I booked a corner room to enjoy the Nagasaki city view, and it was absolutely stunning—honestly the highlight of my stay. It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. Located on the central side street of Yufuin, the room was not big, just enough for three people. But fortunately it was very quiet. When I woke up the next day, it was snowing!

This is a family stay, they do not know Japanese and English, but can communicate (Body Language) In addition, alcohol and water are all you can drink really great, the family will stay very happy.

It's been two years since I last stayed at this hotel, but the weekday rate of 3,900 yen including breakfast hasn't increased. There is also a large public bath. The breakfast is also very satisfying.

I have been here several times. It is one of my favorite get away spots. They have hot springs, a great international buffet, lovely rooms with great views. It is very modern and spacious. I also think the staff are fantastic and kind.

Recently renovated throughout. Great views of the Saikaibashi bridge, and the whirlpools below. Good breakfast and dinner. Walk the rose garden and continue with a stroll through the nearby fishing harbor to appreciate the spectacular natural surroundings. I would stay here rather than at the Huis Ten Bosch and take advAntage of their free shuttle.

Highly recommended. It offers good rooms and beds. Shower is nice. Plus they offer a hot spring. The lobby has free beer and other drinks and snacks. I will ho back many times.

The hotel and rooms seemed quite old! Breakfast and other amenities were not provided. Parking is free and Wi-Fi is available. The owner handled check-in and other matters, and was very helpful. The accommodation fee was very reasonable.

It was located in a quiet area slightly outside of town. There were no chairs in the rooms, so the beds served as chairs. The only toilet with a washlet was in the shared bathroom on the first floor. The owner seemed to be the only staff member, but he was friendly and very helpful.

Great services, great accommodation

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. We booked breakfast and dinner, and the food was absolutely amazing; you definitely have to try it if you stay here. My favorite part was the private hot spring in the room. I'd come back again if I get the chance.

The location is pretty good because it’s private. It’s suit for guest comes with the car. About 15 mins drive to downtown. The room was big with private onsen, clean and simple. The facility is only the public onsen, which is indoor with no view. The breakfast is quite basic, the taste could be more outstanding.

I stayed here in 2024 and had a great experience! This time, however, it was a bit disappointing. The facilities are starting to show their age. The food quality is excellent (half-board with dinner and breakfast). The private onsen in the room is definitely a highlight.

Nice place with great staff. The whole hotel is peaceful ground covered with tatami. We reserved the private onsen and was satisfied with the amenities. Bfast was a set meal with refillable sides and rice. Located not too far from beppu station, its just a straight walk all the way.

location is not ideal without personal transport, have to arrange private pick up or taxi from train station. Having a private onsen in your room is awesome! But the hotel itself is in dire need of renovation. The floors in the room are scuffed. The wallpaper in the hallway is peeling. And the shower glass is caked with film. This can definitely be cleaned, but alas. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, but very long. Dinner lasts about two hours, with very long breaks between courses.

Unfortunately the room was super moldy and it was ruining the experience. We stayed there for two days. The first day, the dinner was delicious and so was the breakfast but the second day, the food was not as great and the breakfast was served as a Western style, was much less in portion compared to the first day. It was still nice to have Onsen in your room. But it comes with a price.

Rooms consists of small individual villas with private pools and patio. A bit humid and aging. One of the upsides were that the best beach in Miyako is a stone’s throw away. It was nice to have a solid private villa. When I was there, the waves on the beach were strong, so I thought it would be better to go to another beach if you are not confident in swimming. This is the best hotel on Yakushima Island, with excellent service. Electric bicycles are available for rental, allowing you to explore the nearby waterfalls and countryside, which are beautiful. The sauna by the pool is definitely worth trying, but reservations are recommended.

After hiking for two days, I took another day to rest. It turned out to be the right choice. I took a bath in the big bath several times, which was quite refreshing.
