didn't visit any of the Okinawa attractions; I just wanted to explore the resort. 🌊 You never get bored here...
The foreign staff member spoke in a very low voice, and it seemed as though he was explaining things to someone who clearly had no control, which made for a completely pointless conversation. I wanted him to explain things properly in Japanese, so I ended up calling a Japanese staff member. I hope they can determine whether they can do this and take appropriate action.
Also, the entire staff is on...

I LOVED IT! was clean and nice and everything u expect from a nice hotel. toaly recommend it
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a long day.
The location is also very convenient, especially for travelers using New Chitose Airport, and the surrounding area has plenty of dining options. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the overall attention to detail throughout the hotel.
Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would...
Great location as a first stop when arriving into CTS airport. It’s close by and convenient location. But what set apart this hotel are its restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast and both are excellent food quality and value for price. The breakfast at 3200 yen with crab soup is a value plus several made to order food items like the riceballs.
With the shuttle bus to airport, convenience store inside the hotel and spacious room, very happy with the stay!
Shuttle bus service to chitose airport not very frequent and very small so cannot fit many passengers / luggage.
Great location for self driving travellers and free parking, and if you are looking for a quick stay near the airport. Thanks for the front desk staff for a free upgrade and the room was spatious.

Osaka, 2 Chome-2-5 Higashishinsaibashi, Chuo, 542-0083 Osaka, Prefektura Osaka, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
Well staying here and convenient to travel all the attractions is Osaka
Very convenience location for shopping
the place have a very nice high rised view of the Osaka city
The location is great in the city center can walk 5 mins to namba. The room size is quite big compare ton other hotel in Japan. The best thing is onsen on the skybar!! Imaging after walk the whole day and you can relax in onsen!! Will come back to this plac
I checked out from candeo wakayama amd checked into candeo namba. Similarity.. the rooms were huge.
Buttt the cleaning wasnt good! There were stains on the sofa.
Housekeeping wasnt thorough.
Somedays dirty towels that were put aside wasnt picked up. Even rubbish was not cleared!
What a difference when compared with my previous stay.
The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The large public bath on the top floor has two big pools, one indoor and one outdoor. After a long day of walking, my legs were shot, so a soak in the evening felt absolutely amazing.
The main draw is really the convenient location. Other than that, it feels pretty standard for the price. Given the location and price point, there's nothing bad to say. Luggage storage was easy, and the air conditioning worked great.

Tokyo, 26-1 Sakuragaokacho, Sibuya, 150-8512 Tokio, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
Very great and convenient location, hotel view is amazing city view. Service is excellent.
Great location, super convenient for exploring and dining in Shibuya. The facilities are top-notch, truly excellent. Service attitude is first-class, very satisfied! The food is also exquisite! Highly recommend it! 👍👍👍
The room was incredibly spacious with an amazing view; we could even see Mount Fuji on clear days. The hotel changed the bedding daily, and the pajamas were fresh, pressed perfectly flat, and placed neatly on the headboard every day. The Japanese breakfast at the Japanese restaurant was also excellent! 👍
The hotel has a convenient location with easy access to many of the busiest hubs. The buffet breakfast is decent, but there are definitely better options nearby. I enjoyed walking to nearby areas like Daikanyama, Nakameguro, and Ebisu. After dinner, I cherished some quiet moments. There isn’t enough space for the amenities in the bathroom.
I brought my child and booked a spacious room. The tatami mat, perfect for tea during the day, could be converted into a large bed at night, which was excellent. The room was very spacious, and they provided pajamas and small skincare samples. It was very convenient to get to Shibuya from there. The breakfast offered both Western and Japanese options, which was quite good.
This hotel is perfectly located right next to Shibuya Station and Shibuya Sky, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. The staff are warm and courteous. Lying in the bathtub at night, gazing at Tokyo Tower while listening to city pop was a truly wonderful experience. The only minor drawback, which is a common issue in Japan, is that the food isn't quite as good as what you'd find back...

