Hotel Riutort in L'Arenal

We stayed at Hotel Riutort for 7 nights and, unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations. The room had serious maintenance and cleanliness issues: dirty walls with chipped plaster and visible stains, cracked floor tiles, and bedding and towels with unpleasant stains (red on the sheets, yellow on the towels) despite daily housekeeping. The beds were two separate singles with noisy frames, hard mattresses, and stiff pillows - and they would immediately separate if you got close to the middle, which is particularly uncomfortable for a couple. The air conditioning only worked if the balcony door was shut with force, and from the balcony side room’s door couldn’t be opened at all.

There was no clear schedule for daily cleaning, so on several occasions the staff came just as we were getting ready to leave for the beach, meaning we had to either let them in immediately or go without a cleaned room for the day.

The reception and bar staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent. However, the hotel is close to the beach, about 5 mins walk. Unfortunately, these were the only positives.

The biggest issue was the constant disturbance caused by large groups of German tourists. They were extremely loud day and night - shouting, laughing, singing in the hallways, stomping, dragging flip-flops noisily, and behaving rudely by the pool. They blasted hard bass music non-stop, making it impossible to have a normal conversation with other members of your own group. Sleeping or relaxing was out of the question, and the hotel staff took no action during the entire week to address this.

In short, if you are looking for rest, comfort, and decent accommodation standards, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
