Where to stay with pets in Zermatt

First time at the Beau-Rivage and would highly recommend — excellent service from friendly staff, clean and charming rooms, easy-access ski-room and a desirable location right next to the "cheese bus" free bus stops going to either the Matterhorn gondola or the Sunnega funicular

Location would give 4 out 5 , about 650 mts away from the station , but near Sunnega. However, a lot of tourists come specifically to this hotel location for a spectacular view of the Matterhorn

The convenient location made it super easy to just walk to to all the attractions in Zermatt. Definitely a must stay with great value for money, negligible noise level and a lively atmosphere

We just returned from a week at the Beau Rivage and enjoyed a perfect stay. The location is perfect in town, but less than a 10 minute walk to any lift or 5 minute bus shuttle

The breakfast was ideal with eggs, meats, cheeses, fish, cereal and fresh baked goods. Very central, but quiet location

Resort La Ginabelle was absolutely amazing! Great location, wonderful staff, clean rooms and common areas, and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had included with a stay

This hotel is top notch in all aspects. Staff is awesome, helpful and friendly. Spa is off the charts wonderful. Location is close to the train station and a short walk to the heart of town

The hotel is very close to Zermatt Station and View Point. It is very convenient to walk there with a suitcase in about 5 minutes. The hotel also provides a free short-term bus (Zermatt's unique battery car)

This is hands down one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The breakfast buffet is epic and the spa is very well appointed with multiple pools and sauna options

Our room was also impressive with modern and comfortable amenities capped off by a view of the Matterhorn!

The hotel is centrally located and about 8-10min away from either one of the gondola stations. You’ll find it easy to get into town from here as well as there are great restaurants just a stone throw away from the hotel

Without asking they even packed us lunches for the train since we would be missing breakfast. They literally think of everything! We absolutely love them!

There are many good things about this hotel. If you plan to ski in Sunnegga then the location is excellent just 1min walk from the telecabin

Steps away from the train station with incredible spa and amenities. The breakfast and tea time with desserts daily was a cherry on top. Room service comes from a cute Italian place down the way and is great

When we entered our room we had mistaken it for a apartment due to the sheer size of it, it looked way smaller in the photos than it did in person. Thank you for treating my family on a vacation

We were rather put off going into our room as it had a bad smell to it and the bathroom in particular and surmised because of this, that something wasn't clean perhaps the carpet or drains to the toilet

Fantastic two night stay up at 3100 meters! The room had basic but high quality furnishings. And of course, the amazing location

Great location, you pay for the view. Food at the guest restaurant wasn’t great at all (at least when we stayed). Hotel provide coffee, sugar, creamer and tea as well kettle to heat the water

The room was incredibly spacious with breathtaking views from the window. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the shower pressure was surprisingly strong for a high-altitude location, which was very comfortable

The Matterhorn's 'spectacular view' left me speechless! It's incredible that a hotel is situated at such a high-altitude location. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious too.

Catching the sunrise in the morning is an exclusive experience for guests, and on the last day, I even got to see the 'Morgenrot' (alpenglow), which was absolutely amazing

This was one of my several stays at Hotel Sonne. The hotel is at a great & quiet location, but super convenient to the town center. Service, hotel rooms & restaurant is excellent. Very fair price for what you get

The location is just off the main area and quiet with a nice stream by the hotel. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Sonne

The included daily breakfast was hearty, varied and of high quality, Our only suggestion is to open the spectacular outdoor hot tub earlier than 4PM so as to allow guests to soak immediately after the slopes instead of having a long wait

Hotel Sonne is spotlessly clean (very important to me), welcoming, with plenty of individual space, a lovely spa area, a great masseuse but the food is its usp - breakfasts to suit the fussiest family and the Tapas Restaurant is amazing

One of the ladies helped us with our late check-in, and overall our interaction with them was great! The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is close to the shuttle station from Tasch, as well as close to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola

Good service and breakfast; good value for Zermatt and not too far from the station. A bit far from the lifts, but you get what you pay for.

Comfortable room and great breakfast! By far the most value for money place I've slept in at Switzerland, and Zermatt is supposed to be more expensive than all other places

The hotel is really close to the train station, and the Gornergrat train station (for the Matterhorn) is right across from it. It's pretty easy to find – just take the small path opposite the Patek Philippe store

after finding out we had to spend the night in Furi, we were lost but were so kindly welcomed by the whole Team of this family run hotel. They made us feel at home, we had the most amazing and unexpected evening

truly ski-in, ski-out, and convenient to ski to Italy/Cervina, as well as the Zermatt/Sunnega area - the rooms are extremely cosy (warm wood) and comfortable (the chromecast tv is a new nice feature), beds are good, good room service, very clean - good ski room, boot dryers etc - the wellness area is very clean, compact, well organized, varied (sauna, steam, underground pool, bubble baths in the pool...

This is my second winter holiday at Silvana. It’s an absolutely idyllic location for slope and snow lovers. All the staff are super friendly and treated us like family. This is our home away from home

Our room faced the Matterhorn directly! Absolutely stunning! In the morning, you don't even need to go to a viewpoint to see the 'golden' sunrise on the mountain, and the evening view is just as incredible! This hotel is completely worth it just for the views alone! The service, needless to say, was exceptional and very attentive! Someone was there to pick us up right at the train station when we arrived...

This hotel is excellent; I would rate it as a 5-star accommodation in this city. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and all amenities are provided, including unlimited free drinks at the in-room bar

There's also a free shuttle service to Zermatt train station, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly. When I checked out, the owner came to greet me. Overall, I was very impressed

We stayed at Antare for a few days after finishing Walker’s Haute Route hike and we had great time there. The hotel is in a quieter area but with walking distance to Zermatt town center

The best located hotel in the town, great breakfast, the room itself is a bit vintage/old vibe but it’s fine.

Unfortunately, I didn’t like how dirty the carpeting is, so if you’re like me and get grossed out by that, bring slippers! Breakfast was amazing and some tables have a view of the Matterhorn

All good. The hotel upgraded our room. Service very nice. Breakfast very nice. The only minor negative point is the fact that the hotel didn't provide toothbrush. Except this everything was perfect

The staff are friendly and the drinks in the mini bars are free..... They are generous with the food, they even have bread, nuts and fruits all day next to the check-in desk.

You can also go to the bar and order a cappuccino. In short, you can eat very satisfying! The best thing is that this hotel also has a pick-up service

Recently remodeled and looks brand new. Pull the curtains and view the Matterhorn from your bed. The balcony has great views of Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Everything in town is within walking distance

Our room was spacious and had amazing view on Matterhorn from the balcony and even the bed! We were also using the swimming pool after the whole day of hiking and the pool was great

Welschen is a phenomenal hotel in all respects and highly recommended for a stay in Zermatt. The property is beautiful and newly renovated with spacious rooms and stylish amenities

The owner, Mr Welschen, works the front desk and even picks up guests at the train station himself. And the location is unbeatable sitting directly above the Sunnega lift. Really a wonderful experience

Can’t beat it! The location is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and downtown area. You do go uphill, so prepare for a little trek if you have heavy or multiple luggage’s

The hotel is located a little uphill, so the view is great. You can see the Matterhorn from the rooftop. There are also chairs and tables, which is great. The hotel staff were very kind and very nice

Check in time is 3 PM, but if you arrive early, they will let you leave your luggage in the dining area so you can walk around the town or go hiking. Breakfast is included and was pretty good
