We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. Staffs are excellent, considerate and helpful.
Breakfast is served from 7-10am and they prepared a packed for each of us as we left the hotel at 5am for the tour.
After check out, the receptionist was so kind to book a taxi for us going to the airport.

Accommodation which is very near Zenkov Cathedral. One of the few hotels in the city which can accommodate a family of 4 in one room with adequate beds. Breakfast was decent with a good spread of food.

Everything is not bad and matches with the price. Location is close to the church and bars.
The only blemish, if one could call it that, was that we were assigned a room with twin single beds instead of the queen bedroom that was booked. Also, the water hose in the bathroom did not work well. I suspect that the trigger was jammed due to the hard water. Apart from that, everything else was quite good. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good.

The staff is so nice to us they are preparing a food to us because we are always in the travel and we cant get a breakfast.

The room facilities are outdated, the air conditioning isn't cooling properly, and it's a bit noisy since it's close to the main road. I had to ask for housekeeping three times, and by 4 PM the next day, it still hadn't been cleaned. Not a good experience.

An excellent hotel for a small town. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is very courteous. There's a large gym and spa facilities. Guests can also book a massage or make use of the solarium. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. We had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Skif. Highly recommend.

I stayed at a hotel to rest during a long layover.
Result:
1. The hot water was turned off in the morning and wouldn't be turned back on.
2. The power went out for 30 minutes.

The room was bit tiny, but fit for two person two open two big luggage at the same time. Bed also bit small, I almost fell during my sleep. Cleanliness is fine, no complaint. The breakfast choice is decent. The only complaint is they only have 1 small elevator which can contain 2 persons and luggage at the same time.

The hotel is quite close to the airport, but still takes around 15 mins by taxi. Close to a shopping mall and bus stop. There are hostel rooms and the issue with the hostel is there's only one key for the dorm's door. And the shower booth has no lock, it's only a glass door, so each time someone showers they most likely would lock the main door and so no one can use the toilets at the same time. There...

Room was a bit out-dated and basic. The air-conditioning (AC) was not working very well and it was a warm night.
But I have to commend the receptionist and technician for helping us to change room when we complained that the AC for the initial room was faulty.

I visited Almaty, the old capital of Kazakhstan, for a day. My flight arrived super early, around 2 AM, so I didn't have anywhere to go. I picked this old hotel near the airport for a late check-in and a quick nap. I slept until after 10 AM, then checked out to explore the city for the day. Getting a taxi from the hotel to the city center was very convenient.

Dear guests of Almaty, this hotel had a very good reputation 20 years ago and was a truly awesome place! However, it's fallen into disrepair now. BUT, for the price, it still offers a pretty good value. Overall, I highly recommend it! By the way, the all-inclusive breakfast isn't Turkish, but you won't leave hungry! Service was mediocre, cleanliness was so-so, and breakfast was nothing special. A bit overpriced.
Mostly satisfied, especially with the male owner who was incredibly friendly. However, the female staff member was just average. The restaurant service was also good. The price was a bit high for the facilities. If you want to make a reservation, it's best to do so two months in advance.
We just enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Everything was excellent
