Writing this review for the beach itself:

Very scenic and pretty beach with some decent snorkelling all around. Was very busy though, and were there outside high season. Would definitely recommend a visit though, especially with good weather. You can’t bring outside food or drink through the main entrance though, so just walk through the nearby resort… 😉

This Thai style hotel on a quiet bay is set right on the beach of the best swimming, paddle boarding and snorkeling on all of Koh Samui. A busy restaurant and bar with a great Thai and Western kitchen settles down in the evening to quiet by the sea nights. Lanai and Chaweang are nearby towns and the airport is about a thirty minute drive. Exceptional and personal The Silver Beach Hotel is the place of unforgettable memory making.

The place is nice and clean, very close to the beach. However the owner seems unfriendly at all. We asked her to at least give us a nice sheet but didn’t offer one, no complimentary water or at least do cleaning since we stayed longer.

This beach is completely overrated. At Silver Beach Resort, you can rent sun loungers for 500 THB (2 loungers and 1 umbrella) for just 3 hours!!! A total rip-off – there’s no service, the loungers are ancient, no cushions, and there’s not even a water hose to rinse off after a swim in the sea. Exactly after 3 hours, they show up and kick you out.

They should take a cue from other resorts where usage is tied to consumption. After all, in this heat, you end up ordering something anyway. That would be a more customer-friendly marketing approach.

The beach was overcrowded, and snorkeling… well, there was nothing to see.

Terrible experience – I strongly advise avoiding Silver Beach.
I have never in my life felt so disrespected and dismissed by hotel staff. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy was shocking. Instead of being treated as a guest, I was made to feel like a burden.
The staff showed zero interest in helping, and their attitude was cold, rude, and disrespectful throughout my stay.
This is not how you treat people who choose to spend their money and time at your property.
I will never return, and I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We spent a relaxing afternoon at the silver beach resort. Cocktails were good and location is unbeatable. Service wasn't great - i had to go up to the bar quite a lot to ask for drinks despite there being a lot of servers around, and you have to pay for your drinks as you go (you aren't allowed a tab), which is a bit annoying but I understand they must have a reason for this (people running off without paying maybe!). It was probably the only place that we visited in the whole of thailand where the staff didnt make us feel 100% welcome but again, i appeeciate this is one of the most visited places on the island so they probably get their fair share of people taking advantage. We rented two sunbeds and a shade for 500 bhat for three hours which we thought was fair.

The on-site restaurant offers delicious meals, complementing the tranquil ambiance. The staff is exceptionally helpful, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. Perfect for relaxation, the resort combines natural beauty, excellent amenities, and top-notch service. Highly recommended!

The beach is fantastic and the most beautiful part of the island, would recommend anyone to visit there.
We came to the hotel late at night so there wasn't much service, but the owner and the security man showed us our room which was very smelly (mold or something), I couldn't sleep the first night, at the morning we told the owner and she sent the cleaning ladies to our room and the problem was solved.
Rooms are quite large and roomy.
Restaurant was great, excellent service with good food and the balcony is almost perfect (need to trim some trees so the view would be perfect).
They got a pool that is pretty much on the beach that is for hotel guests only with the perfect view.
Would recommend anyone (familes and couples) to go there.

10/10 exquisite experience. Scooters for rent. Beachfront access to a pristine cove beach. Nicely sized pool to lounge in as well. Minimal-frills room, but service staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a couple of staff available after office hours — handy when we had to fix our minor electricity issue at night. Would defo come back for sure ✊🏽

Not to be missed, massage everywhere. Beautiful white soft sand and clear waters, surrounded with beautiful huge rocks and greenery. It's my fav beach so far as very close by to me so convenient if u stay near the mountains.
