We stayed at Hipotel Barrosa Park for an 8-day holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, well organized, and beautifully maintained. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, kind, and professional. We traveled with our children, and even though it was the off-season in December, the hotel arranged excellent activities and entertainment for kids, so we never felt bored...
Everything in this hotel is absolutely perfect, from the very first welcome to the moment of departure. I stayed at the hotel in December, during the off-season, and despite that, there were various activities prepared for guests in the evenings, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff are outstanding – professional, friendly, and always ready to help. They speak many languages, which makes...
Clean room, friendly staff. Great choice of amenities and access to beach.
We arrived and had bad luck with the room (no aircon and noisy) resulting in not much sleep and clearly not what we expected. After talking to the very friendly reception guys we got offered a more quiet room in another building and mechanics came to reset the aircon which then worked afterwards. We are thankful to the whole team. We would also like to highlight the service during meals, breakfast...
Such a lovely stay. This really is an extremely well managed hotel and a perfect getaway. The staff are wonderful - universally friendly, helpful and hardworking. The setting is perfect - just overlooking a lovely beach, and calm and quiet but with evening entertainment if that’s your thing. The pool, gym and common spaces are immaculately clean while the restaurant serves a great range of options...
It is a great hotel ! We had to departure early on our last day which was before the normal breakfast time, they offered a small buffet breakfast for everyone who departed early in the morning. Hotel Abades Nevada Palace, Granada1 / 30

Andalusia, Granada, C. de la Sultana, 3, Genil 🧭 Map
The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, and the rooms are surprisingly large. There's a microwave for heating food, a large supermarket right next door, and McDonald's and other restaurants nearby. The bus stop is a short walk away.
The hotel has a 24 hour check in which is great for those who are arriving late, it’s close to the sports area of Granada and to the shopping Mall Nevada.  The hotel furniture is dated and needs refurbishing, one lift was not working on my trip which meant you has to walk to the opposite side of the hotel to use a lift.   The cafe was not open during my visit. There’s vending machines available to...
Whilst the corridors in the hotel need updated the room itself was great. We were in room 512 with twin beds which were the most comfortable beds. We needed to ask for extra pillows but that was no problem. It might be an idea to provide extra pillows in each room and put them in the upper shelf of the wardrobe. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that. But the food from the bar area was...
The hotel felt more like a large office building than a hotel. The staff were professional and answered questions in both Spanish and English. The carpeted hallways outside the rooms really need to cleaned. The food in the restaurant was hot when it was supposed to be with a decent variety. They had fruit, yogurt, cereal and eggs and a large variety of cheeses and sliced meets. I found that in...
My experience at Abades Nevada Palace Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, with spacious and very clean rooms that provide great comfort after a long day. The staff were professional, polite, and always willing to assist with any request, which made the stay even more pleasant. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city center and public...

It’s always nice to stop there
Beach was fantastic we didn't use the pool hotel is older but rooms and staff were excellent. We paid for the food for one evening dinner, food was ok, lots of restaurants close by which have better value for you euro. Great location.
Property is beautiful. It's a very quiet area so not much to do but relax. We were staying for 6 nights so we had to upgrade to a seaview. 18 euros a night.
I stayed here many years ago as a teenager with my parents and returned this September with my wife. And it was as good currently as it was all those years ago. The facilities, the food, the location and the staff are all brilliant. Special mention to Antonio and Daniel who went above and beyond to help us. I will definitely be back.
This property is right on the beach. Shopping center with multiple restaurants right store.
We visited in October , hotel was quite and surrounding areas were shut down as it was out of season, we ate at hotel which was only option at this time of year, big hotel good facilities with helpful staff, it is positioned on a promenade that is 3-4 km with a huge sandy beach, I would imagine gets busy in the high season , whole resort looks to be only 15-20 years old,

This is our 3rd time coming to this hotel and the 1st time since all Covid restrictions have been lifted. As a British person who lives in Spain I really like this hotel compared to hotels that specialize more to British clients. Because the buffet opens late but for the Spanish customers they eat even later so I can walk straight in without having to wait. I have lunch at 13 and there is not line...
Great hotel 1 hour from the airport Beautiful hotel, big rooms with big beds Lovely powerful shower, great views from our balcony. Beautiful massive beach next to the hotel. Beautiful big swimming pools with slides for smaller and bigger kids also adults and a foam party was lot of fun. Food is lovely and drinks are name branded from a glass bottles which was included in the all inclusive. Staff are...
Solid 4-star Spanish hotel with great pools and beachfront location. Pools and slides are a big plus, especially for families. However, the hotel gets very crowded – long queues in the restaurant mean you need to go early to avoid waiting. Food is repetitive, with a few basic gluten-free options. Branded ice cream and bottled drinks are a nice touch. Unfortunately, bar staff were often unfriendly,...
Great location beach front BUT hotel does not have a private beach, need to pay €10 to use beach chairs and parasols. Beach is small pebble not sand. The hotel is nice, spacious rooms and good size bathrooms, rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels offered. Working AC which is a must. Cleaning staff very friendly. Pool has a lot of loungers very close together and people smoke so be ready to be...
Having read back on British reviews I was concerned that we may be treated differently by the staff. My advice to any brits going would be at least learn some...

