Dear guests of Almaty, this hotel had a very good reputation 20 years ago and was a truly awesome place! However, it's fallen into disrepair now. BUT, for the price, it still offers a pretty good value. Overall, I highly recommend it! By the way, the all-inclusive breakfast isn't Turkish, but you won't leave hungry! The bed is clean, the furniture is tired. BUT, THEY KEEP IT CLEAN!!!
Excellent central location close to all amenities and museums. Oldish hotel but perfectly functional and very comfortable. Noisy kids constantly running around were a bit problematic trying to get sleep before return flight. Other than that a decent place at a decent price too. Nice staff.

Mostly satisfied, especially with the male owner who was incredibly friendly. However, the female staff member was just average. The restaurant service was also good. The price was a bit high for the facilities. If you want to make a reservation, it's best to do so two months in advance.

It's a little walk from the bus stop from the airport, but it's a nice hotel. It's conveniently located for sightseeing if you take the bus. The symbolic tower, Bayterek, is about a 10-minute walk away. The reception staff were very kind, but they couldn't speak English.

The room had a great view and was clean, the only issue was the lack of an private bathroom. The owner was also very nice, and it was easy to communicate with fellow Chinese guests. However, the price was affordable. I highly recommend it if you're not on a business trip and it's your first time in Almaty.

A perfect place to stay in Almaty. Location is not far from many landmark such as the cathedral, green bazaar, and Kok Tobe. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were also good. The owner was very helpful in letting us park there and giving us help and suggestions. Would stay here again!

The hotel was good for the location. It had a stop of the bus taking you to the airport directly. My room was very spacious, and this was the cheapest room on the property. The breakfast was not a buffet and I had to book a time for my breakfast and choose the menu. Still, the cook was not available at the appointed time and I had to wait.

There are hostel rooms and the issue with the hostel is there's only one key for the dorm's door. Room was a bit out-dated and basic. The air-conditioning (AC) was not working very well and it was a warm night.
But I have to commend the receptionist and technician for helping us to change room when we complained that the AC for the initial room was faulty.

I visited Almaty, the old capital of Kazakhstan, for a day. My flight arrived super early, around 2 AM, so I didn't have anywhere to go. I picked this old hotel near the airport for a late check-in and a quick nap. I slept until after 10 AM, then checked out to explore the city for the day. Getting a taxi from the hotel to the city center was very convenient.

Great place to stay for a holiday. On the 7th floor, i stayed at a 2-room apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a washing machine. I really appreciated the comfort and quality. Moreover, free Internet and access to Spa were as a cherry on the top of the cake. All this was just for 40 euro per night, including a breakfast.

Great place, quiet, beautiful, delicious food. The rooms are superb, everything is new. It's in the forest, next to Rixos, 15 minutes through the forest along a beautiful path.
