As always had a wonderful stay. Love the hotel and the staff are amazingly friendly. The hotel to be fair is a little dated but will be being refurbished next year.
We'll be back😀
Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. Heated pool - very important in February 😄 We'll be back.
Little if anything to fault, other than that the hotel requires an uplift, decor, furnishings etc. The staff are competent, hardworking, and courteous
The concierge staff always pleased to assist - in particular Santiago, who in my view epitomises the true and effective hospitality professional
The room water boiler for making tea was very basic with no tea bag or no coffee provided in the room!
The sofa bed for kids are very small, my daughter easily fell down and i ended up sleeping on the sofa bed and she on the main bed which was two single bed connected
Rooms start to need a renovation and modernize to 21st century (USBs, comfy chairs in rooms, more modern bathrooms and overall decor). Annoying noise from construction in building next door every day from around 9am

The pool was very clean and the water was a good temperature. They provide towels with a €10 deposit for the pool. There's live entertainment and/or music every night. All the staff were very friendly
It could use some renovations; the mattresses are sagging a bit. They have a complimentary shower, and you can use the pool on the day of checkout. There's a refrigerator in the room
The hotel is located in a very central and convenient area. The hotel building is beautiful and comfortable, with a spacious reception area. The pool is very nice and has plenty of space around it for sunbathing
The hotel was superb and the staff were fabulous. The only gripe we had was we were the fardest room from the reception and that was very far from reception and the entrance/exit of the hotel.
The hotel is very well located, close to a bus stop, supermarkets, and restaurants. There's a free shuttle bus to Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. The breakfast was spectacular and plentiful
Clean rooms, good location, delicious food. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
The reception and staff friendly. There needs to be more spa bookings as I actually went somewhere else for day. I would consider going back maybe in around 20 years time. It's a beautiful location on beach
Food is plentiful are lots of choices and recommend all inclusive. No music around the pool and a Spa which is excellent. Most guest are respectful and such a relaxing atmosphere
Unfortunately I came when it was very bad weather. The hotel is located to the beach. The spa is lovely but could only receive one massage as it was fully booked up
It was especially convenient being able to pick and reserve a sunbed for the week, making each day by the beach stress-free and enjoyable
The best thing is that you can go for a morning walk have breakfast and know you don have to fight for a sun bed. Rooms are good and all face the sea so good views and south facing
The hotel is geared for older people and even the entertainment is focused around that cliental. The lift to spa facilities was broke. I know someone who wanted to access but couldn't due to accessibility

Beautiful rooms with lovely views out to the sea. So good to be close to the beach & if you feel like a long walk, the walkway is just outside the hotel
Andrew and Greta are a brilliant team in the pool. I really enjoyed the 11am fitness sessions
The infinity pool was another factor that drove the excellent rating due… as it is heated and it’s located close to the gates that lead to the beach ️ Playa de las Burras ! I would like to mention the following staff that were very helpful : Celso, Carolina, Maria, Laura , Raul (Life saver and towels) , Rosita at the restaurant was outstanding!! Location is great as you can walk to San Agustin or...
Great location—transportation and shops nearby, yet not in the middle of a crowded hotel area. A pleasant surprise upon arrival—a minibar, beach bag, and flip-flops, along with a spa visit
only slight gripe was furniture being either put out or dragged up above us at the pool/ terrace area. Food was cooked beautifully and plenty of choice

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, 10 minutes from a beach area with many restaurants and shops. It has a large, clean lobby and a rooftop area with umbrellas, chairs, and loungers
On the rooftop, there are two small warm-water pools, a bar, a tanning area, showers, and bathrooms
The food selection is very wide and good, but it varies greatly depending on the style of the place, so if you're looking for something similar to Italian cuisine and/or healthy, you'll have to give it a bit of a miss
The selection of drinks at the bar can be interesting for those who drink alcohol, which costs more than soft drinks. The soft drinks, in fact, are mostly juices and mixes with supermarket items
Breakfast, on the other hand, is very varied and can satisfy your needs in a healthier way than lunch and dinner. Even here, however, the juices and hot drinks are powders mixed with water
Epic rooftop bar!
Friendly staff. Majority of guests were a bit older than expected, but there were a handful of younger couples. Very friendly guests too!
All round, excellent hotel

