No space, no shelves, no wardrobe, no shower enclosure, the entire bathroom floor stays wet.
Location is not good if you want to be near any attractions. The small room is modern decor and has all you need, and the hotel provides a ticket for a welcome drink at the bar.(small prosecco). Check in took 15 minutes, and we were only ones there. Be sure to ask for a room on the backside as it is on a major street and it is noisy.
Just arrived and loving it already! The hotel looks fantastic, and the reception team made a great first impression, super helpful, welcoming, and all smiles. A perfect start to my stay. I’ll update this review with more details after my 7-day experience. Update: Amazing breakfast.
This was an opportunity to have a few days holiday in Valencia and we would certainly have no hesitation in both recommending and returning to the Hotel Malcolm and Barrret. We particularly chose this hotel because of the reviews and pictures of the breakfast choice combined with its location to the Old Town area. Absolutely nothing disappointed and all the staff were extremely helpful, courteous and...
nice cosy hotel with friendly team
We had a great time at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations! The room was being cleaned everyday and they would also change the towels on a daily basis. The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The food at their restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast once and we also had dinner there twice. They also have a service for renting bikes, which we did and it was really helpful...

We had an amazing time at this hotel, even though it was just for 1 night. The rooms are a great size with a beach view. Very clean and comfortable beds. The pool is very nice and has a unique style. The best part was the distance from the beach.
Nice hotel facility and great staff
Perfectly clean hotel. The reception process was quick and easy. Breakfast was great with loads of choice. The Bar in the evening was just what was required after a long day. My room had everything you could want, and they even left fruit which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.
Noisy hotel due to Tikabar cutomers shouting Next door Tika bar was very loud until 7am every night made worse by some guy shouting outside it all the time. We complained and got a room change opposite side of the hotel but still heard the same guy for our 4 night's shouting and waking us up, so we had very little sleep. Gym was very tired dumbbells jumped from 17.5kg to 50kg nothing in between plus...
There weren't even slippers in the room, the hotel is average, but the pool is great
Smart and comfortable stay in North Beach Enjoyed a 5 day this smart modern hotel; staff very helpful and efficient in lobby and in the large buffet dining room. Very clean rooms and super comfortable beds gave a good rest & aircon was good. There’s ample street parking just outside (€12/night garage parking offered seemed excessive, especially for a motorbike, but neighbourhood seemed safe enough...

We decided to stay at this hotel from the great reviews we read. We’ve spent many times staying in Benidorm and this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We only stayed for 7 nights bed and breakfast as we prefer to eat out and the breakfast was superb. Lots of choice, food was piping hot and the later timings suited us perfectly. The reception staff were always pleasant from the moment...
My sister and I love the 'Don Pancho' its like 'coming home' to us. We feel so safe here hence why we return. The staff are fantastic, everyone of them friendly and helpful. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are cleaned to an excellent standard. The diningroom has a lovely atmosphere even when its extremely busy. The food is of excellent quality and has great choices. The entertainment at night...
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, delicious food just great!
Wonderful hotel, nothing at all to criticise. Great rooms, all with sea view, helpful staff, excellent food. The Christmas decorations were stunning. Buses very close. Short walk to promenade. We will be back.
This is a genuine review and we could honestly say it was a fabulous hotel. We booked a Premier room which has extras like bathrobe and slippers and little treats. A lovely welcome when we arrived from reception staff. The room was spotless as like the rest of the hotel, food excellent with plenty of choice. Would definitely say best hotel in Benidorm and we have stayed in many.
Absolutely fabulous We go to Benidorm every year and have stayed in many hotels. However our visit to Don Pancho has far surpassed our expectations. It is simply amazing From check in to check out we cannot fault a thing The staff are attentive and so friendly Evert single one ! We were not staying at the hotel on this visit as like to have a change every now and then but have stayed several times previously the last time being in November 25 for Fiesta. We popped in a couple of times on this trip to have a drink in the bar and maybe see some of the staff we knew. We usually go to the Princessa, so this was a smaller hotel for us, but we still enjoyed it. We like RH hotels and will return again. The food is excellent. We have just arrived home from a ten day stay at this lovely hotel. We had a very nice room overlooking the town with a side sea view. The room was kept immaculately clean during our stay. Customer service not responding to my emails, which I find terribly rude. We spent 5 lovely days at the magic rock with no complaints. Food, drinks and hotel in general was lovely, staff were very happy and polite. My daughter unfortunately left behind an Apple earpod in our room 110. Third year we've stayed at the Magic Rock. The first year being able to use the roof top and bar was great. Finding out last year that the bar was not opening was a major disappointment. Stayed at the Magic Aqua Rock Gardens hotel in Benidorm this last week. The first thing to note is that a transfer coach won't drop you off or pick you up from the hotel due to the tightness of the access road. Upon entering the hotel, the staff was very welcoming and we were quickly checked into our room. When I went downstairs to buy dinner, I discovered there was a buffet. Nice, clean hotel. Helpful staff. Breakfast was decent with good options.
The hotel is located in very convenient place right at the bus station! Very good for travelers from Alucante Airport.
Stop by at Benidorm and travel to Altea, this hotel is good as a middle point. It's convenient to get to the highway to Altea. The direction for the hotel car park is not clear.
Staff are lovely. Straight up the main road to the beach, about €5-6 for a taxi. It was equivalent to a Premier Inn in the UK. Breakfast was standard buffet breakfast. Pool and rooftop was nice. Bar staff were friendly and put the football on when I asked. First drop on the coach from the airport, 2nd last pick up on the way back to the airport.
The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. The front desk staff were especially helpful. The pool is beautiful! 🤩! The parking lot is a huge plus, considering parking is difficult in this area! Highly recommended! By the way, they were very generous in upgrading my room. I’m just back from two nights at this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. I had one of the apartments on the 9th floor of the separate block. It was well equipped and spacious. I had a great stay here for four nights. It is a very cozy place perferctly located between the old city, the city of arts and science and the beach. The hotel is also easy to reach from the airport by the metro. Only downside I can think of are the loud room doors during the closing process as some other guests mentioned it on Google. All in all I had a pleasant stay!
This is definitely one of the best four-star hotels in Valencia. It's also a courtyard-style hotel. The service is very warm and welcoming. There is free parking in front of the hotel.
Quiet and cosy hotel. Minimalistic. Breakfast has not big range, no fancy but not bad. Location is not central, but is very well connected. Beds are comfortable but they use sheets instead of whole surrounding blanket cover. Not a big deal hut potentially not the best hygienic solution.
Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Centrally located to sightseeing and many restaurants and cafes. Nice staff, very accommodating. Pleased with my stay.
Loved staying here. Very easy to get to, and in a fair walking distance to things and metro stations. The bedroom was great, would like it to be slightly wider for luggage, and the shower was fantastic. Instant hot water, and the shower is very big with a proper closing door. Breaking was just okay, with very light options, and nothing that really stood out. My only complaint was the AC thermometer...

