I had an amazing stay at the hotel. Im giving 5 stars because I enjoyed everything. Great location, nice and very clean rooms, tasty food and very friendly staff. Especially reception lady Mary who checked me in and given me all information I need. Very professional and friendly customer service. Dinner staff especially lady with short black hair was also a super nice! Will definitely be back!

The hotel room was clean and tidy, a great position close to beach and restaurants not far from old town as well. We were there when the power cut happened. I cannot praise the staff enough for the way we were treated not only that day but everyday we were there. 100% would recommend and return again. Mike & Sue Miles.
This place is great, took us in without notice when we had a problem with another accomodation, staff is kind and helpful, located in a very nice area with all kind of services around, room are spacious and sparkling clean with great A/C and the buffet breakfast is delicious and varied !!

Excellent and abundant breakfast; helpful staff and a large, comfortable room.
We stayed at the hotel during the Fallas festival. A big plus for us was the hotel's private parking and its location in an unrestricted area. In the evening, it turned out that the best spot to watch the fireworks was right in front of the hotel. There's also a great bar on the hotel's rooftop with panoramic views. So, we were very pleased with our hotel choice. It's especially convenient for those...
Towel should better be more clean  Flushing is not enough  Shower is weak
The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Science City. Parking is convenient but costs €18 per day, which is a bit pricey. The parking lot entrances and exits are narrow, requiring excellent driving skills! Breakfast was very generous, and the Domino pizza we had was especially, especially, especially delicious—there was even a queue at 11 pm!
This is a proper modern hotel, not a remodeled European old building. The hotel is located just across the street from the City of Arts and Sciences and Ganhe Park. The design is business but also has a holiday feel. The room is spacious enough, the service is good, and the rooftop bar overlooks the City of Arts and Sciences. The breakfast is rich, with all the cold cuts and cheeses I can think of...
Good location, OK room, good value for money. But I wrote that I didn't want the last room when I booked the room, but they still arranged the last room for me! This made me very angry!

Excellent experience! Staff were amazing, and the hotel exceeded my expectations.
The staff were very kind and upgraded us to a larger room than usual. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and had strong water pressure. The bedroom had air conditioning even though it was winter. The bed was soft and very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to organize our belongings. The breakfast was acceptable; although it was not very varied, it was sufficient for what we needed for breakfast
Location is good, rooms are good and clean but I don’t recommend the take the breakfast, I found it really bad and lacking of resources. Better to eat outside.
the hotel is in Valencia . near the city center and it is close to airport.
Great stay at the Senator Parque Central, Room had plenty of space, bed and pillows very comfortable and very clean room. Location is quite good, just 15min from train station and town center. And Russafa are is quite well alive, lots of restaurant/bar options. Service was 10/10 whenever I needed anything, this was handled quickly.
The room is spacious and has light, the bed is nice. TV as well, fridge works well. The bathroom is big and the shower has strong water pressure. The furniture is a bit odd, and some of the floor plates were moving. The gym is old and needs to be improved. For a decent price (below 80 EUR) is a good option to stay.

Lovely clean hotel staff friendly and helpful large bedrooms. The negatives are meal time (evening) was like a stampede no queuing in an orderly manner people just pushing in not a big choice of hot food (well cold food really) meals not described in English, entertainment not geared for the English and finally not very good if you have mobility issues as the ramp to the hotel is very steep
The hotel room was very clean and maintained. All the staff I came in to contact with were very polite and helpful and looked as though they enjoyed there job Excellent location in-between the new and old town I was on full board plus and only cost a few euros more so worth the money if on a budget however the food wasn't good at all and definitely needs improvement as lacked taste and also variety...
This was my second time staying here. I like where it's located, maybe a little too far away from everything for some people, but if you prefer a quieter spot in Benidorm this is ideal. The hotel room was immaculate and I was upgraded to a much bigger room with a massive balcony, which was thoughtful of the hotel. Breakfast was incredibly busy, so my advice would be to go as soon as they start serving...
Went there with my parner for a few years before he passed away always had a good time. the room was clean And staff frendly. Always enjoyed the walk up to the hotel and going into the big super market and buying our water and crisps etc. Only problem was the food was a hit or miss bit bland at times.
Just came back from a weeks stay, Room was ok ,clean but noisey, location was ok for us but not good if you're older,Food was disappointing, if you like pizza chips and fish your be ok but nothing seemed to go with anything pasta but nothing to put on it, if you like boiled spuds your be ok.wife had a reaction to the paella her eye closed up. Everything was perfect. Very friendly and attentive to the guests' needs.
This is a wonderful hotel with amazing bedrooms and the staff a great. However, for a 5* hotel, the breakfast was barely warm and in some cases cold, this was everyday we stayed there. On our last day I purposely went down for breakfast as soon as it opened but still the cooked breakfast wasn't warm enough to eat. That is a disappointment for a 5*hotel.
The only down part was the dinner. Way to greasy and not yummy at all.
This hotel boasts a high level of style and cleanliness. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and it's conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the nearest supermarket! Gem of a hotel, ideal location, rooms are typical of all hotels - modern and clean. Staff all very friendly. Dining room/restaurant is quite small & can get very busy - but staff ensure you get a table promptly (we never had to wait, some did for 4 or more)! Food was faultless. Great choice & replenished often. Enjoyed breakfast & evening meals at the Flash. Pool area was great with some entertainment...
Hotel in a great location, staff friendly but not that clean, food crap I could have knocked someone out with bread roll and pizza! Bar only takes cash bit odd and the so call gym seems to be knackered to say the least! Defo not a gym as I know it!
The towels required to be changed more frequently.we had them change three times in a week that’s not good enough
Breakfast quality of food wasn't what i expected from a 4☆ plus hotel stayed in other hotels in benidorm with similar ratings and food was superior. Shampoo/shower gel wasn't replenished and was diluted.
Good hotel with a great location close to all entertainment in Benidorm. Room was clean and a reasonable size. Breakfast was very good with British bacon. Lunch/dinner was decent with sufficient choice. The hotel was good value for money given its location.