Everything perfect lovely room with sea view and balcony clean
We spent time at Amadores beach, Puerto Rico, we did a market on the Tuesday and went to the dunes. All of our adventures were via bus and were really reasonably priced
Amadores Beach by bus no 9 is one of the best! Evening entertainment is not to the quality of the TUI Blue ones
All the other time we enjoyed time at the hotel using the miniclub and poolside entertainment
We didn’t pay crazy money so worth it and only here for long weekend. Pools too cold to swim in and waterpark salt water making it uncomfortable to be in for long
Pool isn't heated and although the weather is lush and hot sometimes the pool was a little cool for the little ones, we generally used it when the sun had been on it for a while and did short stints but the older children seemed happy to be in and out

Lovely clean hotel, rooms nice modern with a small balcony overlooking the pool down to the beach, staff friendly & helpful, stayed half board food verity v good
Even though it has "only" 3 stars, the hotel was really nice. The staff was super friendly, nice pool area, close to the beach and further away from the touristic area. Really enjoyed it.
It is unpretentious and stylish, an abundance of plants everywhere. I love the beach and walked it every day. The food is good quality with a good supply of fruit and vegetables
Beach, few pools...
And a nice beachfront walk...
I had a lovely side sea view room on the 6th floor. It was just so relaxing to sit on the balcony and take in the atmosphere. I love this hotel and have been there many times
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool area spacious with plenty sun beds. Dining room plenty tables for buffet breakfast and there was a luge choice of well presented and prepared food

There was a small spa shop that sold most of what you needed (larger supermarket a short walk away) there were lots of sports activities available and classes such as yoga etc the communal pool was large and busy with fun activities during the day such as water polo and aqua aerobics
There were lots of sun beds easily available but we were told that this is three low season and only at half capacity but was still fairly busy each day. Bar, reception and all other areas were clean
We arrived on a Monday and stayed for 10 days and I must say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at, keeping in mind this is a sports hotel and one should utilize the wide array of exercise offerings
My stay at Monte Feliz was absolutely amazing! I went there with my football team, for a week of activities, sports and fun, but also for leisure and relaxation
There was no nighttime entertainment so if you want a more lively area you can catch a bus/taxi or hire a car. We prefer a quieter hotel that we can relax in
Rest assured, Monte Feliz made that plan so much easier to accomplish!
I shared a room with 3 others, and the living space was more than enough

Very nice hotel rooms large with fridge and kettle we were facing the pool with distances views of the beach and sea room kept very clean towels changed every morning if you want to
pool clean and heated and gardens kept immaculate we were bed and breakfast and it was fine serving fresh fruit, cereals and bacon and eggs etc which was of a good quality we were there for seventeen nights and loved it the only down side was the bar down stairs didn’t sell coffee it was only in the restaurant under the all inclusive package we were told, would we return YES definitely nice location...
Almost all staff are super friendly! Ok to be honest, it could have some maintenance or painting, food could be more variously but overall it’s a great value and we have a great stay, in the end it is what you expect, and you don’t pay for a Hilton or Riu, so have your expectations accordingly
Hotel is in a great location, local amenities are within walking distance. Although slightly noisy from neighbouring hotels/bars. Thankfully we were on the 4th floor, facing the main road & could see the sea
We are in the hotel now and enjoy our stay here. Great value, excellent stay for the price you pay! It’s a small all inclusive hotel with big rooms! Former apartments renovated in basic hotel rooms
It’s good but tonight it was a new level. The entertainment I couldn’t work out what language he was trying to sing in. It wasn’t German, English or anything else close to to Spanish

Needless to say the pools and the location are excellent but the service is the thing that sticks out
Great hotel and food fantastic. A big shout out to Riu Fit team member, Naira, who was great. Her classes were excellent and she was very experienced in everything she did. She made our holiday even better
It can also feel slightly overcrowded at dinner time, as everyone wants to eat at the same time, so some queues at the buffets, whether this is in the morning or in the evening, can be a bit long, but nothing crazy
The beds around the infinity pool were always taken first, but the actual pool wasn’t busy
You have everything which you need in order to completely relax and rest: great weather, great service, great rooms, great food, spa and massage service, etc
Our partial sea view room didn’t have a sea view, it did a couple of years ago but the palms had grown (who could have guessed that), anyway we were moved as soon as we asked to a great room

