It's located in the very center, on Plaza Catalunya, and has a panoramic balcony with sea views
The staff provided outstanding personalized service, with multilingual reception and knowledgeable concierge. Room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and featured premium bedding and modern amenities
Exceptional hotel in the heart of Barcelona! Perfect central location within walking distance to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, and Plaza Catalunya
A wonderful hotel with a delicious breakfast—you can order an omelet or eggs, lots of fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, and juices
The on-site restaurant serves excellent authentic cuisine. Truly the ideal base for exploring Barcelona - combines prime location with 5-star service!
Great location right on the main square and around the corner from the main tourist district. Hotel restaurant is incredible.
Service has been very good. Room is comfortable and has all we need.
public spaces decorated & furnished like a 4* hotel and the food was of very high quality- better than many 5*’s I have stayed in. nice pool, sheltered from breezes, always plenty of sunbeds
When I woke I had a full sea view from the balcony, room was adequate but no T&C or fridge. comfy bed, bath tub! plenty of HW and storage space
hotel at centre of activity with kiosks selling boat & bus trips (including Girona & BCN airports), information centre for Malgrat in building, bus stop right outside front door
All the staff were friendly, helpful and smiley including reception, cleaning ladies and restaurant. Restaurant staff work really hard, but always find a moment to chat or at least smile
my flight was delayed by bad weather in Barcelona and I just managed to catch the last train from Barcelona Sants which was late & arrived at Malgrat station around 00
I had an amazing week in this hotel. The stuff is helpful, polite and kind. Our room was basic, but it got all what you need. The beach is huge, beautiful, clean and just across the hotel

I don't understand the negative reviews for this hotel. Yes, it's a little dated and the pool is small. Although this is all in the photos before booking. It was a great location for a week in Lloret
We had a small issue with the air con and maintenance sorted it within the hour. Blankets and extra pillows when asked for. The food was what you expect from a 3-star all-inclusive
We found options for every breakfast and dinner. Ours wasn't cold! The rooms can be noisy but that's more the loud guests and not the hotel's fault
Some behaviour from guests after a few drinks was appalling, felt sorry for the staff. Small supermarket, tobacco shop, restaurants and launderette all within a stone's throw from the hotel
Our room was clean, lovely hot shower and well-maintained by the maid daily. We had a triple room and all beds were proper beds and comfortable
Loved the location and lovely reception staff were really helpful the hotel decor is something from 70s and needs a little updated and rooms need soundproofing pool and hotel was really clean and food was average but as a solo traveler I was really happy that I could book a solo room and it was cheap and fantastic value for money so I'm very happy and would stay here again

I couldn’t praise this hotel enough, plenty of pools to chill around and the food was incredible especially at lunch. The rooms are average for a family hotel
Entertainment has been amazing and this hotel is very close to a lot of things bars, beach etc
In general It was a nice experience, the hotel is well located, the rooms are well fine with good views and the meals were fine too
still here for a few more days and looking forward to the said 'improvements'. Adding some photos in the meanwhile]
[update 1 Aug: never heard from them again. (back at home now), keeping the review as is]
Outdated rooms in the Palace part. Everything is old, the bathroom has toilets with chalk stains, you have to stand in the tub to use a very old school small shower head. The water changes temperature
Not a place to relax as you can only sit up straight in them. The washing line for drying towels and swim gear hangs loose, it probably came off the wall and was just wrapped around the fence

Wonderful location. Beach was great. Staff’s dining recommendations were perfect. Awesome breakfast which included gluten free options.
Great Modern Hotel at a fair price. Super location in front of the beach. Palms and walk paths in front. Love the breakfast!!!
The rooms are very clean, breakfast is very good and the staff are very helpful, the let down for this hotel is the swimming pool, it’s dated and with the roof closed it’s too hot.
The only flag I want to see flown in Spain is their own flag. The Spanish gov and business councils need to put an end to this crap. It was way worse in Barcelona but we were sad to experience in in Lloret De Mar
On the second floor, the water really smells. The room, mine at least on the second floor, was in perfect condition. The view and the location is very good (for the rooms which has a sea view)
we enjoyed the view and thew hotel itself. The mornings were a bit loud out front with the hustle of business but that was ok

