Holiday Inn Kyoto Gojo by IHG in Kyoto

Nice hotel. Great staff. Warm and cozy rooms. Almost great location. Super clean. Great breakfast. Close to subway and other public transportation. Walking distance (15 minute) to nishiki Market, 20 minute walk to Kyoto station and Kyoto tower.

The hotel is Beautiful, maybe 4 stars, i stayed there because i didn't have another place to stay.

Well, the place has big and luxury elevators

I payed a room with private toilet and big bed with radio side table, the room was very large and had a desk, a tv And a closet too.

The toilet was very nice and well lighted, there are towels, shampoo, soap, etc. I can relax in the bathtub.

There is a coin laundry on the upper floors and you can access in there through an elevator. The washing machines was very modern and they had built-in dryer.

The only bad point was the carpet next to the side table had a stain but when i leave the hotel the staff gave me a form where i wrote this little issue.

When i leaved the hotel i remembered that i forget my jacket in the nice closet of the room so i explained it to the staff and i had no problem with this, they gave me the key again and i can bring my jacket again

So, the staff was very friendly.

I recommend this Hotel.

The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The building is located near a train station and a bus stop so it is easy to get around Kyoto from here.

This hotel was excellent, we certainly didn't expect anything this nice when we were booking for the price that we paid for the hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and the service was excellent. We had our bags forwarded from Tokyo and they were placed in our room for us before we arrived to check in. They had all the amenities you could ask for, including self serve laundry and an onsen, besides all the available toiletries including a razor, toothbrush with toothpaste, q-tips etc. It's about a 20 min or so walk to the main station, but the hotel is convenient to a subway entrance if you wanted to take that instead. We were easily able to access everything in Kyoto. The room was more than enough room for the two of us. Great experience! Thank you!

Cozy and comfortable room with an interesting view. The hotel has a very nice public bath spa upstairs, and also provided the option of a great breakfast which included several international dishes to choose from. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Clean and well cared for with polite staff. We stayed in a room with two beds which were a little hard by American standards but not uncomfortable. There is a public bath available but we did not take advantage of it while we were there. This hotel is very close to the subway entrance so it's very convenient. I recommend it!