I always was greeted with a smile, the food is delicious. I like the grill and the grill by the pool in the bar area. The room has all the facilities you will need
Very well located hotel. Clean comfortable room with a very comfy bed. Tasty food. Room too close to nightclub for more than one night. Would recommend!
The pool area was very well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and we had the sun all day
The snack bar was also very well managed and served a great selection of drinks and food (not your usual poolside food) which surprised us. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable
We loved it so much that we are returning next year and have booked it already and extended it to 14 nights ! See you all next year, you have created an excellent vibe in your hotel that we have never experienced before at any other, we thank you so much for making our holiday so special and so relaxing
The waiters remember what you are drinking and get fresh drinks for you straight away. There are always plenty of comfortable sun loungers available, and fresh towels every day for the loungers

This as well as the mirrored frame means that privacy isn’t the best). The rooftop pool was really nice, it was always quiet and there was plenty of sunbeds free. Was very relaxing compared to the beach
The rooms could use soundproofing doors and windows. Pool area on the top floor of the hotel, only accessible by stairs. Offers great 360 view of the city
Location is great, a few minutes from the beach, port area, shopping centre and transportation hub
Location is convenient, hotel room is clean, bed is soft.
Room isolation is bad, swimming pool outdoor at the 25th floor which means lots of wind and cold in winter.
My room at 9th floor doesn’t provide bathrobe
No seating or ashtray provided on the balcony which I found bizarre. My room smelled awful, either an air-con or drainage issue. I was only there for one night so didn’t complain
Had very nice service from the reception staff, allowed us to check-in early and also leave our bags after check-out. The room was on the 14th floor, the rooms are a little tired but not bad for a short stay

There were plenty of sunbeds to choose from including some in the smoking area. The pool was pleasantly warm and not too overcrowded. We were able to get a very late checkout for just €20
Although there was no air-conditioning, as mentioned in the write-up, there was a freestanding fan which moved the air very satisfactory on the hottest day
The Wi-Fi in the room, although not free as stated, was very reasonably priced and very good
Overall, we fully recommend it for a couples or family holiday and reasonably priced
My rooms fabulously clean, 41 inch TV, fridge, kettle, toaster, and full kitchen facilities, mini supermarket across the road very convenient, bang on in the middle of all the entertainment you could possibly wish for on a Holiday, beach down the road, awesome balcony view, room newly updated, I can't fault the place
Room was kept clean by lovely cleaning staff. Reception desk staff were friendly and always happy to help. I only problem was the very rude member of staff in the restaurant

This in itself was not a problem to us as it was a very comfortable mattress, however it had 2 single quilts on it which overlapped quite a bit making it annoying to sleep under, also as the quilts were not secured in the middle they tended to fall off the side of the bed
We loved our stay at Bull Escorial and will absolutely consider returning. Our room was on 7th Floor #720 and despite my partner’s concerns about how high it was they were soon put to bed
Room was spotlessly clean, of a good size & very well maintained with a modern feel. We had a good size balcony with a decent view. Towels were changed regularly and bed sheets were changed at least once during our stay
The no reserving of beds/beds not being used for an unreasonable period of time was well policed by the lifeguard(s). There are also plenty of beds around the corner from pool which seemed like a right sun trap
Staff were lovely and friendly again working very hard. We didn’t have to rush to get a bed by the pool with there often being plenty available even pitching up well after 10am
The free spa was excellent in particular the indoor pool and the flotarium which was a great place to relax

Really enjoyed our stay at the altamar, The food has been really good, the location of the hotel is brilliant only about 6 euros to either beach and the euro centre is only a 5-10 min walk (depending on if you’re going up the hill or down)
3) This is more of a personal opinion, but there is a speaker around the large pool, just put some music on! When the entertainment staff come round and do their daily activities with the music, everyone is there singing away to it and enjoying it
(If you put 1 & 2 together, it’s a real pain, not allowing our kids to jump into the pool next to the bar but also not allowing us to get larger drinks so we aren’t spending 70% of the time walking from one to the other)
2) if you go all inclusive, you get the small cups and aren’t allowed a bigger cup from the bar, this means the two mouthfuls of drink you get from the cups make going to the bar from the larger pool a real chore
it was also weird that as soon as any kids started to play in the pools, the lifeguards basically stood right where they were, almost right ontop of them from the side of the pool, was weirdly uncomfortable
Not really sure why it has to be a silent pool when it’s clearly aimed at the “play pool”. Feel like it let the atmosphere down a bit. That said, they were our only small gripes as a family of 6

