I went with my family in July, the room facilities were very good, the views and location were excellent, just outside the rooms might be in better shape, but for the price was awesome.

Excellent view from the room. Furniture is also in good condition, all equipment and amenities are available.

I stayed here with in a private rental as this property is mixed hotel and private residences. I presume rooms have a similar set up and mine was great with a great kitchen area. Nice spot right on the beach. But the sea grass and the loud music (neither the fault of the hotel) made our tropical beach vacation a bit of a disappointment.

Clean room, staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast is included but very poor, only fruit, cereal, toast bread and coffee. I think they can do better on this. other than that the place is on the center of the city for you to walk all over to the plazas.

The location was excellent and the hotel staff was very helpful.

The hotel was well-located and the staff were kind. Unfortunately, the shower drain was not properly installed and sewage gases would fill the whole hotel room. The hotel cleaners tried to mask the odour by liberally spraying a room deodorizer. The pool, although shallow, was perfect for cooling off.

A fun concept and the design was great. Terrific service!! Needs refreshing i.e. towels are stained and a little bit shredded. Our room had a large stain right above the bed and the plunge pool-which was the big draw in the first place-wasn’t very clean. I would definitely recommend-but I’d also recommend the owners bring a little rigor to the upkeep.

Great staff. Enormous amount of mosquitoes, wish there was something done about that or atleast offer or sell repellant. Breakfast included is also a plus & location also. I would come back but with a lot of mosquito repellent 😅

Great stay with really friendly and helpful staff. We were warned of the music beforehand that plays into the night hours. We traveled with our infant and toddler who did not mind the background beats and slept soundly regardless. Cribs were provided for both kiddos. It was a really lovely time.

it is 20 mins walk away from the Maya Ruins, we didnt chekc that in the first day. And there are free electric busses that take you the ruins in less than 10 minutes

This is an amazing place to stay. I would stay again for sure. Very nice beach and you can take the electric car to go to the ruins. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting in and out of the hotel requires ordering a taxi from the hotel since they don't let anyone in and out of the park where the hotel is located. The hotel was really nice and affordable. Unlike other reviews the shower was working properly. The only downside was the cleanness. A truly unique experience. Staying here is like stepping back in time thanks to its impeccable colonial style and period furnishings. What stands out most, besides the stunning decor, is the absolute cleanliness in every corner of the room. I loved it. It was a great place to truly relax. There was no noise, which was a huge plus. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had a jacuzzi. The facilities took you back to another era. The only drawback was the shower water was lukewarm, but the jacuzzi water was hot, but that didn't take anything away from this hotel. 100% recommended.

This property is beautiful and clean. Staff is welcoming, attentive and pleasant. The beach is stunning and the vibe is calm and zen. The room does not have a mini fridge which was very surprising to learn upon arrival to our room considering we are in a hot climate. The room also does not have a hair dryer or a coffee maker. In my opinion those should be included especially for the price of the room...

Great little hotel. All rooms are just a few meters from the beach and very centrally located in the middle of the promenade. There are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. One small drawback: Beach service doesn't start until 10:00. You can use the sun loungers before then, but there are no umbrellas available.

Great Location, nice view, food overall was good. This resort needs better exterior upkeep but i think they are running as long as possible and trying to get what they can out of it without dumping too much money into aesthetics. Years ago this resort was probably very very beautiful. Dont get me wrong id stay here again for 4 days for the $80 rate i paid bit no more than $100 a day

The staff were all amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was great with very comfy beds, cleaned daily. Food at both restaurants was excellent and the location on the beach was perfect for a relaxing beach holiday but you do need transport to go into town.