the the location is superb we loved san salvador it's a sleepy friendly place to be we would definitely go back perhaps not the hotel not that we didn't like it just had a few niggles like having to pay for water in evening and afternoon meals we where half board we ended up sneaking our drink into the dining room the pool was lovely but it definitely needs a lifeguard as was very chaotic...
People who are working in hotel are very polite and helpful, despite the fact that they are having quite stressful daily situation with asocial guests around!
Beach is only few minutes away from the Hotel ( by walking)
Lovely hotel, spacious room with a nice balcony. Food was really good and well priced. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet 5* - loads of choice and a good variety of food
Restaurants offers very wide options of possible menu with very strong chairs and tables since there's so many overweight people who are enjoying daily in their meals so long dinner is served 👍
Hotel combines different people of guests with lots of people from Spain itself which is very nice to see
It's a shame we felt the hotel was lovely ,and the staff were as helpful as could be but it just seemed lacking they seemed set in a routine every day and where very focused on that we had a lovely time though we made the most of it and enjoyed everything we could
My partner is disabled we have a wheelchair i wouldn't say this hotel is disabled friendly the lifts where a bit of a struggle with the chair as the doors in front of the lift door was hard to get in the lift with them, it made it a struggle

The hotel is clean, Breakfast is varied, well located, close to the sea
Include the breakfast in the price and is good but if you need to paid $15 for that doesn’t work
The beach was just in front of the Hotel. Good location, away from the downtown where its more busy and traffic
We stayed here for a week and we couldn’t recommend more! Location is perfect and a 10 minute walk from the metro and the beach is 200m away. Pool area is small but lovely and the views are great
Clean but basic. The rooftop pool and terrace was very disappointing-did not reflect pictures on the app.
The front desk staff were wonderful. Very helpful. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Fresh fruit and great coffee.
The hotel is clean and staff very friendly, and very eager to help when we ran into issues in the meeting rooms. The supplies in the meeting rooms and breakout corners was well stocked
Great location and view of the beaches from our room
I really wanted to love my stay at Calipolis and I did! the Team at the hotel across the board could not be more welcoming helpful or friendly! I had a few issues booking but the speed of correspondence from the hotel was superb and they more than composated for that!
One small area is just the size of the pool making getting a sunbed sometimes challenging and also noisy with kids
They had the room ready! Thanks Jose Gonzales and Alexy for making the trip comfortable by having the room ready even though I checked-in earlier than the time! After a long flight, I just needed a shower and sleep
Very special shout out here to Arantxa and Carlota!!! The service was exceptional. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The lighting was excellent and the bed very comfortable
We had a business meeting here so it was a group booking. The hotel staff was amazing! I had informed I would be traveling from the US and arriving early(~11:00 AM)

Great daily breakfast which we received with our room price
The fresh sea breeze in the morning wakes up and refreshes the senses while the occasional visit from birds (seagulls, owls etc)keep you remind you of the unparallel natural beauty of this surprisingly stunning property tucked away somewhere along the shores of Blanes
From the moment we arrive till the departure everything was perfect: parking, check in/out, booking for tennis, paddle surf, breakfast, etc!
Unique combination of beach and pool which is great to switch from one to the other without going up and down like in other hotels in Costa Brava
Very nice place and very convenient for groups and families
You can easily stay at the pool or at the beach meanwhile others are in spa or tennis or any other activity
All with a very familiar service
One of our most amazing family vacations we have had. Great staff, welcoming and professional. Spectacular setting, amazing private beach, fantastic facilities, truly relaxing and unique off the beaten track luxury
The hotel is in a great location right above the beach with a nice private cove close by. The breakfast was amazing and an overall great experience