Had alot of teething problems at the start of our visit where lots of things went wrong. But hotel really really tried to put things right with some superb staff. Especially "Super" Oscar at the bar and Mayte who helped us sort our taxis for the day. As well as our fabulous shuttle bus driver (sorry cant remember his name) who was really awesome.

Very clean. Great location with a bus stop right outside to take you to the centre or the old town. Room was great, comfy bed and good shower. Would definitely stay here again
While the room was impressively clean and featured a lovely balcony view, the sleeping arrangements were a major letdown. The "double bed" was actually two singles pushed together with 2 separate mattresses, and because they were on wheels, they constantly moved apart during the night!
Great location for a beach holiday, but it's a bit far from the city center. However, public transport is very convenient.
Got the room towards the back (It has a large balcony, but the sea view is really just very partial) Still, the room, was spotless clean. Beds were ok comfy, not great, not terrible. Bathroom was newly renovated, very nice shower. Aircon (for heating) worked very well. No fridge (just for those really wanting one) Location is good, 5min from Tram stops, 3min from the beach. Overall, a solid no nonsense...
Good place, actually only thing that brings the score down is the lack of isolation in the rooms. Especially the showers/toilets. If i lay in bed and have the shower door open it's like u have ur neighbour's inside ur room... And the breakfast is very basic but still OK.
The hotel was fine and in a good location near to the beach. However, my elderly and disabled mum who was in a wheelchair struggled as they only had a single disabled room on a separate floor to all of us even though she needed our assistance. overall good. everybody was nice, could have been a bit cleaner.
Really great hotel and location being so central to both the beach and the city centre. Very clean, helpful staff and good sized rooms.
The hotel breakfast is good with wide spread of choices. There’s also two nearby shopping malls Aqua and El Corte Ingles, with restaurants and supermarket to look for food and drinks👍👍
The room was a little small for three people, and the bathtub was in poor condition with dents. Otherwise, the property was spotless despite everything. The bedding and sheets were clean and comfortable.
A place with few Chinese people. I stayed in the neighborhood for three days and didn't see any Chinese people. It's very good! The location is easy to find. There is a shopping mall within 500 meters.
Valencia has just had a flood, but there is no impact on the city. Every time I come to Valencia, I stay at the Central Hotel. The price/performance ratio is good. The hardware facilities are a little old, but it is acceptable. This time I came to Valencia for a short time, I will go next time

Very good hotel with excellent service, only breakfast is a bit poor.
The hotel is very comfortably furnished and located right in the center of Alicante. The rooms are spacious, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel features an intimate pool and an excellent rooftop with a stunning view of the castle. The Fondillon restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices. The breakfasts are varied and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
Quite pricey for Alicante but lovely room and fab roof top pool (heated) overlooking Santa Barbara castle. Minibar / fridge, kettle and coffeemaker, UK etc TV channels. Very nice staff (a special shout out to Cristina). Only thing missing for me was a bar. Apparently there's one up top but closed when we went. The cosy library would be perfect spot for one. Parking in basement tight but great to have...
Welcomed with a fresh glass of Cava and Ivan was very helpful with an amazing sense of humour. Room and facilities were amazing. Can't wait to stay again.

