I had an amazing stay at the hotel. Im giving 5 stars because I enjoyed everything. Great location, nice and very clean rooms, tasty food and very friendly staff. Especially reception lady Mary who checked me in and given me all information I need. Very professional and friendly customer service. Dinner staff especially lady with short black hair was also a super nice! Will definitely be back!

The hotel room was clean and tidy, a great position close to beach and restaurants not far from old town as well. We were there when the power cut happened. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Science City. Parking is convenient but costs €18 per day, which is a bit pricey. The parking lot entrances and exits are narrow, requiring excellent driving skills! Breakfast was very generous, and the Domino pizza we had was especially, especially, especially delicious—there was even a queue at 11 pm!

This is a proper modern hotel, not a remodeled European old building. The hotel is located just across the street from the City of Arts and Sciences and Ganhe Park. The design is business but also has a holiday feel. The room is spacious enough, the service is good, and the rooftop bar overlooks the City of Arts and Sciences. Good location, OK room, good value for money. But I wrote that I didn't want the last room when I booked the room, but they still arranged the last room for me! This made me very angry!

Excellent experience! Staff were amazing, and the hotel exceeded my expectations.

The staff were very kind and upgraded us to a larger room than usual. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and had strong water pressure. The bedroom had air conditioning even though it was winter. The bed was soft and very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to organize our belongings. The breakfast was acceptable; although it was not very varied, it was sufficient for what we needed for breakfast

Location is good, rooms are good and clean but I don’t recommend the take the breakfast, I found it really bad and lacking of resources. Better to eat outside.

Great stay at the Senator Parque Central, Room had plenty of space, bed and pillows very comfortable and very clean room. Location is quite good, just 15min from train station and town center. And Russafa are is quite well alive, lots of restaurant/bar options. Service was 10/10 whenever I needed anything, this was handled quickly.

The room is spacious and has light, the bed is nice. TV as well, fridge works well. The bathroom is big and the shower has strong water pressure. The furniture is a bit odd, and some of the floor plates were moving. The gym is old and needs to be improved. For a decent price (below 80 EUR) is a good option to stay.

Lovely clean hotel staff friendly and helpful large bedrooms. The negatives are meal time (evening) was like a stampede no queuing in an orderly manner people just pushing in not a big choice of hot food (well cold food really) meals not described in English, entertainment not geared for the English and finally not very good if you have mobility issues as the ramp to the hotel is very steep

This was my second time staying here. I like where it's located, maybe a little too far away from everything for some people, but if you prefer a quieter spot in Benidorm this is ideal. Went there with my parner for a few years before he passed away always had a good time. the room was clean And staff frendly. This is a wonderful hotel with amazing bedrooms and the staff a great. However, for a 5* hotel, the breakfast was barely warm and in some cases cold, this was everyday we stayed there. On our last day I purposely went down for breakfast as soon as it opened but still the cooked breakfast wasn't warm enough to eat. That is a disappointment for a 5*hotel.

The only down part was the dinner. Way to greasy and not yummy at all.

Hotel in a great location, staff friendly but not that clean, food crap I could have knocked someone out with bread roll and pizza! Bar only takes cash bit odd and the so call gym seems to be knackered to say the least! Defo not a gym as I know it!

Not a bad hotel, although very disappointed in the spa area we had to pay 16 euros each to use , jacuzzi was cold , heated longer n jet showers not working . Water jar empty so couldn’t even get a drink of water .

Outdoor space was exceptional with uninterrupted sea views. Negatives, booked 2 rooms, they couldn’t have put us further away from each other. Our room was a penthouse, 2nd bedroom was tiny with no clothes storage what so ever, Wi-Fi wasn’t worth it, when you finally connected it would drop out. On site bar closes at 4 pm, restaurant prices were extortionate.

We stayed here regularly for years but we decided to revisit after a 10 year break. It is out of town and there is no public transport so you need to rent a car or find an alternative way. The views from here are stunning. The pools are lovely but they seem a little neglected and quiet now. Room was big, bright, and spotlessly clean, as indeed was the whole hotel. Excellent friendly staff, and excellent location. However, as I have some mobility issues, a handrail on the 3 steps and/or short steep slope necessary to get to the lift would have been a great help. However, this is a minor fault and doesn’t detract from my overall 5* marking.

We've been to Benidorm a few times and stayed in different hotels. This was the best so far. It's a modern hotel with great facilities and a really good location. Good value for money. A bit dated, but for a beach getaway, it's not too far away and acceptable. It's fine for a short stay; the buffet has limited variety, but the food is decent. The worst thing is the lack of parking, and finding a spot can be difficult in high season. The good thing is there's an open area nearby with both free and paid parking, and if you find a spot, it's not far away.

The hotel is quite old, but the food is very good. My biggest complaint is that there's a lot of rubbish piled up under the stairs on the ground floor, and cockroaches accumulate there and come out—it's disgusting. They should pay more attention to the maintenance of this hotel.

Everything was great, the staff was super nice, efficient and professional. I would repeat without any problem and I would even recommend it to anyone who is ill.

We have been coming to this beautiful hotel for 18 years, it never fails to deliver in five star service. The greeting from all the staff is friendly welcoming but not too nuch. The accommodation is luxurious and clean, the cleaning staff are always so courteous. The breakfast is excellent and so too is the “restaurant on top” Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

I recently stayed at the Sol y Sombra alongside 7 of my friends. We are all 23/24 year old English “lads” and were originally apprehensive given some of the reviews from other English folk.