There is a restaurant next to it, you have choices to exercise different sports like fitness, paddle, tennis 🎾 , table tennis 🏓, paddle board, kajaking, swimming 🏊, diving and snorkeling 🤿, and so on… or just relax and enjoy the sun at the beach 🏝️
Ample things to do for children and adults and a very safe place for everyone to be relaxed and enjoy a beautiful scenery. The location is great: between hills and directly at the Mediterranean Sea
In the evening there’s some entertainment foreseen and during the day there are also activities like for example a quiz which is fun to do in group while having a drink
The kids clubs are great and take age into account so that they can truly enjoy the activities ranging from arts 🎭 to sports 🏐
Just beware that the water may be a little bit more chilly as it is more north, but it is very welcome on hot august days 😉
We have been there several years and the kids just love it. For us it is great to be together with family and friends
On the beach front with everything you need on your doorstep. Not enough loungers at the pool but the beach is across the road. Cleaned every other day and reception staff friendly and welcoming
The otherwise nice pool could be overcrowded instantly with children jumping, diving, splashing. Nice hotel if crowds of children doesn't bother you
just returned from 2 weeks in Stella Maris thanks for a great holiday. hotel is spotlessly clean and staff were great. restaurant staff Juan Carlos, Ana, Lupe, Tania, Juani were always happy and attentive
Brilliant service and very pleasant staff, especially the young lady who was very friendly and helpful. Will visit again for food.
bar staff Angel and Mariajose always pleasant and gave great service. the girls behind reception also first class
There is a laundrette attached if you wanted to use it and a nice bar at the entrance
The location was excellent, a short walk from the beach and benifited from good shade and sunshine areas in the lower pool, with the rooftop pool was for the sun worshipers
First mention to young Marco at reception, very polite & attentive, Mika & Albert both ran the restaurant very efficiently, especially when busy with large tables on week 2, Jose the bartender was always smiling and good at his job, the table service was also good especially during the evening entertainment, which changed each week, the daily activities ran by Christian & Andrea were such great fun...
We didn't want to leave our gorgeous room but we were upgraded to the top floor with an even bigger room and free passes to the spa. Food was diverse and very tasty, especially for a small hotel
Here for 21 nights half board with Tui, from the moment we checked-in until we checked out we have loved everything, reception, dining, daily activities and the evening entertainment, our room was cleaned daily and the linen & towels were also changed daily, the hotel is spotless everywhere
From the moment we stepped through the doors we were welcomed, and throughout our stay felt accommodated. The range of drinks (all inclusive) was excellent and of good quality
The chef's work so hard, we really appreciated them. Overall a great stay, thank you to all the wonderful staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Golden Costa

It immediately made the stay feel personal and intentional. Upon checking in, guests are welcomed with free-flow bubbly from Barcelona, trays of chocolates, and a hospitality team that genuinely makes you feel cared for
The hotel sits directly across from Palau de la Música Catalana, and within walking distance to the Barcelona Cathedral and the Gothic Quarter, where every street and building feels layered with history and character
Very attentive - Review
First off, the hotel's location is excellent. The popular Jon Cake and the Spanish churros shop are nearby, and there's a supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient
Even before arriving, I received thoughtful emails from their Experience Team — and yes, they actually call it the Experience Team — asking if there was anything I needed ahead of check-in
From the exterior, you still see the classic architectural curves and aged character of the city, while inside, the interiors are dark, modern, contemporary, and thoughtfully designed
I also appreciated the well-equipped gym and sauna, which allowed me to maintain my workout routine while travelling. One of the nicest touches was the turndown service every evening

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is fantastic – just a short walk from a beautiful beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sea every day without any hassle
Awesome location! The hotel is just 100m from the beach. The room is cozy and it was very clean. It was cleaned and our towels were changed everyday
, even though the hotel was definitely not fully booked during the off-season. Despite the overall good rating, this left a bad impression
Also, great appreciation to the tanned young waiter with the mustache and beard (apologies for not knowing his name, If you could help me with his first and last name so I know who he is, I’d be happy) – his positive attitude and dedication added so much warmth to our experience
Both of them are an absolute credit to the hotel and deserve the highest praise. However, I must point out that our experience with Ms. Juani, who welcomed guests at the entrance of the restaurant, was disappointing
The rooms were modern, comfortable, and very well-maintained. They were cleaned daily, which really made a difference and added to the overall comfort of the stay. One of the highlights for me was the staff
AC hotel Tarragona is located close to the start of the Rambla Nova and puts you within walking distance of the amazing historical sites here in Tarragona. Have no regrets in choosing to stay at the AC hotel Tarragona!!
What you would expect from the Marriott brand. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by wonderful, friendly and professional front desk staff member. The room is clean with kettle to boil water for coffee/tea
We were a little "freaked out" lol by the bathroom sink as it is clear glass and you can see down to the floor - that was a new one for us lol
Stayed at this hotel for two nights last week. A good location for walking to the sights. Room was clean and staff was efficient and cordial.
My partner and I stayed here for one night for a quick stop off/rest as part of a larger trip. The accommodation was pretty much as expected for a budget hotel. Quick, efficient, super affordable, good location
Otherwise we arrived in mid-March, during much higher than normal seasonal temperatures and the air conditioning wasn't available