Great hotel, nice and clean got everything you need. Room was lovely, couldn’t fault it and a great sea view. Would definitely stay again if we return to benalmadena!

I absolutely love staying at this hotel. I'd rank it along with the best hotels I've ever stayed in, however, this is much, much cheaper. Service, fantastic. Food superb. Staff superb. Cleanliness superb. Rooms, fabulous. Facilities, top drawer. There is nothing I can fault. Fortunately, I'll be back again this year! Happy Days. Ian Bullock, UK
Room was clean but dated. Shower was the best i have experienced in a hotel. Pillows were too soft for me but others may like. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Hotel needs modernization but i would definitely stay there again.
We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.
Stayed for a No Limits track event at Andalucia Circuit. The hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The food was decent. The staff were cheerful and pleasant. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
We stayed for one week full board. Everything was perfect. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous. A special mention goes to the maintenance men who were replacing the large glass door. Also to the dinning room staff, especially Bernardo and the lady with glasses who helped our son regarding vegan food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Ok hotel, nothing special. Basic room. We had B&B basis, breakfast was nice. No tea/coffee making facilities. No English channels on tv. Very, very quiet in November. Irish bar & Italian restaurant closed for the season as were the on site shops. Restaurants close by also closed. A walk of 20-30 mins closer to be centre of Mojácar had cafes, shops, bars & restaurants.

Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star. Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower. My room overlooked the main pool (3008). Quite large balcony areas. Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed. Do take your own towels though as they are not provided. Some beds looked rather grubby...
Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms but the air conditioning could be better. The swimming pools are great but the location to bars/restaurants/shops is not great
We've been coming to the Marina Mar and Marina playa hotels for 20 years now and cannot fault anything! The staff, the food, the service top notch especially if you're a family. A big shout out to Wally in the cafeteria, Juan Carlos and Reyes in the animation team, Maribel and Antonio in the restaurant, just to name a few, but cannot fault any of the team at the Marina Mar. See you next year without...
€5 gym fee per session Charging €5 to use the (empty) gym is a crappy thing to do. Loud “entertainment” till midnight each night.
A dated hotel, pools are saltwater, no entertainment in English but rooms and towels clean ever day, breakfast has a great selection, free parking although sometimes very very full. Plenty of sun beds especially between 15:00-17:00, siesta time, nothing much outside of hotel a bus or car trip to restaurants and bars, beaches close with lifeguards. In all a decent hotel if you are willing to drive
I thought the service in the hotel was absolutely first class. All the members of staff that I had any dealing swith were very helpful and very kind to me, my wife, and my two daughters. This is the 2 stay at the Hotel. It is one of our favourite stops on our journeys. The room, fantastic and roomy with a bathtub, the view of the Atlantic across the street, spectacular. Nightly entertainment enjoyable too. The Spa massages could use improvement. Technique is critical. A full 60 min massage requires the hands, feet head & face to be done. It wasn’t for me. Very pleasant hotel, meets all needs. The only negative is that the use of the wellness area is only possible for a separate fee, even for hotel guests. I think it should be free or very discounted with a certain time limit.

I don't understand how a 4 starts hotel has nor bar service. You must take your drinks by yourself. But prices are the normal from a hotel of this level. Nontheless, the breakfast has large variety of product and its quality is fine. Ms or Mrs Director, i sincerely recommend tu put a waiter to attend the bar in order to high the ratng.
Nice hotel, good position and room with balcony. Unfortunely we didn't have ocean view.
Fantastic experience as always. I've chosen this hotel in summer for decades and it's a source of great pleasure to recharge your batteries. We loved this hotel not because it's the type of hotel we usually like but because it isn't. It's a big family hotel with lots of large uncool folk lounging round the pool. Nice hotel, great rooftop and bar space on top floor. Service is OK, called reception to ask for slippers they told me to come pick them up... Also shower drain was blocked so water flooded the bathroom, this should have been spotted and fixed by housekeeping.
Excellent location, very spacious rooms with spectacular views from its large terrace, it needs some details of renovation but in general it more than meets the requirements. Very large and comfortable bed
I really liked both the location and the customer service. I will surely repeat it again
Despite the facilities the hotel offers, it is quite economical.
Good location, acceptable facilities, very correct cleaning service, one observation is that the smell of the carpet is difficult to hide