Tokyo, Nishia Asakusa 1-2-3, Taito-ku 🧭 Map
I stayed at APA Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi-Ekimae and overall had a very good experience.
The room is indeed quite small, but this is something to be expected at this price point in Tokyo, especially in such a convenient and central location. Considering the cost and the city, I found it reasonable and acceptable.
Although compact, the room is well designed and efficiently laid out, with everything...
Location great right near station entry for ginza line.
Service is friendly place is clean and well presented.
Rooms are compact but cosy and comfortable.
Check in is done via a machine due to reno.
Towels done daily and housekeeping.
Amenities in room are great also.
We got two rooms for 4 people side by side though it is never guaranteed.
Everything was good except for the breakfast included.
Can't get coffee refill.
500+ yen for 2nd cup
The room is clean, the staff are nice, the amenities are good, and the price is worth it.
Nice hotel in Asakusa, located in a nice neighbourhood, very close to various grocery stores. The hotel rooms have a private fridge and airconditioning.
Nice and cozy hotel in the center of Asakusa.
Near the metro and the temple.
The position is really the strength point of these hotel.
The room are really small but clean and equipped with every thing needed.
I would highly recommend it for who want a bed for visiting the city a couple of days.

The hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Loved the hotel! He lobby is very wide and welcoming, and very well decorated. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the view of Mount Hakodate from my window. I loved the onsen and lounge on the top floor of the main wing, too! They also have free mini popsicles in the lounge. I recommend the milk popsicles.
Great location which is walking distance from JR station
Room size is good
Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'.
Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is...
The hot spring wasn't as appealing as in the pictures. Breakfast was decent, especially the cake, which was delicious. For the hot spring, maybe because of the cold weather, the glass fogged up and you couldn't see anything.

Osaka, Konohana, Shimaya 6-1-16 🧭 Map
The room was spacious. Toiletries were collected at check-in. On a weekday, we went to Universal Studios in the afternoon, entering after 3 PM (bought tickets for 2 adults and 1 child at a nearby Lawson convenience store for 780 RMB). The next morning, we took a boat from a nearby pier (400+ RMB for 2 adults and 2 children, bought on-site, and you can book the aquarium for the morning).
This is an excellent choice of hotel right outside Universal Studio Japan. Newly done room, beautiful bathroom. Tea & coffee, water and ice provided as well as use of microwave. There is a convenience store on the first floor. The staff were very helpful. Luggage stored and taken to the room prior to check in. 10 out of 10.
Excellent, very satisfied. The breakfast was surprisingly rich, especially the sea bream rice, which was delicious.
If you're visiting USJ, this is the best hotel! It's clean, tidy, and has a fantastic location. Oh my goodness, I just love this hotel!
The hotel's really close to the subway, which is super convenient. There are tons of food options around the subway station, and a convenience store right downstairs. So, after a long day at Universal Studios, you don't have to worry about finding food. The bathroom is separate, very clean, and has great water pressure.
Facilities: It's only a ten-minute walk to Universal Studios, very quick to get there on foot.
Hygiene: The bathroom was quite clean. However, the room itself was a bit old and had a dusty, damp smell.
Environment: The bay outside the window was relatively quiet, so the overall environment was decent.

The room was incredibly spacious. We added an extra bed for two adults and two children, and everyone slept very comfortably. The bathroom was also huge, fully stocked with all the amenities. The hotel is dated, lobby, restaurants and rooms but it is all very well upkeep and clean. Late night at the lobby and room does feel a little . The room is spacious, nice hot powerful showers and bath, which is much appreciated after a long day at Disney.

