No space, no shelves, no wardrobe, no shower enclosure, the entire bathroom floor stays wet.

Location is not good if you want to be near any attractions. The small room is modern decor and has all you need, and the hotel provides a ticket for a welcome drink at the bar.(small prosecco). Check in took 15 minutes, and we were only ones there. Be sure to ask for a room on the backside as it is on a major street and it is noisy.

We had an amazing time at this hotel, even though it was just for 1 night. The rooms are a great size with a beach view. Very clean and comfortable beds. The pool is very nice and has a unique style. The best part was the distance from the beach.

This is a genuine review and we could honestly say it was a fabulous hotel. We booked a Premier room which has extras like bathrobe and slippers and little treats. We had a family week here mid March, 3 superior rooms for 6 of us. We were all very happy with the rooms. Spacious comfortable and extremely clean. I had maid service daily and it was excellent. The first thing to note is that a transfer coach won't drop you off or pick you up from the hotel due to the tightness of the access road. Staff are lovely. Straight up the main road to the beach, about €5-6 for a taxi. It was equivalent to a Premier Inn in the UK. Breakfast was standard buffet breakfast. Pool and rooftop was nice. Booked in here for a few nights to meet friends, the hotel is separate to the apartments and takes a bit of getting used to as you have to go through the hotel, walk around by the pools to get to the apartments. Our group of 15 cyclists enjoyed the service and the excellent staff. The food ranged from good to very good. The rooms could use updating. The mattresses, in particular, are in dire need of replacing. I had a great stay here for four nights. It is a very cozy place perferctly located between the old city, the city of arts and science and the beach. The hotel is also easy to reach from the airport by the metro. Only downside I can think of are the loud room doors during the closing process as some other guests mentioned it on Google. All in all I had a pleasant stay!

This is definitely one of the best four-star hotels in Valencia. It's also a courtyard-style hotel. The service is very warm and welcoming. There is free parking in front of the hotel.

Had alot of teething problems at the start of our visit where lots of things went wrong. But hotel really really tried to put things right with some superb staff. Especially "Super" Oscar at the bar and Mayte who helped us sort our taxis for the day. As well as our fabulous shuttle bus driver (sorry cant remember his name) who was really awesome.

While the room was impressively clean and featured a lovely balcony view, the sleeping arrangements were a major letdown. The "double bed" was actually two singles pushed together with 2 separate mattresses, and because they were on wheels, they constantly moved apart during the night!

Valencia has just had a flood, but there is no impact on the city. Every time I come to Valencia, I stay at the Central Hotel. The price/performance ratio is good. The hardware facilities are a little old, but it is acceptable. This time I came to Valencia for a short time, I will go next time

I can only share my experiences of the restaurant, which was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent food and the service was brilliant, with reasonably priced meals in a pristine and relaxed environment. The hotel is very comfortably furnished and located right in the center of Alicante. The rooms are spacious, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It about 2k from the bach front. No shops near and an hard uphill walk. A car is definitely a plus although the parking in the garages is a challenge with a medium size car.

We stayed here regularly for years but we decided to revisit after a 10 year break. It is out of town and there is no public transport so you need to rent a car or find an alternative way. The views from here are stunning. The pools are lovely but they seem a little neglected and quiet now. I was looking for a long term rental for use as a pernanent home. The house I viewed was a little on the small side for me personally although it was more than adequate for a couple rather than a family for use as permanent home. Hotel lovely but very disappointed. I am staying here presently and went up to bar yesterday and they could only offer me a high bar stool at bar even though there were a lot of empty seats. Had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The location is really great and central to everything. The superior room was spacious and had a separate lounge area but could do with renovating. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was average. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly.

Just returned tonight from the city of Alicante where we stayed at Gran Sol affiliated by Melia, (we read the reviews before we traveled and our fears were gone as we arrived at the reception yesterday (this is a twenty storey plus 1970s tower) but the service and the room we stayed at made our city break most enjoyable. I cannot recommend this Hotel high enough. All the staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. We had our birthdays here as were treated like royalty. The hotel is spotless all through. Rooms cleaned every day. 2 weeks of doing nothing except eat and drink. Location is near to old town