Lovely hotel very close to Al Hambra Reception staff are very friendly and helpful Beautiful terrace Nice and quiet area Lovely for treks up the Al Hambra hill Can reach the central area by walking down or the buses which charge nominally or get a taxi
We had a very pleasant stay at Porcel Alixares Hotel in Granada. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Alhambra, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel is set in a quiet area with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
Just locates nearby the La Alhambra but it takes some time to reach by riding the city bus. The room was spacious unexpectedly as it seemed small from the photo. Yet some of the small ants were found near the sink. Bleaches were used instantly from the housekeeper to solve the problems which reflect good service from the hotel staff. A good choice for guests who aim for going to the La Alhambra
The hotel is located directly opposite the Alhambra, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The room was spacious and even had a terrace. I absolutely loved it! It was clean, and the service was excellent. Very satisfied.
Staying at Hotel Alixares and visiting the Alhambra was absolutely perfect! The main entrance to the attraction is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself doesn't have many parking spaces, but the car park across from the Alhambra is super convenient at 22.9 Euros per day. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, though the facilities show some age. The hotel's decor has the unique charm...

The people working in the hotel are 10/10. So friendly and helpful with attending guests at late hours. I just wished there is an indoor pool that is open for use and a free parking and coffee makers in the bedroom.

Good position central for all amenities. Didn't have to fight for a sunbed!
Too many people. Crowded & we were initially given a room with a terrible view right next to the A/C ventilators & over a parking lot. I paid for a superior room so I was so disappointed. Luckily I asked for another room on the second day & the kind Manager moved us to a much better room. But still at about 4am there were drunk men yelling in the hallways.

It is undoubtedly a good hotel, although at first sight it seems like it doesn’t deserve its four stars. The rooms are old-fashioned and the bathrooms are old. This hotel is entirely centred around the Spanish in every sense. I get we are in Spain (before the comments start) but...

The hotel is basic need and the size is big and good for the price, however the parking is expensive, the breakfast is good
Brilliant location, plenty of private parking (with a fee). Simple booking process. Easily accessible hotel.
Very good price, situated in very close area to Alhambra. Not having to drive to narrow street of Granada is a plus. Have own paid parking spaces. Unfortunately, we are stuck in Doha because of ongoing middle east situation during March 2026, we try to apply for a refund with the hotel but they won’t allow us. Trip.com offered us a compensation paying out their own pockets even when the hotel won’t...

An excellent hotel not in the middle of granada on the outskirts but one bus or if you fancy a taxi ride away from the centre big very clean rooms bar and restaurant if you want the most attentive staff for what you pay outstanding value I'm very lucky I've visited many hotels around the world and this without doubt is in my top 10 not because it's very expensive but because it's very good for the...

Not enough socket outlets, a 1970's design thing that needs upgrading to cover our proliferating electronic devices. Same with lack of USB 3 OR C, sockets. Simple replacement of existing sockets would help here. Breakfast & Dinner buffets were excellent, reception and housekeeping first rate. All in all, I'd return.
Totally amazing hotel! Staff were great (especially Pepe) and the rooms were clean and spacious. There were also very fun programs throughout the day. I highly recommend coming here if you like having a great time!
The biggest plus to this hotel is the staff. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marta with the kids club is AMAZING. The minidisco she hosted the night we stayed was SO fantastic. She's so great with the kids. My daughter loved it. The rooms are the big downside. Easily the worst beds we've ever slept in at a hotel. The mattresses were so hard, the pillows flat and stiff. The room was pretty run...
Very comfortable large room with view of the beach. Excellent service from all staff who were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner had an excellent choice with good variety and the food was delicious. Would return for a relaxing holiday
We had an amazing stay at Sol Guadalmar and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding — always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered exceptional sea views. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent throughout...
The hotel is fantastically located directly on the sea. All rooms have frontal or side sea views. On one side, there are apartments, on the other, a natural plot with parking. Nice for those seeking peace and quiet, but boring for those who might want to stroll in the evening. A taxi ride to the airport, downtown Málaga, or Torremolinos costs around €17.00, each 15 minutes. There's a bus stop in front...