The hotel is very near to the station. About 3 min walk. There's also an onsen available in the hotel.
I used this hotel for an overnight stay before my international flight. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk from Keisei Narita Station! The room was clean, and there's a public bath which was great for warming up. The service was impeccable.
This hotel was super convenient, being very close to Keisei Narita Station. However, getting to JR Narita Station felt like a bit of a detour. The room was perfectly adequate in size. I also really enjoyed the large public bath, it was very relaxing. My only complaint was the mattress on the bed; it was quite soft and my back sank in a lot, which personally I didn't like and I didn't sleep very well...
Very small hotel and i dont think it was super clean like Japanese standard. They gave me a smoking room. But the bus shuttle driver lady was very professional and polite.
The hotel has a great location. There's a Lawson convenience store right next door, and a shuttle bus service to the airport. You can also walk to Aeon Town Narita-Tomisato, which isn't far.

The location is easy to reach even without a car thanks to regular bus connections. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel is located on a separate peninsula, and the views are truly magnificent.

Nice hotel facing ocean view. We went for bottom glass boat tour. Very clear water but too cold to
Swim. Nice breakfast n pizza dinner very good.
I still vividly remember their 30th-anniversary celebration. Other than the outdated facilities, everything else was impeccable, especially the Executive Lounge – it was absolutely perfect! Great views, excellent food, and an even better atmosphere. I really hope the hotel renovates its facilities soon; it would be a shame to waste such a prime location!
Aside from the slightly dated facilities, this hotel is truly excellent. The location and views are fantastic, and the scenery along the two small paths by the pool was the biggest unexpected highlight. The buffet restaurant with the show was also quite interesting.
Pros:
1. The hotel is close to the Cape Manza scenic spot, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
2. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, including but not limited to banana boats, jet skis, an inflatable water park, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. If you're not planning on visiting the outer islands, you could easily spend a whole afternoon here.
Cons:

The hotel's restaurant has good food and service, but there are queues for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...
So far everything has been quite good—the staff are attentive and the service is friendly and efficient. However, the facilities themselves feel rather outdated, and some areas could benefit from renovation or modernization to match the quality of the service provided. Overall, the experience is pleasant, but the aging infrastructure slightly affects the impression.
The building looks a bit aged but certainly well maintained. It is located an hour drive from Naha and is more convenient for visiting the mid and north Okinawa. The surrounding area is quiet and nice, certainly a good place to stay away from the city to relax for a few days. Pool, gym, spa, beach ... are all available.
Stepping into the room was absolutely breathtaking; the view was stunning, with the white church right outside the window ⛪️. On the hotel's beach, during low tide, you could see little fish swimming and crabs scurrying in the glass-like water – it was adorable! For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style.

The hotel is less than 2 minutes from the exit, making its location excellent for getting anywhere. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. The only downside is that the ventilation fan is quite noisy at night, which might affect light sleepers. However, I'm very satisfied and would consider staying here again on my next visit.

You can store your luggage in the storage room on each floor, but it's a bit small, so you can't open your suitcase there. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory.
The capsule look a bit old but the toilet is very clean. There are private showers, open showers, and a sauna which is fantastic. However, there’s no lift from the ground level to the lobby, so you’ll need to use the stairs. But from the lobby to the dormitory, there is a lift available. The location is great, close to Uniqlo and the metro station. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Perfect location to visit events, shows at the Makuhari Messe. Outlet park just next to it. Train station is only 5min. walking distance from the hotel. Nice bar with view on the sea.
Close to the convention center, nice room and view and for sure will come again if needed
very clean room and good location
The room was very spacious. The only downside was the breakfast restaurant, which reeked of cigarette smoke. This made it quite unpleasant and unprofessional, especially for business travelers.
Great Location and Comfortable Stay
Hotel New Otani Makuhari was a perfect choice for attending an event at Makuhari Messe—it’s just a short walk away. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again for future visits to the exhibition hall.
Chose this hotel as we were attending an event to be held at Makuhari Convention Center. 100% worth it!
Room - spacious
Distance to venue - literally 3 mins walk
Will return to this hotel again for sure
