Cool location, walking distance to Walking Street night market (think held every Fri late afternoon to night ??, next to Travelodge Nimman ) and CMU campus (where the Ang Kaew Reservoir is within)

Also walkable to One Nimman and Maya shopping...so many Michelin eateries/ restaurant around..

Room and reception was helpful, one day forgot to take card...and they help make a replacement...cool bar next to reception...nice breakfast...

The location is very good. The breakfast is adequate, not special but not bad. Coffee is quite good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bartender is a real bartender, knows how to make an excellent cocktail. Price of the rooms is reasonable. We booked for 8 days and got a discount. The room was fine, clean and good tempuerature control. Linens and pillow fine. Very satisfied. When we needed to book an additional night, we had to pay almost double, they couldn't add it to our existing reservation, then we had to move to a room that was not satisfactory. Tepid hot water, small no chair or desk. Avoid the shell theme room. Other than the last night. it was a good experience.

It was a last-minute booking. The hotel we wanted to stay was fully booked. So we booked at the Nimman Mai Design Hotel. Location of the hotel is great, near to everything. However, the room we slept in on the 2nd floor was not comfortable. No bed, kind of like traditional style or like old Japanese-style sleeping on the floor. The room smells bad. And the shower doesn't have hot water.
One night might be ok but if anyone plans to stay more than a night other floors might be a better choice.

Small cozy hotel in the back alley of the heart of the city of Chiang Mai . Small clean and cozy room . Walking distance to walking street .

Friendly hotel team, best selling point is the vincinity to Nimman One, Maya and even to old city area. The breakfast offers just sufficient balance of carbs, meat and green. Love their daily soup (especially bitter melon and daikon soup), thr congee and the local bananas. The only thing to improve is the room aircon that blows directly to the head when I sleep, making me headache from time to time. Hope there is a way to adjust the wind shield to solve the problem. Aircrafts flying over hotel: i sleep with my own earplugs which did not cause any nuisance to me. Hope the hotel bar will reopen when i next visit, which was a pity without proper drinks during my stay :)

We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staffs. The daily breakfast is tasty and enjoyable. Room is clean and amenities are well equipped. Highly recommended. The location is very near to One Nimman and Maya Mall.
