Just spent a week here, and I have to say its a beautiful place. The food is really good lots of choice. The views are absolutely amazing. The room was immaculate and this was kept up throughout the stay . It was so close to the beach I could go for a swim and be back in my hot shower in 2 minutes . I ate in the adjoining sister hotel where I had been advised by other guests that the food was of a higher standard. I was very pleased with the quality and variety of meals. It was however disappointing to see many guests wearing pool-side clothes to dinner.

Everything was very good. Pleasant service, a clean room (cleaned every day), and tasty food. One thing wasn’t great — drinks for lunch and dinner had to be paid for separately (including water, coffee, tea, etc.) and there was no kettle in the room. Best hotel in Marbella! The overall quality ensures you’ll have a wonderful stay. From perfect rooms with sea view, to wonderful food across the different restaurants and buffés. I was worried by all the negative reviews so was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is perfectly situated, I had a sea view and could hear the waves from my balcony on the 11th floor. The staff were all hard working and they made everything work well. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the harbour which is peaceful in the daytime. Left 2 weeks ago, Steer clear from this hotel if your English, none of the staff with be polite to you, especially the lifeguard round the pool, Spanish guests can do what they want, English guests just get glared at. Another great stay at the Portomagno. It has been taken over (yet again) by a different brand but almost the same quality. The facilities were average, the room was hot, the dining room was dirty, etc. The food was not very varied, the pasta was bland and the tomato sauce was watery and tasteless. They gave you leftover food from the day before. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, my whole body was covered in mosquito bites. I do not recommend the hotel.

I had two bookings and only stayed one night before going to another hotel for two nights, then returned for three more nights under the other booking. Great hotel for the golfing community, or if you want somewhere quiet. A fantastic pool area, or if you prefer sea and sand, it's a stones throw from the sea and some great beaches. Rooms were dated and not very clean. Previous occupants nail clippings and eyelashes were on the bedroom floor! Lobby and restaurant are much better, food was tasty but usually only lukewarm. We have loved this hotel from the very first time, so we returned again after 2 years, the place near the sand afore, gardens of the hotel very nice, the town clean but poor in services and restaurants out of season, lots of buildings all empty end of may, must be very very crowded in high season. The period we have been there, mid may, there has been lots of children (school classes), running around...

Fantastic hotel which is attached the the shopping centre and the major train station. Excellent buffet restaurant at the front and lovely staff who were very helpful with finding ways to get to the city centre. Room was lovely and big and bathroom shower was amazing!!!

Everything was fine, but I didn't expect that booking a room directly there would be more expensive. Also, when I was collecting my luggage, they didn't tell me that it had already been taken out, so I had to wait there.

The hotel has a fantastic location! It's right next to the train and bus stations, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing! There are many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to attractions or the old town! A wide variety of supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, perfect for satisfying your cravings! Highly recommended!

The location is convenient for taking the train to nearby places, such as Grenada. There is a large shopping mall next to the hotel and it is also a 20-minute walk to the tourist attractions. The breakfast is good and the room is comfortable. However, the towels for the swimming pool on the 8th floor need to be picked up in the basement.

Had a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, have been to this hotel before but not since the refurbishment. Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Being a 4* would have expected a kettle or coffee machine. Rooms cleaned daily, clean bedding, very spacious rooms x2 double beds...

This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in Mojacar. Coming at end of the season jet2 only had two choices. Food: for the first few days we knew what we were eating and then the labels disappeared. . There is a qr code to get allergens which is USELESS if you can’t identify the meal. I asked at reception for labels to be put back and same that night. So sent an email and labels returned. Room...

Brilliant space, two double beds, Fabulous bathroom. The terrace was Excellent, with sea view and could also see entertainment on the evening. Very Easy came by car. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Greeting from reception great the young lady was so helpful, let us view the room because we had just walked out of somewhere else which was not acceptable. Gorgeous and luxurious. Fixtures...

Beautiful hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Spent 3 nights here for a short break, the room was spacious with 2 double beds which were very comfortable, it was spotless and cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We have already booked another break here.
