Kyushu, Okinawa City, 3 Chome-4-2 Central, 904-0004 Okinava, Prefektura Okinava, Yaponiya 🧭 Map

The room smelled of cigarettes, but the air from the air conditioner didn't smell like cigarettes, which was nice.
This business hotel is ideally located in the heart of Okinawa City. The most appreciated thing about it is the ample free parking and the nearby izakaya. While small, it's well-equipped with everything you need, including a hot spring bath, laundry facilities, and a lounge. The value for money is excellent! The rooms are spacious, with plenty of space for luggage and plenty of air conditioning!
Room was old school but big . Got big fridge in the room too . Onsen pretty old school & get used by local before 6pm . Staff were friendly but they didn’t have email I could contact at all after my stay . Breakfast was nice.
If you have purchased a room with breakfast, you need to ask the counter for a breakfast coupon, which is valid until 9 o'clock. If you don't get a coupon when you check in, you will have to pay 1,100 yen per person the next day. There are plenty of parking spaces and it's convenient
I was hungover after drinking in Koza so it was great to have a large public bath.
Although it is an old hotel, the rooms are spacious and have been renovated, so they are comfortable.
It is located in the center of Koza, so it is a very convenient location for going out to the restaurants at night.
I would like to use it again the next time I stay in Koza.

Friendly staffs and lovely hotel.
We stayed in a room with private onsen which we absolutely loved it. We can even see the snow in the morning making us feel like living in a fairy tale land.
Highly recommend!
Breakfast and dinner hours are too short, could be improved.
Great facilities for a reasonable price.
The hotel offers a full range of services, including a private open-air bath. The hygiene and environment are excellent, but the food quality is just average, with a bland taste!
The main reason we chose Satoyama Chafu was the opportunity to soak in the hot spring while admiring the view of Mount Yufu. The hotel staff provided excellent service, and the food quality was also quite good.
very good service
Nice meals
Since we met heavy rainstorm on the way to the hotel, we were late but the staff were friendly and helpful to assist us to check in.

Good hotel and friendly staff. Onsen available each day from sunset time to midnight. Slightly away from city centre but with convenient and quick access!
I like the service and breakfast. However, the bathroom in the room is small and the facilities are old. The window in the room doesn't open, even though I wanted to. I tried to force it open, but it was hard. Other than that, I'm generally satisfied.
I stayed here for two nights during the Fukuoka Dome concert.
I left Haneda at night and left the airport after 10:30pm.
It said that check-in was until 11pm, so I called the hotel and they told me that I could check in until midnight, and that there was a side entrance after that.
The location is about 15-20 minutes by train from Fukuoka Airport (with one transfer), and about the same from PayPay...
The room price is not expensive and the hotel facilities are generally a bit like an older hotel.
The best thing is that the surrounding area is not crowded. It's quiet and everything is nearby. There is a super cheap supermarket, Don Quijote, Sushiro, and Yume Town a little further away. The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but if you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel that's not crowded, this is the best. There is a subway 5 minutes away, so access to the city is easy.
I felt like it was a little old.
The staff's response is good.
I don't know about the food because I haven't eaten it.
The environment around the hotel is good.

This resort is amazing! From the unique architecture to their services are absolutely fantastic. We stayed on the 4th floor which was looking onto the beautiful townscape and coastline of Beppu. With real hotspring introduced to the bathtub in private room, it felt very special. We had some of the most amazing meals in Kyushu there during our 2 night stays. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional...
Extremely beautiful hotel with stunning views of Beppu. The design is sleek and modern, with unique artworks placed throughout the property. Our room had a private onsen bath overlooking the city—absolutely gorgeous—and the balcony was just as stunning.
Breakfast was fantastic as well, and they were able to provide gluten free options.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel that offers a truly luxurious and private experience. The rooms are large, spacious, and feature a stunning in-room onsen, which was an absolute highlight. The best part? You get an amazing aerial view of the Beppu coastline right from your room and your private bath.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It might be my favourite place I've ever stayed.
The building itself is absolutely stunning. We probably spent an hour just walking around taking pictures. Such a cool space and a fantastic view of Beppu and the sea. So relaxing to watch the view change as the sun sets. Great sunrise from the balcony too if you wake up early.

Our stay at Galleria Midobaru was one of the highlights of our trip to Beppu.
The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, and the private onsen that opened up to a balcony with an unbelievable view of the city was truly unforgettable.

If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with a private onsen in Beppu this is it. Comparable to the ANA Intercontinental but probably half the cost.

The bathhouse's hot spring water was very slippery and clean, which was nice. The location was also convenient, just 200 meters from the airport bus stop and near the station, making it convenient for everything, including restaurants, shopping, and even a supermarket.
Breakfast is neat and tasty, but lacks variety.
There are too many smoking rooms, and noise between floors is a problem.
The front desk staff is friendly, but the parking facilities and location are satisfactory.
The hotel's location was excellent, about a 5-minute walk from the station, with a food stall village and numerous restaurants nearby. It was perfect for a business trip. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, I really enjoyed the Kagoshima local dishes like Satsuma-age and Keihan, so I'd say it offers great value for money. I was also incredibly impressed to discover that the hot spring was...
The hot spring water was thick and creamy, and my makeup went on really well. The breakfast was mainly Japanese food, but they also had bread. The staff were always smiling and I was able to get there on foot from the central station. I was very satisfied.

