Good location, near to Ishigaki ferry terminal where vendors pick up and drop off participants for water activities, however parking spaces in the main carpark are always full and the second carpark is quite a distance away. The hotel is located in Kirishima, making it convenient to drive to Kagoshima and Sakurajima. The lobby has a great design, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. Parking can be a bit tight near the main building.

Room was clean and spacy with great view of ocean and mountain. It takes a bit longer time for checking in than expected.

First, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths. Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit. Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture.

This place is very well located near the Makishi station. Best of all is the generous and delicious breakfast spread, especially the french toast. Also the free drinks and ice cream throughout the day. Best of all is their cultural activities twice a day. When I was there I had time only fir the yukata. Miyako Island is divided into north and south. Shiriga is located in the south of the island, facing the South Pacific. It is a suite hotel with a private pool in a resort with 7 or 8 hotels scattered around. Basically, you can only visit the resort nearby. I stayed in a jacuzzi room for the second year in a row. The breakfast was amazing. I look forward to it every morning. I mainly eat Japanese food. The juicy rice is exceptional. I can't get enough of it. This year the timing wasn't right and I didn't get to try the cheese risotto. Speaking of Miyazaki, it's the Miyazaki Kanko Hotel, also known as "Miyakan"! The lobby, common areas, rooms, and corridors all had a luxurious feel and a very nice atmosphere. There was nothing particularly bad about it, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

Stayed one night, location is a bit isolated in terms of restaurants and things to do. Definitely an outdated hotel and could do with a renovation, however the room was definitely very large for Japanese standards so the was a plus!(superior queen). This Hotel is famous for the tourist but the building is a bit old. Their toilet has old bidet, it’s hard to operate. They have old fashioned key, don’t be confused. But when it comes to service ill give them 5⭐️they are very helpful and polite staff.

The best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to Churaumi Ocean park. It also has an in-house onsen, albeit a small one. However, don't be fooled by its exterior, the rooms are quite old and design out-dated. The hotel is still using old-fashioned keys with heavy key-holders for the rooms.

Don't expect the front desk to know any English, bring your own translator. The room is equipped with air conditioning and an air purifier, but the air outlet of the air conditioner blows towards the head. Although the room is equipped with a stove, no cooking utensils are provided. The overall hotel experience is OK, you get what you pay for, and it's very close to Kokusai-dori on foot.

The onsen is big and amazing. The buffet dinner and breakfast are sumptuous with quality food! The room is spacious and comfortable. The only setback is the hotel is quite old and dated in the common places. With the quality food and best onsen, it's still a value for money hotel to be in.
