Perfect location and nice Hotel with a lot of amenities.
Great place, lovely vibe. Rooms are super spacious and cozy, mattresses are made of stone, internet is barely useable, also from the stone age. (the wifi is 1.5Mb down... phone hotspot 40Mb down...which is also wireless... l o l ) Fine for a night though!
Lovely hotel, rooms a little basic. Breakfast was a challenge as the hot food was always on the cool side and the bacon was like chewing rubber. Location is on the quiet side but the grounds and pool area definitely the best bit of the hotel.
Been there in May. Amazing hotel. Good parking. Next year I'll surely be back
It was the perfect place for a business conference. The building and rooms were well taken care of. The food was excellent and plentiful.
We have loved this hotel from the very first time, so we returned again after 2 years, the place near the sand afore, gardens of the hotel very nice, the town clean but poor in services and restaurants out of season, lots of buildings all empty end of may, must be very very crowded in high season. The period we have been there, mid may, there has been lots of children (school classes), running around...

I’ve been going to this specialist for a long time, even back when she worked at another place, and I was so happy to follow her to her own studio. I truly wouldn’t trust my skin to anyone else. She is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, and you can really feel how much she cares about her clients and the results. Every visit feels personal, calm, and relaxing. I’m beyond happy with the results...
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall for a little business trip. I had the all inclusive package and was happy to see there was consistent food and drink options throughout the day. The staff and bartenders were all very lovely and accommodating to any questions. The room was spacious with a decent sized balcony if needed. I would say entertainment could have been slightly better/longer as most...
I was given a nice room which is recently been renovated. I noted the shower was fabulous and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was nice the staff was super efficient however I couldn't hear myself think for the noise in the dinning room. People were shouting to each other because the dinning room was packed. Note It's a bit of a walk from the beach however if you're looking for a cheap all...
We arrived last Friday for 7 days, the hotel is good but could be loads better. Firstly when we arrived it was clear that the hotel was tired and was what seems like two hotels attached together so the layout was all weird. Our cleaner in our room would always leave only two towels for 3 people and the bath didn’t have a plug, we had to go down to reception to get a clean towel and when asking for...
Value for money hotel A good value for money hotel, always clean with a good standard of food and drink with excellent service. Like all hotels of this age it is in need of some improvements and updating but overall the experience was positive
Amazing staff very friendly. Great space around the pool and lots of space for loungers. The food was nice too in the hotel.

Reception staff welcoming and also fantastic at check out. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, would benefit from having a washing up sponge and washing up liquid to wash coffee cups, just an idea :-) Every area clean. Loved the waterfall feature in the central lobbies. Food was lovely, everyone is so hard working, well done to all. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Really enjoyed
Everything was really good — clean rooms, a beautiful hotel environment, and delicious food.
Very clean hotel, staff went the extra mile, we had a couple of rainy days and the entertainment team made sure the guests were still entertained. Good selection for eating, very fresh and varied each day. Only negative if it even is one, there’s only one table tennis table and you have to go to reception to get bats and ball with an hour slot, tried on a few occasions but was always just missing out...
The restaurant staff, especially Alberto, were very good. They used to make veggie food twice a day for us. The only problem was that there was a very limited choice. T The restaurant opening times are late. You are not allowed free drinks in the sister hotels even though you have gone all inclusive. The reception staff were also very helpful. Evening entertainment also starts very late at...
The staff were superb from reception to, the cleaning staff, to the activity team at pool side. Cannot fault them, fantastic all round. Hotel itself seemed I little run down. Quite a lot of things in disrepair or damaged. For example, the mini golf course is in desperate need of repair. There were cracked windows and boarded up windows. The kids play area outside the kids club was in bad repair. ...
Just spent a week here, and I have to say its a beautiful place. The food is really good lots of choice. The views are absolutely amazing. The animation team work there socks off, never stop entertaining. The bar staff, hotel staff and restaurant staff are so good and work so hard. So friendly too.

Nice staff, good room but to use spa facilities you have to pay extra fee.
Cleaning staff were amazing and always had the place spotless, and cleaned room to a really high standard. The staff in general were all fantastic. Poole areas were great and the bar staff were very friendly and approachable. We got the all inclusive which was great for the drinks, the food was the only let down for me. It was fine but I wouldn’t be relying on for all meals, it was a bit bland and...
The room was immaculate and this was kept up throughout the stay . It was so close to the beach I could go for a swim and be back in my hot shower in 2 minutes . Perfect for morning runs & walks too . Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and the classes had fabulous leaders . It was an excellent place to stay
Lovely hotel. It's 3 connecting hotels. Entertainment everyday. Staff were always at reception and polite. Reason I gave it 4 stars - the room for 3 adults was not great. Fairly small room and the bathroom is even smaller - which is a shame because from the outside, the building is really nice. Lots of food choices to pick from, but it does not massively change day-by-day
I ate in the adjoining sister hotel where I had been advised by other guests that the food was of a higher standard. I was very pleased with the quality and variety of meals. It was however disappointing to see many guests wearing pool-side clothes to dinner.

