I have to admit we were a bit worried because of some reviews, but the hotel pleasantly surprised us. The food selection wasn’t huge, but there was always something tasty to choose from. The afternoon snack by the pool (hot dogs, pizza, hamburgers) was a nice addition. Drinks within the all inclusive were good, although my partner thought they could contain a little more alcohol.

The room was small but well equipped – there was a fridge, TV, clothes rack, and a hairdryer. The bed on wheels sometimes moved a little, but it didn’t affect our sleep. Overall, we felt comfortable.

A big plus was the friendly and helpful staff as well as the entertainment program, such as karaoke, dance shows and flamenco. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The bus stop with regular connections to Palma (about every 20 minutes) is also very close.

Overall, we rate our stay very positively. The only thing that bothered us occasionally was the behavior of some guests, but of course, that is not the hotel’s fault. We would gladly come back again.

The hotel is beautiful and very sophisticated, perfect for friends or couples to relax and recharge. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and they went out of their way to make our anniversary a special one.

The sea view is stunning and the pool is a great size with very comfortable loungers along with a big beach bar serving delicious cocktails.

The buffet has an amazing selection of foods varying from cereals, nuts and fruit, yogurts, pastries and fried food. There was lots of choice and the evening food was beautiful. Again boasting a varied menu of food from all different cuisines.

The vibe is very chilled at the hotel and out on the strips with lovely bars close by and two beaches to chose from.

I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing get away.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my partner’s birthday after reading what seemed like great reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was very different.

The food was disappointing — often cold with very little choice available. The room itself was quite old-fashioned, though it was at least somewhere to put our heads down at night. We had booked a double room, but instead were given two single beds pushed together, which constantly separated while we were sleeping — not ideal for a couple or elderly.

Most of the staff didn’t really interact with us, and on several occasions when we tried to say hello out of politeness, we were ignored. Whether this was due to a language barrier or simply poor service, it made things feel quite uncomfortable. One man at the bar in particular (Gonazalo) was extremely rude, and I’d advise being cautious when ordering drinks in the evening due to the bad attitude. The only thing that made our experience enjoyable was the company from the other guests, who also shared similar complaints and towards the end it just became laughable that everyone we came across was on the same page .

Overall, I was honestly embarrassed to have surprised my partner with this trip. I have no idea how this hotel is still receiving 5 stars. It’s such a shame, as I trusted the positive reviews, but they turned out to be very misleading. I would not stay here again.

Stayed in the first week of September, had a great time. Rooms were clean, all inclusive food was nice, quite at night time, just a 5 minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful, especially the life guard Helen who was very helpful when I experienced a very heavy nose bleed. The animation staff were also lots of fun. Definitely will come back again.

We booked this place because we had an exceptional holiday last year at Cook’s Club in Corfu. Unfortunately, Cook’s club Calvià beach is no way near at the standard of its other location. They’ve purchased an old hotel and redone it on the cheap, which is quite obvious when looking at the balcony’s and bathrooms.
From the moment we walked in, we weren’t greeted with a welcoming holiday experience. It was “give us 50 euro as a bond to use the carpark remote” “give us 20 euro bond to use the pool towels”. Selling vapes on the counter, very tacky. We made the mistake of going to breakfast at 10:00am, and it was like a zoo. We couldn’t get a table. Food was average.
There’s a message in the rooms that says something along the lines of “respect us and we’ll respect you, don’t bring your own foods to the pool area”. Even the way this was written was so blunt and rude.
I really hoped to have the same experience I had at the corfu cooks club location, and thought it would be guaranteed to be just as good, but unfortunately was disappointed. Calviá beach has a lot of work to do, across multiple areas to improve the experience.
I hope they can do this.

Honestly, an amazing stay from the start. Friendly staff, great facilities and a beautiful view from our room. The included buffet style breakfast has so much variety, including made to order eggs and smoothies. The à la carte menu was brilliant and reasonable priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wouldn’t recommend going here if you want any sleep. The walls to the rooms are paper thin and very basic, can literally hear the conversations through the walls and taps running next door. Also was woken up every single morning by banging and loud noises. Doors to balcony don’t lock, food poor and not even enjoyable to sit and eat as for some reason the waiters bang and clear the plates in the middle of the restaurant. Good thing is the rooms and hotel are very clean and close to beach but would not come back.

We just stayed for 6 nights at the Hotel. It is a beautiful, modern Hotel, with a really positive friendly attitude towards guests. The outstanding feature has to be the incredible breakfast selection and dining area - truly exceptional in our experience, and, when the Restaurant opens later in the morning, very good quality selection of food with an interesting pager system when food is ready. Pool set up outside is excellent. Even though the Hotel was obviously busy we often had the Infinity pool to ourselves, and great to be able to access drinks, coffees and Frappes at the Poolside Bar. At this point we want to give a special shout out to Murin(?) who seemed to be everywhere during our stay be it on breakfast duty or serving us at the Poolside Bar. A great example of how Hotel staff ought to be - always a Hola!, a smile, and great at his jobs. The only negatives (and these are minor) - the shower leaked onto the floor tiles beside the WC, and that final hill is tough for a man of my age, especially in the heat of our first few days 😊 Lastly, unsure the constant House/Dance choons reverberating from the outside speakers are entirely necessary - a few hours quiet time each day I would suggest might be an improvement - and I repeat these are minor quibbles and do not detract from the overall positive experience we had.
Given the reputation that the Magaluf area has , we found the Hotel and surrounding area to be very quiet, mostly and I commend the Management and staff for creating a truly wonderful Holiday destination and base.

A very nice and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are always well-renovated and clean. The staff is helpful and courteous. The pool is a bit small but never crowded, and the outdoor ping pong and billiards tables are well-maintained. Entertainment is offered daily, led by Andrea, a friendly and helpful entertainer who knows how to handle vacationers. Palmanova is a quiet place with the opportunity for very interesting and beautiful excursions.

Pretty decent hotel. Very nice pool, and public areas. Breakfast so good. Staff really friendly. Big shout out to Piedad from reception- super friendly and sweet lady 😌 The strip is not a bother at all, and the rooms are pretty good isolated. Very short walk to the beach. You do need some stamina and good physical condition to keep going up the hill though. We will definitely come back.