We have had picnic lunch made up for us when going out for day trips. The hotel is over-looking the sea and is a 10min walk to the train station, with great links into Barcelona. I would highly recommended staying here
The location is good as it’s close to the beach and shops , staff in the hotel are lovely but the hotel itself is rundown. From the outside it’s gorgeous but the rooms need updated
A perfect place for tourist to be.
Things are cheap in the area compared to other places.
Good hotel service and staff
Lively
Free access to the beach.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at HTOP PLANAMA
We booked for 1 night 2 adults and a baby and were giving 2 single beds pushed together with a 3rd single bed against the wall - we struggled to get in the room with our suitcase and pram
Absolutely lovely place to stay. Staff was very nice and friendly and food was good too. Can't complain about it at all
Excellent service, attentive to us at all times. The reception service was the best.

Great hotel - ideal location close to the beach and amenities, beautiful view of the beach and sea, very nice food with a range of options, clean and tidy hotel, very friendly and helpful staff
Stayed for four nights towards the end of September. We had a twin room with sea view on the 4th floor. The room had great views from the balcony, was reasonably spacious and the beds were comfortable
Great location
Great location, Sant Pol is prettier than the main part of Sant Feliu de Guixols and has more facilities than S'Agro beach.
I loved the easy access to the beach and the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel’s amenities, including the pool and restaurant, were top-notch. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway!
Breakfast was fine with a range of options to choose from. Overall good value for money. If you have a car, I would recommend the hotel parking at €12 as it saves a lot of hassle trying to find a space nearby
The bathroom needed some updating and was on the small side, but functional (good shower) and fine for our needs. Housekeeping was very good, the room was kept spotless with towels changed when required

not great!! No pool Entertainment offered! They offer yoga and meditation but nowhere is there an itinerary so had no idea when or where these are taking place so unfortunately did not get to participate
We always book the room superior in the top of the hotel. The room was always cleaned up every day. The personal is very kind and want to do everything to make you comfortable. The food was good and from good quality
Nice hotel which puts emphasis on calm and relaxation
The staff is professional and will be at your service anytime
Rooms are spacious, well enlighted
The restaurant is a self-service which offers a large panel of food and beverages from breakfast until diner
At night, the bar is a cool place where to relax, enjoy some drinks and soft music
Lastly, there are two pools (one adult only) and a beautiful...

Free flow of champagne in the lobby, amazing! Good location, many restaurants around and close to the subway station! Rooms are clean & don’t miss the poolside! Staffs are helpful and friendly, will definitely come again!
There is a tourist spot at the entrance of the hotel. Chocolates will be delivered in the evening. The breakfast is also very good. The most praiseworthy thing is the handsome guy who helped with the luggage
Well what can I say about this hotel?! It is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were spacious and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and rooftop area was amazing
super friendly staff, really nice room and ample amount of space
Excellent in every way – location, cleanliness, facilities, and service! Highly recommended!
Cathedral views from the room and beautiful views from the rooftop
Sunbeds €20 for the day for 2 with table and umbrella, very comfy. Restaurant 108 very Spanish but English speaking not great. A restaurant next door not foreign friendly in fact not welcoming foreigners at all
Menu entirely Spanish so didn’t attempt to go in. Television all Spanish channels, English ones seem to have been switched off. Local bars would not put English football on only Spanish
Have been going to Spain since I was 19 now 59. Based on this trip would not go again. Welcoming and all year round sun and friendly people. If you don’t want us we won’t come
Great hotel with very tasty and varied food, if in La Pineda, only the Best Terramariny !
Just got back from a 4 night stay for a birthday. Room a bit strange set up not much privacy due to a sink in the main bedroom. A frosted glass toilet door 😒room small
