The room and other places were very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The view from the terrace was great.
We had a magnificent sunset view from a large open balcony! Staff is very polite and food options were really good.
I had a lovely time at hotel Riu Mónica. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming! On arrival they offered a glass of champagne or juice and offered me an early check in which was great. My room was beautiful with an amazing view of the sea and pool. I enjoyed the facilities , the gym and indoor heated pool as well as the sun loungers at the outside pool. The location is perfect, next to...
Another wonderful stay at this fab hotel. Stayed for 2.weeks. Marvellous staff delicious food and comfortable surroundings. Located on the seafront just a short walk from the centre of Nerja. Our stay was most enjoyable. This was our 4th stay at the Riu Monica. We stayed for 3 weeks and we were well looked after. Wifi was free anywhere in the hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner was lovely so much to choose from. The staff at the Riu Monica are so friendly and helpful always a warm smile from them. The only thing that could have been better is there is no English tv only Sky news. It rained...
What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff kind friendly and super efficient. Our hotel room was on the 3rd floor facing the sea. It was a side sea view but we could see the sea and mountains which was perfect for us. The hotel staff were very kind and provided us with a bottle of fizz for our anniversary. Very thoughtful of them and we didn’t...

A very good family resort. A good selection of food, something for everyone. Well kept gardens and swimming pools. A happy place 👍
We had the most wonderful stay during our wedding week! 💍✨
The hotel exceeded our expectations – everything from the beautiful surroundings to the clean and comfortable rooms made our experience unforgettable. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the moment, and celebrate love.
A special thank you to Greta at the reception – her kindness, professionalism, and warm smile truly made a difference...
It is located about 100 km from Almeria airport on Vera beach. We had booked a suite which was very spacious overlooking pool and sea. There was jacuzzi in the room itself. The hotel had a lot of facilities like big pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, theatre, 2 restaurants and bars. The garden was kept very well. The beach outside was clean and big. They had a special section near the pool and in restaurant...
Was here for 10 days with my kids and some family.
Lovely hotel, apart from some guests wanting to sit on their balcony naked. The balconies are glass and can see everything 🙈. This is not allowed, go to the front office and explain what's going on.
This is not a naturist hotel, they have a sister hotel further down the road for that.
If you are at the beach and the naturists walk up to the hotel part...
Nice 4 stars hotel. Very friendly staff, decent food and easy access to the, usually quiet, sandy beach. The location is irrelevant (fairly remote, which makes the beach with few people only), since the concept is such that leaving the hotel area is unnecessary. We all (kids as well as adults) enjoyed the pool area, both, waterslides and the pool bar. Overall, a lovely experience, and we would happily...
We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were awesome, food was great and varied, we're already working out when we can visit again. OK, so the entertainment was always in Spanish and the only thing we could appreciate was some great Flamenco dancing on one of the nights but we'd still revisit.

Superb location, Spacious Room and Helpful Staff.
I arrived the hotel earlier than check-in time on the day, thinking to drop the luggage and come back later during the day but the staff Clara was very kind and helpful let me check in early because the room is ready. It is very kind gesture.

A great stay! The lovely reception has upgrade our room. Good location, but quiet. Bedding are comfortable. Very big room.
Hotel with a good breakfast and ample parking. It is located directly in front of the marina, and we enjoyed a nice view of the sea and the Rock of Gibraltar. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to visit Gibraltar, as it is within walking distance.
However, the room was quite dated, as is the hotel overall. It does not feel like a four-star property, and the price is high considering...
The room was so spacious and clean.
All the staff were kind.
This hotel located downtown , so we could walk to shops and restaurants .
There is no lights around a table.
I would like to recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, whatever age. Food is great, very plentiful buffet with all dietary requirements considered. Drinks were a fair price too. Hygiene was so-so, the SGE facilities were old, and the breakfast was so-so.
Great location, clean and comfortable room, buffet breakfast was nice, we would stay again if we visit Malaga center in the future.. thank you.
Fabulous hotel in the Soho area of Malaga. Great location! Welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was limited but absolutely adequate, with enough variation. Lovely rooftop terrace! Would not hesitate to recommend and if ever we decide to arrange a long weekend in Malaga again, it will definitely be at the Mariposa Hotel!
This a an absolute gem of a hotel. Very central to everything. 5 mins walk to see the Christmas lights, the centre, the port etc.
Breakfast is a bit limited but good. Rooftop Bar is lovely. Great place to stay.
We spent four nights here in early November. The location is excellent, in the centre of Malaga on a guiet street. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. All of the hotel is clean with a pleasant smell. And the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with great recommendations for nearby cafes and restaurants.
The hotel is in a good location close to old town and the beach. Very walkable which we loved but slightly outside the busy hubbub. The hotel occupies a large area, seemingly converted from a grand estate, with extensive gardens and green spaces, creating an elegant environment. The hotel is over a century old, and the rooms are somewhat dated. Each room has a small balcony. The hotel breakfast is good, with a wide variety of options and a substantial selection.
Very convenient and 24 hr concierge service desk very handy as our ferry was very late arriving
I found it very noisy, being on the ground floor, a single room; too much commotion for a hotel of that category.
Have you ever walked into a room and the people there made it very clear you are not wanted? That's how most of the staff make you feel. The rooms are spacious, but the beds are very uncomfortable. The restaurant is atrocious. It was so bad I wasn't even mad, it was actually funny. The food brought back memories of high school cafeteria food. Overall, not great. Good hotel, wonderful views and excellent service. Loved the pool, beach access and outdoor jacuzzi. Nice bar and very helpful staff.
