One of the most popular hotels in Phuket. Located in a picturesque part of the island, on one of the best beaches. Consists of two zones: the first on the coast, the second across the road. Location: 60 km from airport, 15 km from Patong, in a small private Bay of Kata Noi, on the West coast of Phuket, surrounded by tropical garden.
Thani Wing consists of four 3-storey buildings, Bhuri Wing five 3-storey buildings (between Thani Buri Wing and Wing road).
Total area: 70 m2 400.
The hotel has 479 rooms.
Beach: public sandy beach in 20 hotel, beachfront. Between Koh Samui and the beach is a road. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee, towels – free of charge. The length of the beach – 850 m.

My actual experience was better and more consistent than expected. The front desk staff were friendly and patient; I didn't encounter any of the attitude problems mentioned in other reviews. The room itself didn't have any noticeable dampness or musty smells. There was a faint pleasant scent upon entering, which shows the hotel puts extra effort into air quality management. Phuket's climate is inherently humid, so a slight feeling of dampness is normal. The front desk even had a written notice advising guests not to leave the balcony door open for too long and to maintain the air conditioning temperature.
Overall, the hotel has a resort-like atmosphere with lush greenery and a relaxing vibe. There's a wide variety of dining options, so you can easily have all your meals on-site. The water park isn't huge, but it's more than enough for kids (and a bigger one would just make parents tired).
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be that the air conditioning occasionally became noisy at night for short periods (it happened once on each of the two nights, lasting about ten to fifteen minutes before returning to normal). I'm not sure if this is specific to certain rooms; also, generally speaking, AC units in Thai hotels can often be a bit loud.
Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Phuket.
Hygiene: The room hygiene is good, and the mini bathrobes provided are very cute and practical.
Environment: You can't see the sea view, but it's very convenient to cross a small road to get to the beach.
Service: The staff at the kids' club and water park all have good attitudes!
If you're traveling with kids, stay here. If you want to see the sea view all the time, stay in the Tani Building!
