Good condition and clean and tidy

The room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the hygiene details were meticulously maintained. The service was attentive and thoughtful, with prompt responses that made us feel completely at ease

The hotel's location is excellent for travelers, as it is situated close to the Airport Rail Link. This proximity makes transit to and from the airport seamless and efficient

I recently returned for the lunch buffet at Metro on wireless, and was impressed by the noticeable improvements. There is now a greater variety of Thai desserts, which are both delicious and beautifully presented

Overall, I had a pleasant experience. However, staying on a lower level means there is quite a bit of noise from the main traffic outside. I would advise light sleepers to request a room above level 12

The window blinds do not block out sunlight very well , I was awakened early by the sunlight shining directly onto my face, along with the noise from the main road (I stayed on level 7)

Amazing hotel staff - warm and helpful from the second I went in until check out. Hotel is very conveniently located 5-7 mins walk from the Chit Lom BTS and the Ratchaprasong Overhead Walkway

It's an older hotel, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective. The carpet also had a strong odor.

I explained that normal hotel deposits are taken via credit card and I'd never heard of using a passport. It took over an hour of arguing back and forth before I finally got into my room

Couldn't sleep a wink! It's right by the BTS (skytrain), and even with two windows closed, it was incredibly noisy. That's really the only downside, but it seriously affected my mood for the rest of the day

The water in the shower goes from cool to hot and continues to go back and forth throughout the whole shower. It is a business hotel and we had to request for an iron

The location is starting to show its age and things are not working as before. The air conditioning was leaking water and they had to service it while we were there

Lovely hotel, the location is great if you want to stay right next to Chinatown. The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. The staff are friendly. We stayed during rainy season so the carpets smells weird.

A very comfortable and spacious room in the midst of buzzy Chinatown and easy access to the mrt. Lots of food and massage place available around the area. I would certainly stay again.

The room is large, especially the bathroom. The bed is also so comfortable. They have pots, water, cups but don’t have tea. It would be better to have slippers provided

It is right next to the small shopping centre which also has a good SPA there. And there are a lot cafes around

The hotel is conveniently located near Chinatown. Downstairs, there are many Michelin-starred restaurants. It's excellent for shopping and buying souvenirs. The shark fin and bird's nest soup in Chinatown are delicious

The hotel bed was one of the best beds we ever slept in! The connecting rooms were very nice. They suitable with our family needs. I would like to thanks the cleaning team especially! They did an excellent job!

Stayed for two days and I must say that the hotel serves quality services and accomodation. They have a small swimming pool and gym, and bar on upper floor. Wish they provide complimentary bottled water.

Along the road, there’re nice food! The deck breakfast and wanton noodle stall down to the main road. Although there’re 3 lifts, it took some time to wait for the lifts

There are delicious food stalls in the alleys on both sides, and it's also very close to the Sathorn Pier and the BTS station – truly a prime location! Breakfast was quite extensive; my room didn't include it, but I paid extra and it was good value for money

If you don't want to use the kettle for instant noodles, there's a microwave! The lobby connects directly to Central shopping mall, which is super convenient

The first night, the room they gave us was impossible to sleep in: the sounds of cars and motorcycles downstairs were as if they were right next to us

A little known fact is that A-One Hotel nestles in an uncommercial residential estate. A stone's throw away from the hotel lies many local authentic Thai eateries in small shop houses. Must try!

However, we had to pay a deposit upon check-in, and at check-out, we had to return the room cards and wait for them to inspect the room before we could leave

The toilet flush in the bathroom runs through, only cold water in the shower, nothing in the surrounding area that you can do, nothing in the hotel is actually open either. Cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired

A lack of upkeep and maintenance is obvious. The room was big and worn down needs painting and repairs. Large balcony covered in pigeon poop. The front desk staff was a little lost when it came to checking in

Morning breakfast buffet is really good compared to the hotel we stayed in Pattaya(4 Star), rooms are a bit small and not modern looking, but service is great. A/C and Hot water working really great.

Beautiful on top of everything

The breakfast had a great selection of items but was  really just ok. However, if you're looking to have something not included, for example a Coke, be prepared to spend GBP10 for a single can

The reviews I read were correct. While nice, the hotel is showing its age and for the price, you're better off looking elsewhere if you're on a business trip

At that price, the refrigerator in the room is stacked with free drinks so it's best to bring them down to the pool or wherever else you'd like to go

This year, unfortunately, due to high occupancy, not only was the room rate significantly higher than previous years, but we could only get a room for one night, which is a real shame

Celebrating our wedding anniversary at 137 Pillars was the best decision we made for our first trip to Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond our expectations

We stay at 137 Pillars almost every year for our vacation, and honestly, both the service and the upkeep of the facilities are always top-notch

The breakfast is a semi-buffet with an à la carte option, and the food quality is excellent

We also want to extend our gratitude to Pualyn, Rainbow, and Pooh for their warm and attentive service. They made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit

I would particularly like to emphasise Mr View from the pool bar, so friendly and courteous! And as well Ms Aid our housekeeping lady, I never found my room made this way, so passionate, clean and order

The housekeeping staff needs improvement! After they finished cleaning, the toilet rim was dirty and stained, there were scraps of toilet paper on the floor, and the small trash in the shower hadn't been cleaned up

Great service, clean and quiet room. It's a really nice place overall, my only complaint is that there isn't a 7-Eleven nearby, which makes it a bit inconvenient for buying things

There's a night market and bar opposite the hotel, which gets lively in the evenings, and a 7-Eleven is very close by

The service was great! It's also very secure as you need a key card to access the guest room floors

However, I must raise a serious concern regarding the service standards of the male night shift staff at the front desk. His lack of basic telephone etiquette and poor communication are unacceptable

Didnt spend much time at roof top bar due to strong wind and heavy rain, roof top bar's staff are friendly and nice. The breakfast is great with alot of varieties. Downside is the lift, need longer waiting time

Great hotel in the heart of Bangkok! Love the excellent service and surely my room with bathtub overlooking the city! Great price with breakfast and also I love the rooftop! This is my first time in Thailand, and the front desk staff, both male and female, always greeted me and responded warmly. They were truly enthusiastic and polite, not at all as bad as some reviews suggested

The hotel is right next to the subway station. Initially, I was really worried about negative reviews and poor service, but the guy at the front desk was so enthusiastic and helpful, I was genuinely touched

The front desk service and staff were all very nice and incredibly welcoming. There's a small bar on the hotel's rooftop, but unfortunately, it was raining the day we visited, so we couldn't go outside

The location is excellent, with the BTS (Skytrain) just 80 meters away, making transportation incredibly convenient. For a twin room, the bed size is quite generous compared to other hotels in Bangkok

The only downside was that we stayed for four or five nights, and disposable items like slippers and toothbrushes were never replenished. I had to specifically ask for them each time
