Probably one of the best hotels in Zermatt at least for this price! Definetly recommend it

The Hotel was very clean and have a very good location near the Gondola station. The breakfast was very good and Personal staff together with the Manager very kind

Truly a very well mainted and kept Hotel. The location is almost perfect close to the skilift and with a beautiful view on the Matterhorn. The staff is really friendly and helpful

We asked for a third bathrobe and they brought it in less than 5 minutes. The sauna is small but has a cozy window and chill out area. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious

We stayed as a couple and found the hotel to be small but incredibly cozy. It's conveniently located just a 5-6 minute walk from the station and right on the river.

Our newly renovated roof top room for families (with older kids because of the steps leading to the roof top bed and they’re worried about safety) was extremely spacious, sound-proofed, comfortable, with pretty views, and was very warm in mid-December - we didn’t even use the heating

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Capricorn. Rooms and entire hotel was clean and had an excellent ambiance. Breakfast was excellent every morning and was included. The spa was spacious and had good hours

The room is nice, the breakfast is hearty, the wellness including spa and sauna is the best. We can see Matterhorn from our room every day, and there are black face sheep at the mountain on our right

This was just a terrific hotel. The whole place was very clean and there were lots of little touches that showed thoughtfulness (e. a basket in the hall had lightweight lap blankets to use if chilly sitting on balcony)

There was coffee available downstairs. Breakfast had plenty of choices. The Staff were friendly and welcoming. Just a really clean, well run establishment. I could not think of anything they could do to improve

The place is unique, beautiful decorative! Our room was cozy, comfortable and it had a balcony with mountain view! Michelle’s friend Greig went a way beyond to please us and provide a delicious breakfast! They have a Brazilian coffee 😋The list goes on and on! So many great things about this place! Robert Philadelphia This hotel is in the center of Zermatt and is surrounded by a lovely garden. It is run by a second-generation family member, and she does an outstanding job

The rooms though small are neatly done. The double rooms seem to be better placed. The interiors in the reception are beauty. You feel warm and welcomed here. The staff is too good and and ready to help you

The wellness area is fantastic! There are plenty of opportunities to relax in the sauna, steam bath, a special experience shower, a whirlpool… There's also a well-equipped fitness center! Beautiful hotel in a beautiful region and super friendly reception

This is probably a solid 3 star hotel but was a 5 star experience. Location can't be beat, service was efficient and friendly. And the room was so unique, so comfortable

There is a spa for adults on the lower level, along with a boot room in the hotel and a ski room in the garage across the street. The hotel recommended ski instructors and rental services, all of which were excellent

The location is pretty central and it is an easy walk to the Sunnegga lift and also the bus to the Matterhorn Express lift. We had a great stay and would certainly consider this hotel again should we return to Zermatt

This hotel exceeded expectations. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms with 2 kids. The pull out couch chairs were perfect for them. The ski room was great with boot warmers and a place to store our skis overnight

This happened 2 times for us and of course a major concern was ‘where can we stay?’ The Elite team of Marianne and Annalena always took our stress level down and provided us with a calm ‘don’t worry you will be OK’ and offer to help with ‘anything’

Hotel location is good and good view

The hotel is the white house shown in the first picture. The room was quite small, but the breakfast was decent and pretty abundant. It's located in the middle of town, close to the church

Charming place just off the Main Street. Lovely friendly staff and the rooms had a wonderful coffee machine in them. Not the greatest breakfast selection but enough for satisfaction.

Overall, the value for money is alright. Zermatt has tons of hotels, so there are many choices, but very few are available for booking on Ctrip

Highly recommend especially with their included breakfast with includes views of the Matterhorn! Would be even greater if kettles or a shuttle service from the main station was available

The hotel facilities are complete, clean, and modern. It's within walking distance of the train station and in the town center

Room 304 was superb, bed super comfy. Rooms amenities included a bathrobe, slippers, a water cartel, with offerings of tea bags and instant (good) coffee

The Astoria is reasonably priced(for Zermatt) we paid circa €1,200 for 4 nights in March. If you are looking for a good value, authentic Zermatt hotel, the Astoria is for you, we will be back!

Have to say this was a wildcard. For 10 years we stayed at the same hotel in Zermatt, was always our “home,” however when an offer comes up at 180chf less for 2 nights we decided to wildcard it - did not regret at all

Breakfast selection was plentiful, my only thing - better coffee would be appreciated, was a bit too thin taste wise. Still 5 stars and now seems we have moved to a new “home

There was no refrigerator, so I had to eat what I bought immediately, but the hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious! The breakfast was buffet style and the coffee was very good.

10 minutes away from the train station, there is a short uphill road, the room terrace can see the Matterhorn, clean and tidy, breakfast is normal, the staff is kind, but it's a pity that the hotel does not provide microwave ovens and water kettles, there is hot water, but it is not available until you go to the basement

There are separate men's and women's restrooms in the basement for the restaurant, and the dormitory bathrooms are clean, but it was nice to have separate men's and women's restrooms

I don't know about the hotel. But the outside deck is perfect for a midday drink and break while snowboarding.