I stayed at Imperial Resort for 5 days in September. It was a pleasant experience. The most pleasant part of the resort is the view you have over the city from where you can see the sea. It is a real pleasure to sit on the terrace or by the pool with friends and have such a view. It is a quiet place, but you have to keep in mind that you need a car to get around, which is an advantage, because it gives...
It about 2k from the bach front. No shops near and an hard uphill walk. A car is definitely a plus although the parking in the garages is a challenge with a medium size car.

We stayed here regularly for years but we decided to revisit after a 10 year break. It is out of town and there is no public transport so you need to rent a car or find an alternative way. The house I viewed was a little on the small side for me personally although it was more than adequate for a couple rather than a family for use as permanent home. If it were to be used as a holiday home I would say it is perfect . Located on a bright and modern development with a private parking space the house has a modern fitted...

Hotel lovely but very disappointed. I am staying here presently and went up to bar yesterday and they could only offer me a high bar stool at bar even though there were a lot of empty seats. I am 67 years old and waiting on a hip replacement. Told them l couldn't get on a high bar stool but the gentleman l spoke to was not helpful at all. Not great service or inclusive at all
Had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The location is really great and central to everything. The superior room was spacious and had a separate lounge area but could do with renovating. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was average. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly.
Just returned tonight from the city of Alicante where we stayed at Gran Sol affiliated by Melia, (we read the reviews before we traveled and our fears were gone as we arrived at the reception yesterday (this is a twenty storey plus 1970s tower) but the service and the room we stayed at made our city break most enjoyable. The views from room 1803 (superior room with views) in fact that room has city...
We stayed here for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis on floor 11, stunning views over the marina. Room was small and noisy with the lift right beside us but you got use to it. The room had a mini bar which was at a charge if used. Breakfast on the 2nd floor was very nice with a lot to choose from cold to hot food. The hotel was in the perfect spot for access to the shops and waterfront. The roof...
After all the rain in the UK we decided to go to somewhere dry! We settled on Alicante and looked around hotels in the area that were in a good location for the marina, restaurants, beach and travel links and decided the Gran Sol by Melia fit the criteria. Getting there from the airport was easy and quick, we walked outside and got the C6 bus immediately as they run every 20 mins and were at the marina...
This hotel is the easiest to find in Alicante as it's the tallest building in the city and just off the main road along the seafront. Our room overlooked the marina and it had everything we required. The bed was a bit dodgy but we still managed to get a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was well stocked with something for all tastes. The coffee was good but my husband couldn't get hot enough...

Family holiday. Chosen for location and looked like it catered for kids but was disappointed. Opposite beach in quieter area so perfect for beach holiday. Hotel pool was disappointing. Not many sunbeds for April so in high season definitely wouldn’t get a bed. Pool was freezing and although they said not heated it would have made a huge difference for kids. The kids pool is all shaded so I think in...
Had potential but overall disappointing Travelled as a family 4 adults and 3 children aged 3-13. Pro’s: location Branded drinks Free water machine on room floor Sun terrace great view, bar, comfy chairs and beds Room size was good and comfy beds (no balcony’s) Cons: Sewage smell all week Only one lift working so you will wait a long time Small dining area, have to book time slots and you...
Beautiful sea view from our jacuzzi room, location is very good for shops and restaurants and bars everything in a good range! Room kept stunningly clean every day. Fresh towels and smelling clean and fresh, staff are delightful and welcoming in all areas including buffet, bars everything and reception nothings been any bother such a beautiful atmosphere, great value for money and experience has been...
I cannot recommend this Hotel high enough. All the staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. We had our birthdays here as were treated like royalty. The hotel is spotless all through. Rooms cleaned every day. 2 weeks of doing nothing except eat and drink. Location is near to old town
Loved our stay, would definitely recommend
Sorry for the delay in writing this review, but because we stay at the hotel so often we need to wait 3 months between reviews So, we stayed over the New Year and the gala dinner on New Year’s Eve was as delicious and spectacular as the one we had in 2023. I would recommend a stay at New Year for the dinner alone. The entertainment and party afterwards cannot be sniffed at either. We met some great...
