De coze' Hotel in Patong

I stayed at De Cozé Hotel for one night (27–28 Jan) and it was a very disappointing experience.

I paid SGD 279.83 for one night, which is far above the typical rate in the area. For this price, I expected at least basic comfort and cleanliness, but the actual condition of the hotel was far below what was shown in the photos.

The room had a strong unpleasant smell as soon as I entered. Even more unacceptable, there was no hot water during my stay. This is a basic facility that any hotel should provide. The overall room condition and maintenance did not match the images online.

Service was also poor. When I asked the staff for guidance on parking, their attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful. It did not feel like they were willing to assist guests at all.

Overall, the hotel does not match its online presentation, and the value for money is extremely low. I would not recommend staying here, especially at higher rates.

Extremely bad experience. The hotel was very dirty, and the room had high humidity. The bathroom was leaking, and there was absolutely no soundproofing: you could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms. There's also a decorative pool that's super dirty. We asked to change rooms, but it was even worse. A very unpleasant stay. I do not recommend this establishment.

Absolutely terrible, a giant rip-off! The merchant showed absolutely no humanity. I accidentally booked the wrong date, and I canceled the order within a second, but they still refused to let me cancel. I immediately called the merchant, but they wouldn't pick up. Even after Trip.com intervened to mediate, they flat-out refused. I admit it was my mistake, and I was willing to pay extra to change the date or even stay a few extra days, but the merchant still wouldn't agree. It's such a scam! In the end, I didn't even get to stay and just threw away over 500 yuan for nothing. Seriously, don't stay here! Try to choose somewhere else, at least then if something unexpected happens, there's room for negotiation. Everyone, when booking a hotel, make sure to double-check the details😭😭😭😭