I would like to point out that it's a 20 minute walk to the beach, but there are buses nearby that get you there in 5 minutes (I'm not a beach fan anyway so this didn't bother me)
Really good hotel - 1 bedroom apt spacious & clean. Staff & swimming pools excellent. Breakfast selection good but poor quality bacon & sausages.
There were always plenty of sunbeds available, and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing — a real highlight of our trip
Have just spent my 6th vacation in Sol. The Customer Service is just outstanding. From front desk staff , restaurant staff and most certainly house keeping, every query or request is dealt with efficiently and with
The main pool nearest the rooms is very efficiently heated, meaning its temperature is perfect making it possible to swim even if the day is on the cool side
I’m staying at the Sol Barbacan at this very moment as I am writing this review. This is the second time I have stayed here with my husband and it is a pleasure to stay here again after one years' absence
A beautiful hotel and a lovely stay. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful gardens and a great location next to the beach. Would highly recommend
The hotel is a bit dated but the location and staff make up for this. Right near the beach and shops within walking distance.
Iberia Airlines had the most crampt seats I have ever been on & I fly alot, I felt like a sardine for almost 3 hours, not good. If you do go, demand at least 2 hours to transfer flights thru Madrid
Nice hotel right on a lovely beach. if you want thumping music and kids clubs this isnt for you. if you want a relaxing holiday this is a good place. would certainly go back.
Very good hotel.Large rooms. Beautifull garden, spa and beach zone. Variety of foods in the restaurant.
There were seven of us and put in this wonderful hotel overnight as our flight was delayed. Staff were lovely, we were all given individual rooms, food was fantastic, so much choice. Beautiful grounds with so much to do
Perfect hotel! Great! Nothing to add! If you want to relax few days take that hotel!
Pro info: Take a room with "side view" to the sea, they are best in terms of price/service ratio, as you get sea view but dont pay the full sea view
Very very clean also!
What i loved most was the breakfast. Live Music everynight with really really good singers and musicians!
Two steps and ur at the beach from their pool
Just perfect! Could really not ask for more! Im happy they changed my room as i had reserved a double superior room and they first wanted to give me a room which barely had views and was on the first floor near the Taxi stop
Room was beautiful but loud and not high up with views. I told them i was not happy and they changed my room to the 5th Floor. Very silent, beautiful views, great bed and shower
Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, oh wow! The rooftop bar with the scenic views… I highly recommend hotel faro for tourists and first time visitors

The hotel is very suitable for children, both in terms of the pool area and the food in the restaurant. The small bungalows are nice and cozy and all areas are neat and clean.
Amazing hotel that has great staff and is very children friendly. One person in my family got sick and the hotel helped us dealing with that. Thank you for your amazing serivce, I will defintely come back.
I stay 3 days in the hotel and i love the workshop de animation Ana is ameising ...................very cool ...........
Especially the entertainment staff was nice and fun. The fire alarm went off 3 times in a row at about 3. 30 in the morning and one time at 19. 30 but no information or comment from hotel management
A bit out of the way couldn't find a large supermarket for a few days that stocked things needed for 1 year old. Overall very enjoyable holiday
Everything was verry good. The food was verry good. The only thing we didn't like was there were to many couples with young children.

Positive aspects:
- Swimming area (heated pools and jacuzzi)
- Tennis and minigolf included in the price
- Spacious room and fridge, good main beds, nice terrace with sunbeds
- Friendly cleaning persons and overall good cleanliness
- Enough sunbeds in pool area
We absolutely recommend Palm Oasis for those seeking a quiet and comfortable experience with friendly staff, nice rooms, decent breakfast, and a nice pool area
The only negative I can think of is that you need taxi for transport, or use the free bus down to Maspalomas beach, so there isn’t much to do near the hotel
Both pools looked great but we only used the top one as the lower level one looked more for families with younger children
Some people did get crazy about the sunbeds but we never had any issues and there were always spare around
Went there as a family for a week in the end of february 2026. Our son had a great time with the lovely woman the reception. Thanks again! 🙂