Very nice onsen hotel, with both an indoor and outdoor onsen, and they provide yukata as well. Rooms are very authentic, and the hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the town centre but right across the bus stop for buses from Nagasaki and to Shinabara
The onsen was fantastic, the location is really convenient, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming
The hotel's service is excellent, and we recommend booking the kaiseki course as well. Breakfast and hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, and family baths are all included in the room rate.
The hotel annex has 7 rooms and a private outdoor hot spring, which is convenient for those who do not like to soak in the hot spring in a public bath. The hotel staff can communicate in English, making it very suitable for tourists who do not speak Japanese!
The location is extremely convenient, with a bus stop right outside and the transit station and the Kaminita Pass station just a 10-minute walk away!

This was a last-minute trip for us as couples, and it's been a while since we last stayed here.
We were able to relax in a quiet environment.
We took a cable car to Tenku no Yu, where we enjoyed our open-air bath with a spectacular view.

We were looking for a more traditional ryokan away from it all. This place hit the spot. We really enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion. The trip to it - rental car - was a worthwhile trek! The food was fabulous and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. There were a variety of onsen. We came away with a very relaxing and satisfied feeling!
I was drawn to the private observation bath and cable car. I enjoyed a long soak in the slightly warm hot spring while admiring the magnificent view from high up! It was fantastic.
The hot spring in the room was an indoor type, but it was quite spacious and relaxing, which was also great.

I went to check out the in-room hot spring because it looked spacious.
The water was a little lukewarm, so it might not be suitable for those who prefer very hot water. The view from the open-air bath with a view was fantastic.
The only downside was that the futon seemed a bit moldy.
Otherwise, the food was delicious and I was very satisfied.
The road to get there is really narrow, so be careful...
The service here is excellent. It's a quiet, Japanese-style inn. The staff are very polite, but perhaps lack experience with foreign guests, requiring a translation machine. Regarding the food, since there were seven of us, we had to share half hot pot and half barbecue. It would have been better if both were provided. They offer horse meat sashimi, which is quite unique. Overall, it's very good value...
The location was too remote and the atmosphere of the ryokan was a bit cold, so it wasn't a pleasant atmosphere.
The ryokan only had three outdoor communal baths, and there were no special amenities.
The food is just like that. I have no intention of visiting again

Quite a climb up, beautiful view and a very nice Japanese room.
It was a little inconvenient because it was not a card key. The facilities are a little old because they seem to be an old building, but the view is very good because it is located on the side of a mountain. Of course, the Inasayama Observatory is also close. It is not a distance to walk to the observatory~ It is relatively close. They were kind and nice~
If you plan to go to Mt. Inasa, it is definitely worth staying here. It is about 1/3 of the way to the observation deck. I got off the JR and walked up the small road. It was around 8pm. This was an beautifully maintained, tranquil ryokan with very attentive staff who take great pride in the inn's 100 year old heritage and great breakfast.
We almost missed the entrance to the inn after parking - the staff spotted us and ushered us in. Proprietress in a kimono saw me carrying a bag of trash during check in and promptly took it away for me. Another lady carried our bags. Proprietress...
This is a beautiful ryokan with fabulous rooms and a lovely garden. The staff are, without exception, absolutely wonderful. The food is excellent too. It’s a leisurely short walk to both the beach and the castle and only a 25 minute stroll or 6 minute taxi ride to Karatsu station. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough
very well maintained facilities although it's over 100 years old. Attentive service and overall experience was above expectations

Spa facilities: Spa and wellness centre
I had a day spa and lunch.
Since it was Sunday, the large public bath was full. The open-air bath faced the sea, with no obstructions, giving it a sense of openness and comfort.
For lunch, in addition to the menu listed on the website, they also had sukiyaki. I had the "Large Shrimp Fried Set Meal," and the tough head shells had been removed, making the shrimp incredibly tender and delicious. I ordered...
The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony and a view of the ocean from the window. There's also a coastal walking course right next to the hotel.
The bath was also clean and relaxing. You can see the ocean from the open-air bath, and my kids loved going to the bath twice a day, in the morning and at night.
There's also a small games corner near the bath, and whenever we stay here, my kids always...
"Kokumin Shukusha Marine Terrace Ashiya" is situated in a great location for viewing the scenic "Hibiki Sea".
Although the facilities are a bit old, they have a lot of charm. The staff is polite and the traditional Japanese breakfast made from local ingredients was delicious, especially with the stunning view of the ”Hibiki Sea". The outdoor bath is also a nice way to enjoy and feel the fresh air...
I've read that the staff were rude and dirty, but it was the exact opposite.
The service was very good, and no matter how quickly I rushed for work, I ended up arriving around 11pm.
Since the hot springs only open until 11pm,
they changed us to a room with a bath.
The night shift staff member cleaned the bath by himself,
and although he probably wanted to clean up quickly,
they waited until we arrived...
I was very grateful that they were able to accommodate our sudden request to bring a preschooler. The scenery was amazing and the food was very satisfying. It's a place I'd definitely like to visit again.
The sea view is so beautiful,Spring is good and food is very delicious! すばらしい