Absolutely loved the place. Very beautiful resort, clean and spacious apartments with sea view. Our penthouse was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Also enjoyed some great food and service at the resort restaurant. Will surely visit again in summers. Highly recommended!!!
Clean room, lovely place and friendly staff. Nice peaceful location.
Outdoor space was exceptional with uninterrupted sea views. Negatives, booked 2 rooms, they couldn’t have put us further away from each other. Our room was a penthouse, 2nd bedroom was tiny with no clothes storage what so ever, Wi-Fi wasn’t worth it, when you finally connected it would drop out. I stayed at Imperial Resort for 5 days in September. It was a pleasant experience. The most pleasant part of the resort is the view you have over the city from where you can see the sea. It is a real pleasure to sit on the terrace or by the pool with friends and have such a view. It is a quiet place, but you have to keep in mind that you need a car to get around, which is an advantage, because it gives...
It about 2k from the bach front. No shops near and an hard uphill walk. A car is definitely a plus although the parking in the garages is a challenge with a medium size car.

the receptionist Andrada I think was her name made our stay so lovely, she assisted me many times and just made our stay so much easier I would only come back if she was here but it was a lovely experience
We stayed here regularly for years but we decided to revisit after a 10 year break. It is out of town and there is no public transport so you need to rent a car or find an alternative way. Modern hotel in old building. Excellent location near marina and restaurants. Very clean, Staff friendly. Breakfast plentiful and varied
By far our nee favorite hotel in Alicante. Friendly staff, perfect location & the room was gorgeous! Large bathroom & nice interior.
Room was big, bright, and spotlessly clean, as indeed was the whole hotel. Excellent friendly staff, and excellent location. However, as I have some mobility issues, a handrail on the 3 steps and/or short steep slope necessary to get to the lift would have been a great help. However, this is a minor fault and doesn’t detract from my overall 5* marking.
Newly renovated hotel with huge garden and pool. The spa is fantastic (it has a super cold ice bath, 2 saunas and 2 pools) and the dinner is also great. The breakfast was also good - it could be even better if they offered fresh coffee too. We will be back, thank you!
Very friendly staff. The bedroom and all hotel facilities were clean and welcoming. The breakfast was varied and sufficient for me. First time at this hotel but certainly won’t be the last

That's it. I don't know if the food complaints refer to another hotel, as some people are quite forgetful. Of course, it could be the same people who pile their plates high with greasy food and impossible combinations. Back home, I'll need tests and a doctor's visit. Good value for money. A bit dated, but for a beach getaway, it's not too far away and acceptable. It's fine for a short stay; the buffet has limited variety, but the food is decent. The worst thing is the lack of parking, and finding a spot can be difficult in high season. The good thing is there's an open area nearby with both free and paid parking, and if you find a spot, it's not far away.
The hotel is quite old, but the food is very good. My biggest complaint is that there's a lot of rubbish piled up under the stairs on the ground floor, and cockroaches accumulate there and come out—it's disgusting. They should pay more attention to the maintenance of this hotel.
3 stars, third line from the beach. Attentive staff. Clean. Air conditioning blowing constantly. Good, varied breakfast buffet.

EVERY member of staff from management to maintenance are polite & welcoming. We love the esmeralda hotel & the resort. We...
We stayed here in August 2025, the rooms are quite dated, but it’s a room For sleeping so no big deal really just a bit worn. The hotel itself was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. The lifeguard was friendly and found us sunbeds on our first day when it was quite busy. He did remove towels during the week but this was people who had been gone for hours and we never struggled to get a sunbed...
The food was very good, always diversified something to everyone's taste. The chefs do their job very well, especially Mrs. Maria, who was always attentive to the buffet and very friendly.I can't say the same about the rooms. They need major rooms improvements. When I booked the pictures looked different from what I found in the room, and I don't mean cleaning, but furniture. I give it 4 stars just...
We spent a fantastic week at the Esmeralda Hotel. Everything was just right from the tasty food and clean cafeteria to the friendly and professional reception staff. A special thank you to Juljan, the pool lifeguard, who made me and my family feel truly welcomed. Despite most guests speaking Spanish, he was the only one who spoke to us in English, and his kindness and hospitality stood out. He made...

Very good location for the beach, lots of restaurants if you don’t want to eat in the hotel. Beautiful...

Everything about the Sol y Sombra was very good. The room was clean, large-ish and with a large bathroom. Lots of hot water. There wasn´t a view from the window but that was reflected in the price. I was very impressed with the food. I was full board and I was pleasantly surprised to find that all drinks, including wine, beer and soft drinks were included. I´m hoping to return with my wife in the...
Delicious food, very nice atmosphere and views from the pool
I recently stayed at the Sol y Sombra alongside 7 of my friends. We are all 23/24 year old English “lads” and were originally apprehensive given some of the reviews from other English folk. However, I can safely say our stay was very pleasant. The rooms are admittedly a bit dated however they do the job and are clean. Most of the guests are elderly Spanish people but they were friendly and along as...