Very good hotel with excellent services and food. Spotless clean
Had a wonderful 10 days at this hotel, have been to this hotel before but not since the refurbishment. Little niggle about the refurbishment, no usb sockets fitted with new plug sockets, most hotels now have USB sockets. No kettle in the room, we hired a kettle for €20. Being a 4* would have expected a kettle or coffee machine. Rooms cleaned daily, clean bedding, very spacious rooms x2 double beds...
Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean. Great rooms. Food was really nice and plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again!
This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in Mojacar. Coming at end of the season jet2 only had two choices. Food: for the first few days we knew what we were eating and then the labels disappeared. . Everything was very good. Pleasant service, a clean room (cleaned every day), and tasty food. One thing wasn’t great — drinks for lunch and dinner had to be paid for separately (including water, coffee, tea, etc.) and there was no kettle in the room. Very nice sea view, and I don’t know why people say the hotel needs renovation — in my opinion everything is fine.
This hotel was clean, comfortable bed, clean bedsheets. Unfortunately the shower had didn't work but there was a bathtub which was enough. The area around the hotel is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the seating arrangement in the buffet is ridiculous. The food is good and lots of variety. But they have you do this weird yellow sheet system and a ridiculous long waiting line waiting to be seated. The waiters...
A very pleasant experience, a hotel with a beautifully landscaped exotic garden, with an added charm and funny decorations inspired by Halloween (I was accommodated at the end of October). Spent 4 nights here in October with my wife. No major complaints, found it to be a great Hotel. Standing out foremost were the staff. Well turned out, friendly (99%), helpful, and in our opinion hardworking. First time in Benalmadena and the hotel is a perfect location to be able to visit all the different areas. Good variety of shops and restaurants nearby. This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like the location and that it caters to adults rather than families. The room are a little dated but they’re comfortable with good amenities
Just returned from a 3 week stay at this lovely hotel. This is out 8th or 9th time and yes there are a few changes, mainly the evening happy hour has gone but still one at lunchtime! The rooms are well equipped and spacious, food was delicious and the location to everything is perfect. We will see you next time Angela!
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the beach is directly across the street. The room was always left perfectly clean by the great staff here. Without notice the staff left a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate my birthday and left a heartfelt note. The only downside is the reservation of pool lounges, other guests would queue at 8:15am to keep lounges to themselves...

Pleasant hotel, the room was a bit dated but clean. A very nice outdoor pool.
This hotel although a little dated had excellent facilities and good food. Be careful if you like an early night as we were in a junior suite which was right on top of the bar. The noise went on a little too late for us on a few nights. The entertainment stopped at 11.45 but the people didn't 😊
The staff was great at this hotel. They were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. The pool is really nice, and this hotel is right on the beach! The beach was amazing, and we walked back and forth between the pool & beach all day long. Also - Stephanie at the spa gives great massages! We took a taxi from the train station for $31 (Euro).
4.10.2025 My second stay at Hotel Amaragua in Torremolinos was generally okay, though the room was smaller than on my previous visit. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis — breakfast was lovely. We chose not to have lunch by the pool, as the service was very slow; it was actually quicker to walk along the promenade to a nearby restaurant. A couple of issues arose during our stay: one morning,...
Plus points: Lovely hotel and location. We had a sea view room, which was beautiful. Very good location. Very close to the train station. Breakfast buffet was more than enough as there was a variety of offerings.
Very well located and large rooms. Some sea view rooms are side on with no sun so it’s worth asking before room is assigned. Check in slow but once done very nice hotel for the price point

Had a lovely stay with my sister at the hotel. The staff was really nice. Omar with his (magic) tricks. Carlo(s) always in for a chat. And one of the members (unfortunately I don’t know his name) could even speak Dutch :)! The location was perfect, the rooms were clean and the food was diverse and warm.
I had the opportunity to visit this hotel for an evening, joining my sister for dinner while she was a guest. While I didn't stay overnight, I was able to get a good feel for the facilities, the food, and the entertainment on offer. The first thing that struck me was the hotel's aesthetic. Poor experience in this hotel. First, the hotel has multiple buildings and they did not inform us which set of elevators we should use. Nice 4 stars hotel. Very friendly staff, decent food and easy access to the, usually quiet, sandy beach. The location is irrelevant (fairly remote, which makes the beach with few people only), since the concept is such that leaving the hotel area is unnecessary. We all (kids as well as adults) enjoyed the pool area, both, waterslides and the pool bar. Overall, a lovely experience, and we would happily...
We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were awesome, food was great and varied, we're already working out when we can visit again. OK, so the entertainment was always in Spanish and the only thing we could appreciate was some great Flamenco dancing on one of the nights but we'd still revisit.

