I checked in on January 1st, and to my surprise, many shops were closed. I asked the front desk to call some shops to see if they were open, but the staff refused, telling me to look it up online myself. I was traveling with two elderly family members and a toddler that day and didn't want to drag them around searching. I was very disappointed.

I didn’t give 5 stars for this reason. Before arriving, I was told via message that the hotel could send my luggage to my next hotel in Japan, but when I asked, they said they didn’t offer this service and told me to go to a nearby convenience store instead. This caused me some trouble because I had to walk around with two very large suitcases trying to figure out how to ship them, even though I had been told at the beginning that the hotel could handle it.

Everything else was fine — the room and bathroom were good. It’s just a bit noisy because the wall between rooms is thin, so you can hear guests next door. The location is fine. Overall, it’s okay, but they should update the information about the luggage service.

The hotel is quite spacious, and it was also kept very clean. It's conveniently located not far from Kyoto Station.

The location is awkward, either near or far from Kyoto station. 4 or 5 stops away, or 20min walk. No convenience stores are nearby which is a shame.

Thin wall. Can hear foot stamping from the room above.

Other than that, all is good.

The room is crowded and the sound insulation is poor. It is not very convenient to travel.

The hotel accomodation is cramped so not ideal for long stays. (We stayed for 3 nights). but the beds are comfortable. Also, I’m an early morning coffee person and unfortunately the kitchen area has no table or chairs to sit on, so drinking my coffee on my bed in the dark while everyone else is still sleeping was not ideal. Having at least a stool and a fold down table in the kitchen would be I good idea for future guests. Train stations are also bit far but there are buses just around the corner for easy transportation.

The location is average, not too close to Kyoto Station, but there is a bus stop nearby.
The room is quite big and well-equipped, but unfortunately the cooking stove is an induction cooker, which is not very easy to use...

It was spacious and clean. There was a kitchen and a washing machine, so I felt like I was at home. It was a shame that it was a little far from the station.

This was a lovely little temporary home with a washing machine and small kitchen. Good hot water for showers, plenty of towels. The only down side was that the sofa bed for the third pet was very uncomfortable. Otherwise a great stay.