Whilst overall we had a pleasant and enjoyable holiday, there are definitely some areas for improvement, particularly regarding first impressions. Check in was diabolical. We waited for around 1 hour 30 minutes just to get to the reception desk. During this time, there were no refreshments offered, no other member of staff to speak to and we had 2 extremely tired, hungry and grumpy children with us...
Our stay at the Mediterráneo Hotel & Spa was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The food was a real highlight — there was a great variety every day, and everything we tried was fresh, tasty, and well presented. The children had an amazing time, especially with the slides, which were open daily and kept very clean. It made such a difference knowing they could play safely while we relaxed. The...
Thoroughly enjoyable experience , friendly and welcoming staff, good choice and quality of food, clean and comfortable rooms, clean and relaxing pool area. Right on the beach with cycle and walk paths.
What a fantastic hotel, food, location, facilities, staff all amazing We have just come home from an amazing week in this hotel, a short flight from the UK and a 45 minute transfer via coach. All really smooth travelling as a family of four with two young children. The location Outstanding, right on the beach (very small pebbles not sandy) a short walk to some nice shops and redone way and the...
Loved this hotel! My little boy had the best time, due to him been autistic it took a while for them to get use to him and we did feel a little ignored at first and had to mention it to the rep because at one point the staff was talking about us and it even made other guests uncomfortable. It is a lovely hotel, nice and clean, I went the middle of October and just a pre warn they start to pack up the...
What a fantastic hotel the staff, rooms and food all amazing. Great choice of food and drinks. Sunbeds are always available throughout the day not one of those places where people are putting towels out at 5am. The beach is 2 mins away accessible via the pool area. Definitely recommend and will be going back again soon 👍

Just perfect. Everything was top notch from the rooms, the fixtures and fittings, and the beds with a choice of pillows and the best week of sleep ever! The staff were attentive and efficient. All the interior of the hotel was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and just felt great to be there. The food was amazing every day. Quality entertainment if you wanted it but plenty of other spaces...
Whilst this hotel is in a beautiful location. Stunning scenery, find hotel food lacking especially in the evening can be crowded and bit of a bun fight. Difficult to catch attention to get a drink with meal. Lunch time meal excellent fresh salads etc. Room has a wonderful view. Staff I've encountered are all friendly and attentive. Only been here a day and they started closing pool bar at 08:00pm...
This hotel and staff were excellent from arrival to departure. The room we had was very nice and overlooked the estuary and sea. The only downside was no light on the balcony, but this is a minor moan Food was presented very well and always plenty of variety, I love seafood, so i was in my element , breakfast also had plenty of choice. The facilities for guests include a gym ️‍♂️ with updated equipment...
Peaceful, relaxed, the hotel gives spa vibes! Very much an older audience and a higher end experience. Comfortable beds, large stylish rooms. If you want hustle bustle, this place isn’t for you. I’m baffled by some of the reviews about the food - there are different meats, fish, seafood every night. Beautiful salads and potatoes, different breads and cheeses. All the spirits at the bar are branded...
Third visit and still a fantastic hotel.Food is delicious, plenty of room to sit/lie outside round the pools and staff very friendly and helpful.Special mention to Carlos on reception who helped us upgrade even when hotel was almost full and to Julia in the dining room for her friendly and efficient service.

We stayed here in September and were amazed by the friendliness, cleanliness and entire atmosphere in the resort. From the moment of checking in, throughout the entire stay and also at the breakfast / dinner super polite and professional service, while giving the human and welcoming touch. Totally recommended!
Another excellent visit, we had a very enjoyable stay. Great food and accommodation. This is the best Barcelo we have stopped at so far. The Andalusian building style is very pleasing with its waterfalls and displays of flowers.
Hotel was clean and tidy, staff very good and the housekeeping staff were very good at their work. Food in restaurant was not of the temprature that l would expect.
Brilliant all round. Great hotel in great location. Staff always willing to assist with any query, Have visited before and will definitely be back .
The Hotel is nice but not for couples with the intention to relax. Food is good, but nothing too special. Rooms are not that good in shape but still clean.
Have just had a truly amazing massage with Martha-thank you to her for her strong, expert hands!! My sister also had a beautiful massage with Maria! Gracias a todos😃
